Information provided by shelter staff, volunteers, and veterinarians is used to give a best estimate as to a dog’s breed make up. We do our best to inform adopters about the potential breeds for each dog.We are a dog only facility so we do not know how most of our dogs will be with cats. Even if a dog is surrendered to us and said to be good with cats there is no way to be sure the dog will be good with your cats. We do have a 7 day foster-to-adopt program so that you can see how the dog interacts with your cats before adoption.

Rock is a young very energetic dog. He is a great guard dog. He will let you know if anybody is on your property that shouldn’t be there he’ll bark, but he’ll never bite. He’s a barker not a biter. He’s a family dog. He’s grown up around my other dog who is four years old and they get along great. Rocky goes for about four walks a day. With about every other day, he goes to the field and runs. I would love for Rock to go to a family or to maybe like a farm where he could run and have a lot of freedom. I got Rocky when he was only a few weeks old, he was a rescued dog. He has a chip and he is neutered. I think wherever Rocky goes he might be uncomfortable the first day or two, but once he gets to knows the the person or family adopting him he’ll fit right in. He’s coming from a very loving home. I’m moving out of state in the city. I’m moving to German shepherds are not allowed so I’m hoping I can find a nice home for him. He is about between 40 to 60 pounds he’s tall and a goofy dog.
