Meet Maci 💕🐾 Maci is an approximately one-year-old medium mixed breed weighing around 27 pounds — the perfect size for cuddles on the couch and adventures by your side. She has the sweetest little soul, but she is extremely timid and still learning that the world isn’t such a scary place. Maci is good with other dogs and does okay around kids. She’s also okay with cats — she’s just very curious about them and likes to keep an eye on what they’re doing. 🐶🐱 She is currently working on potty training and making progress, but she will need continued consistency and patience in her new home. Because she is so shy, Maci will need a patient and understanding family. She can be easily startled and will run from things that scare her, which makes her a flight risk if let loose. She needs a calm home willing to go slow, give her reassurance, and help her build confidence at her own pace. With time, love, and consistency, dogs like Maci truly blossom into the most loyal and devoted companions. She just needs someone willing to see the beautiful potential behind those timid eyes. 💗 Maci is up to date on her vaccinations and is scheduled to be spayed, which will be covered by the rescue at Auglaize Animal Hospital. Maybelline came to us from another Rescue who took her in from their owners. They have an outdoor dog (great pyrenees) who had puppies with an unknown dad. They do not look at all like GP's but they do have a little bit of fluff to their coat. May is a friendly pup who loves people and play time. She is smart and learns new things quickly. Although she is a playful gal she is the calmest of the group and can entertain herself with toys and chewies for hours. May gets along great with everyone including other dogs. She was born on 11/28/25 and weighs about 8 lbs now. We estimate a medium size full grown. I'm a sweet, playful girl who enjoys fresh air and open space. Whether it's relaxing in the yard, exploring the great outdoors, or just keeping you company, I'm happiest when I'm near my people. Right now, I'm undergoing treatment for heartworm, so my life looks a little different than your typical pup's. I have to take it easy while I heal, but I'm feeling pretty good about it. The shelter staff can tell you all about what that means and what my treatment plan looks like. I can't wait for things to get back to normal so I can fully enjoy home life again. In the meantime, I'm dreaming of a home with a comfy place to rest and a family who will help me through this chapter and beyond.

Jesse came to us from another Rescue who took her in from the owners of the litter. Mom is an outside dog (great pyrenees) who had pups with an unknown dad. Jesse doesn't look anything like a GP but she does have some fluff to her coat. She is the smallest of the group at about 6 lbs. Her birthdate is 11/28/25. Jesse seems to be the most confident and the leader. She is always willing to do whatever you ask of her as long as she understands what that is. She is very happy, playful and curious. Jesses is very much tuned in to her humans and will make a great companion for just about anyone. She is cute and smart and has personality plus. Not to mention she's a major lap lover! I found this dog at a freeway ramp on a cold day. I had passed him 1st day, had to stop and investigate the 2nd day. He was with a panhandling woman who said he was dumped. It broke my heart since it was getting colder. I took him home, hoping to find shelter, it took me 3 days to get him to stop crying. I am an old woman 77, who has ambulatory problems and a landlord with a lease negating no dogs . I have sheltered him since 11/30. I finally named this sweet boy, He had been trying to capture my ❤️. He's housebroken, doesn't chew stuff, but is a really good boy. He is learning new commands, will sit and wait his turn for elevators, has charmed so many of my neighbors. He loves children who wait for their school buses. Wants so much to be loved, find someone who will allow him to be a lap dog sometimes, play ball with him. He will go in crate when I tell him I have to go to work This old lady has neuropathy, COPD, Harley deserves to have a better companion than me.
