We were young when we got him, and as life went on, things became much busier—especially after having our son. He is an amazing, loving, and friendly dog, and we love him so much. Unfortunately, with our busy schedules and the responsibilities that come with raising our son, we’re no longer able to give him the time and attention he truly deserves. As difficult as it is, we just want what’s best for him and want him to have the happy, fulfilling life he deserves. He'll be 4 years old in December 2026.

And ideal home for them would include adults or family with older, respectful children, a home with a fenced in yard, someone familiar with or willing to learn learn about about hurting breeds, and no cats or small animals. They can be adopted separately or together.

We rescued rookie about a year ago. He had two previous owners. The first is unknown. The second was a woman. We unfortunately had to sell our house and now live in an apartment. Rookie likes to be outside. He likes to run. He likes to play ball and we can’t provide that for him now on a daily basis. He’s becoming anxious and I’m not able to give him the quality of life that he deserves.
