Story
This is Freya! She’s a wonderful dog, but has too much energy for our growing family. We have had her for about a year, but have another kiddo on the way. Freya is loyal, loves to play and needs pets, is EXCELLENT with kids, and has an appetite for life! She would be a great hiking dog, but needs more leash training - she is a country dog. Freya is a wonderful companion to someone or a small family in need. Our household is literally just too small to keep her! We hate to see her go, but we will make absolute sure that she goes to a loving home. All adoption fees will be donated to the new local shelter in Logan county, Ohio. She’s house trained, up to date on shots, and ready to become someone’s best friend. She deserves a home where she can get the time, attention, and love she gives so easily.

Story
THIS IS A VERY CHALLENGING DOG. We do not know the full breed, we do know he is part Lab, he was a rescue approximately 3-4 years ago. He is very friendly to people once he gets to know you but very shy and nervous around strangers. He barks ... a lot... has nipped at unfamiliar children before, never bitten down. He recently began attacking our other dog during feeding times forcing us to separate them. He pees whenever someone tries to touch him. When someone new comes into the home he barks and pees, becomes terrified and does not listen, when attempting to grab him to move outside he pees more and defecates. This has made having him in our home untenable. We have tried multiple trainers without success. It can be very difficult to have guests or have any of our kids friends over. Ultimately we have tried for close to 4 years and can no longer care for him. This is a last resort before euthanasia.

Story
Bri is our sweet Rough Collie. She loves to be outside in the yard. She loves to talk to everyone. Bri is trained to walk on a lead and she knows how to pace my husband and me. I am much shorter and she learned to walk my pace. Bri is crate trained. And we have always use a wireless fence with her. Bri loves our Grandchildren. We have a small old dog and she is so gentle with her. And she loved our cat Topaz. We feed a dog food for a sensitive stomach. She has had no trouble in many years. We take her to our local groomer once a month and she gets a sani cut, wash and blown out. We use to live in the country Bri spent most days outside and we would sit on the porch with her.

Story
🌸 Meet Cricket! 🌸 This sweet little lady is ready to find her forever home! Cricket is a small mixed breed, weighing around 25 pounds — just the right size for snuggles, car rides, and being your constant companion. She’s about a year and a half old and already potty trained! Cricket has one gorgeous blue eye that makes her truly one of a kind. She’s incredibly lovable, adores kids and people, and gets along great with other dogs too. Wherever she goes, her gentle personality and happy tail win everyone over. 💕 Cricket came to us from Louisiana, where she was rescued from a kill shelter along with her two puppies. Her babies have already found their forever homes, and now it’s finally her turn to be the one who’s spoiled with love! She’s scheduled for her spay, which will be fully covered by the rescue. She’s also up to date on her vaccinations and all ready to meet her new family. Cricket’s story is one of second chances and unconditional love. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion with a heart of gold (and the prettiest blue eye you’ve ever seen!), Cricket could be your perfect match. 🩵🐶 Application to adopt https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/STRR/Dog

Story
💔 Meet Lucy — the little dog who still believes in love. 🐾 Lucy was found tied to a tree, her body showing she’d just had puppies. She’s estimated around 2 years old and still very much a puppy at heart, full of joy, curiosity, and hope. We believe Lucy was kept in a basement or garage before she was rescued. Because of that, she’s still learning her house manners, but she’s catching on quickly with consistency and patience. She’s such a smart, eager girl who just wants to make you proud. She is an absolute lover and snuggles up like a nice heated blanket 🐾 Lucy loves her chew toys — she keeps one in every room like little treasures she’s collected now that she finally has a safe place to call home. 🧸 She adores other dogs and will play with them all day long, and she’d love to be friends with cats too (though her excitement can be a bit much for some). After all she’s survived, Lucy deserves a family who will give her the love and security she’s been missing. She’s ready for her second chance — could it be with you? 💕

Story
Meet Cooper 🐾💙 — your future best friend! Cooper is a handsome, medium-sized mixed breed boy, weighing about 34 pounds and sitting right around 2 years old. He’s that perfect age where he’s past the wild puppy stage but still full of playful, happy energy. Basically… the best of both worlds ✨ This sweet guy is: 🐶 Great with other dogs 👧👦 Wonderful with kids 🐱 Okay with cats (though he does think chasing them is a fun game, so confident or dog-savvy cats would be best!) Cooper is already a total rockstar in the basics — he’s potty trained and crate trained, which makes the transition into a new home so much easier. He loves being part of the action but also knows how to settle down and relax. He is up-to-date on all of his shots and is scheduled to be neutered, which will be fully covered by the rescue at Auglaize Animal Hospital in Wapakoneta, Ohio 🩺❤️ Cooper is the kind of dog who will happily join you for adventures, playtime in the yard, or cozy nights on the couch. He has a loving heart, a playful spirit, and so much loyalty to give. All he’s missing is a family to call his own 🏡 If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate, well-rounded companion, Cooper might just be your perfect match. Come meet him and see for yourself — he’s ready to steal your heart 🐕💫
