Story
Both of my dogs need re-home ASAP, due to personal & health issues beyond my control. Sophia is a 8 year old Pitt/ Lab mix. Boss Dog is a 6 year old Plott Hound. I'm praying that I can re home them. All of the rescues & no kill shelters have a year to a year and a half waiting list. So, if I can't re-home them I'll have to take them to the humane society (giving them a 50/50 chance between being adopted or euthenised.😔😢💔. If interested please contact me. ( Both fur babies are listed in this group). Please share. Thank you!

Skip Purebred mini poodle Recently groomed and did great. Did not shave his face. He was groomed into more of a doodle look. Born 9/12/25. 9.6 lbs. Should be under 15 lbs as adult. Maybe less. Most smaller breeds are adult weight by 6/7/8/9 months old. Does not shed and will always need groomed. When he first came in he was a shy boy. Not anymore. He follows me all over the place now. Always sitting at my feet. He loves to lapsit but I have to pick him up and put him on the couch. He will sit here for hours and just do nothing. He might be shy with you at first. Just give him a little time. Super sweet guy! I like him. Super fun and social boy. Loves everyone here. He has no care in the world. Why did I get him? Story
Alfonso was adopted from a shelter in January, and he unfortunately does not get along with my cats and I am at work for long periods of time so I am not able to give him the attention and training he needs. He is confrontational to other dogs and does not know how to play with cats and sometimes gets aggressive around food or when he is not getting attention. He is VERY sweet and loving with the cutest little puppy face. I believe he would thrive in an environment with lots of enrichment and people to play with him and give him attention. He will come with his kennel, a few toys he enjoys, his medical records from the shelter, leash and collar, and a few sweaters. Please email me with questions.

Story
Coco is a beautiful female Goldendoodle/Lab mix weighing in at 53 pounds of love and enthusiasm. She will celebrate her very first birthday on March 15, 2026, and she’s ready to start her next chapter with an active, committed family.Coco came to us as an owner surrender. Her previous family loved her very much but recognized they couldn’t provide the level of activity and structure she needs to thrive. She’s truly a wonderful girl — just a big, happy, high-spirited puppy who needs the right outlet for all that zest for life. This gentle giant thrives in an active home. She loves playing with her people, enjoys a good game of fetch, and is always ready for fun. Coco does well with children and other dogs, including small dogs she previously lived with. Because she’s still learning her manners and can accidentally knock over little ones in her excitement, a home with older children would be the best fit. Cat compatibility is unknown.Coco is reported to be housetrained and accustomed to using a doggie door. She has been free to roam the home when her people are away and is used to sleeping in bed with her person. She is very puppyish and will benefit from continued general obedience training and polishing up her manners. With consistency and structure, she’s going to shine. As a doodle mix, Coco will require regular brushing and professional grooming to keep her coat healthy and comfortable. Please be sure to research grooming needs and costs before submitting an adoption application so you’re fully prepared to meet her lifelong care needs.Coco is available through our foster-to-adopt program, which allows you to welcome her into your home while she completes her vetting, including spay surgery, vaccinations, microchipping, and heartworm testing. She’s an all-around good girl with a big heart and an even bigger personality — just waiting for a family ready to embrace her energy and love. If you’re ready to meet this beautiful girl and give her the loving home she deserves, please email dogadoptions@parmashelter.org and submit a dog adoption application online. Coco’s adoption fee is $250.
