Story
In his 3 short years, SCRAPPY has fathered a number of children, at least twice with the same baby mama and produced 9 adorable kids the most recent time. Luckily for SCRAPPY, he doesn’t have to pay child support since he’s unemployed anyway. SCRAPPY isn’t looking for work. What he’s looking for is a family. Once upon a time he had one but last August, they brought him to the Harrison County Dog Pound in Cadiz, OH and said they found him and SCRAPPY has been looking for a new family ever since. There will be no more 4 legged kids in SCRAPPY’s life because he parted with his family jewels a number of months ago, but he wouldn’t mind some 2 legged kids in his life because he lived with them before and loves them. SCRAPPY’s motto is “don’t worry, be happy” and he’s got the whirling tail to prove he practices what he preaches. He’s a happy go lucky dude who is highly treat motivated and wants to be wherever you are. SCRAPPY is good natured and plays dress up with us. You might see him sporting a jacket, sweater or Santa outfit at any given time. Whether you’re active or a slug, SCRAPPY is your dude. Harrison County Dog Pound, 82900 Toot Rd. Cadiz, OH 43907. Open Monday-Friday 10am-4pm; Saturday 9am-2pm; Closed Sundays and holidays. Out of state adoptions are welcomed. Adoption applications are available at the pound or online at harrisoncountydogpoundvolunteers.org. Apple users must submit application using Google, not Safari. $40 application. 740-942-4080

Story
TIGER came to the Harrison County Dog Pound in Cadiz, OH as a stray, but no one came for him so their loss can be your gain. TIGER is a 9 month old Boxer/Pittie mix with beautiful brindle markings that rival those of an actual tiger, but not to worry-this boy is all dog-actually, all puppy. Boundless energy and a bundle of love, it's unclear whether TIGER enjoys playing or being loved on more. He weighs 36 lbs and has some growing to do. TIGER loves everyone and makes friends with everyone he meets. He melted the hearts of all the people he met at the vet when he went for his first check up. He’s good with kids, little and big ones, adults, and other dogs. We don’t know about cats. He will need training because although he will sit on command, he thinks a table is for surfing and people are for jumping. He’s the cutest busybody and while he might not keep your secrets safe (he likes to talk), he’ll pay attention to what you tell him. Harrison County Dog Pound. 82900 Toot Rd. Cadiz, OH 43950. Open: Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm; Saturdays 9am-2pm; closed Sundays and holidays. Adoption applications are available at the pound or online at harrisoncountydogpoundvolunteers.org. Apple users must submit application using Google, not Safari. Out of state adoptions are welcomed. $40 adoption fee. 740-942-4080
