Story
🌸 Meet Cricket! 🌸 This sweet little lady is ready to find her forever home! Cricket is a small mixed breed, weighing around 25 pounds — just the right size for snuggles, car rides, and being your constant companion. She’s about a year and a half old and already potty trained! Cricket has one gorgeous blue eye that makes her truly one of a kind. She’s incredibly lovable, adores kids and people, and gets along great with other dogs too. Wherever she goes, her gentle personality and happy tail win everyone over. 💕 Cricket came to us from Louisiana, where she was rescued from a kill shelter along with her two puppies. Her babies have already found their forever homes, and now it’s finally her turn to be the one who’s spoiled with love! She’s scheduled for her spay, which will be fully covered by the rescue. She’s also up to date on her vaccinations and all ready to meet her new family. Cricket’s story is one of second chances and unconditional love. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion with a heart of gold (and the prettiest blue eye you’ve ever seen!), Cricket could be your perfect match. 🩵🐶 Application to adopt https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/STRR/Dog

Story
💔 Meet Lucy — the little dog who still believes in love. 🐾 Lucy was found tied to a tree, her body showing she’d just had puppies. She’s estimated around 2 years old and still very much a puppy at heart, full of joy, curiosity, and hope. We believe Lucy was kept in a basement or garage before she was rescued. Because of that, she’s still learning her house manners, but she’s catching on quickly with consistency and patience. She’s such a smart, eager girl who just wants to make you proud. She is an absolute lover and snuggles up like a nice heated blanket 🐾 Lucy loves her chew toys — she keeps one in every room like little treasures she’s collected now that she finally has a safe place to call home. 🧸 She adores other dogs and will play with them all day long, and she’d love to be friends with cats too (though her excitement can be a bit much for some). After all she’s survived, Lucy deserves a family who will give her the love and security she’s been missing. She’s ready for her second chance — could it be with you? 💕

❄️💙 Meet Frosty! 💙❄️ Just like her name suggests, Frosty can be a little cool at first — but give her a little time and she’ll completely melt your heart. 💕 Once she warms up to her human, she absolutely loves attention, playtime, and sharing sweet kisses (on her own schedule, of course!). Frosty is a female Great Pyrenees who is already pad trained and crate trained, making her a wonderful addition to the right home. She is up to date on all her shots and will be spayed around 6 months old, with the procedure fully covered by the rescue. 🐾 Please note: Frosty will only go to homes that meet certain requirements, and YOU must have knowledge of the Great Pyrenees breed. If you’re patient, loving, and ready to earn the devotion of a gentle giant in the making, Frosty just might be your perfect match. 🐾💙

Story
✨ Meet Tux! ✨ This sweet boy is around 6 to 8 years old and has been with our rescue for almost two years waiting for that special home to call his own. 🖤🤍 Tux is paralyzed from the waist down, but don’t let that fool you — he doesn’t let anything slow him down! 💪 He does have a little wheelchair, but he prefers to scoot around on his own, and he gets around amazingly well. Because of his paralysis, Tux wears diapers or belly wraps and will need a home that can give him a little extra care and a lot of love. ❤️ He’s great with other dogs and kids, and he absolutely loves to play with squeaky toys — they’re his absolute favorite! 🧸 He’s up to date on vaccines and neutered, ready to roll (or scoot!) right into your heart. 🥹 Tux is truly one of a kind — a happy, loving boy who just needs someone special to see past his differences and give him the forever home he’s been dreaming of. 🌟 Thank you for watching and for always supporting our rescue mission. Every like, share, and kind word helps animals like Tux get one step closer to finding their happily ever after. 🥰 Application to adopt: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/STRR/Dog #AdoptDontShop #RescueLove #ForeverHome #AdoptTux #SpecialNeedsDog #Handicapable #PetRescue

Story
❄️🐾 Meet Glacier — Your Future Gentle Giant! 🐾❄️ If you’ve been dreaming of a fluffy white cloud with paws and a heart full of love, let us introduce you to Glacier 💙 Glacier is a male Great Pyrenees puppy, estimated to have been born around September 25, 2025, and he’s already well on his way to becoming the loyal, gentle companion this incredible breed is known for. Glacier came to the rescue as a local surrender along with his sibling, and despite the big changes in his young life, he’s doing absolutely amazing. He’s a happy, curious puppy who loves to explore, learn, and soak up attention. 🐶✨ He is up to date on all his shots and will be neutered around six months of age at Auglaize Animal Hospital in Wapakoneta, Ohio, with the procedure fully covered by the rescue — one less thing for his future family to worry about. 💕 This sweet boy is already puppy pad trained, does great with other dogs, and is good with kids, making him a wonderful candidate for the right family. 🐾 Please Note: Glacier will only go to homes that meet certain requirements, and YOU must have knowledge of the Great Pyrenees breed. This breed thrives with families who understand their size, temperament, and guardian instincts and are committed to setting them up for success. Glacier is ready to trade rescue life for a forever home full of love, structure, and guidance. If you’re prepared for puppy antics, fluffy hugs, and a lifetime of loyalty, Glacier just might be your perfect match. 🤍🐾 📩 Interested in adopting Glacier? Story
🐶💙 Meet Chief! 💙🐶 Chief is a handsome, medium-sized mixed breed, around 5–7 years old and weighing about 41 pounds. He is neutered, heartworm negative, up to date on all vaccinations, and more than ready to find his forever home! Chief is house-trained, crate-trained, and walks nicely on a leash, making him an easy and enjoyable companion. He does well with most other dogs, but he can be selective about his canine friends. Because of this, Chief would do best in a home without dominant dogs. If there are other dogs in the home, we strongly recommend a meet and greet to ensure everyone is a good match. He is great with kids, but would do best in a cat-free home. This friendly boy loves to play with his chew toys and is always up for an adventure — especially if it involves a car ride! Chief has a wonderful balance of playful energy and laid-back charm, making him a great fit for an active family or someone looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion. If you’re ready to add tail wags, companionship, and unconditional love to your life, Chief may be your perfect match. 🐾 Adopt Chief through All Starr Pet Rescue today! 🐾
