Catch has been with us for about 5 years now. He first came in when he was a year old. We called him Catch since it took the warden a month to trap him. He has pretty much grown up at the shelter. A man came by a few years ago and adopted him. They were Best of friends. for about 2 years, then the man passed away. and Catch was back with us again. He is looking for a furever home where he is the only animal. He enjoys walks, and loves foods and snacks. A good back scratcher his person will need to be. Peppa is a 2yr old GSD/Blue Tic/Rottie/Bernese/Lab mix who was taken from a hoarding situation. She had never seen the sun or touched grass until she came to us. This lady is doing very well with accepting her new world. Although some things are still scary (shuffling on stones) She does like to touch things with her mouth (your hand, wrist band) Shes just checking things out. Its all new to her. Sting was given to a friend but they found out he doesnt like cats. He loves kids and being with people. He seems to enjoy the company of some dogs. He will need brushed to maintain his coat. Belly rubs are a must and he would like his furever people not leave him alone for long periods of time. He is still learning how to be on a leash. He is learning to play fetch. Brita was found tied up in the goat barn at the fairgrounds. What kind of person even does that? We think Brita is lucky to be free of that loser, and has a brighter future with people who choose her. She is still figuring out shelter life but enjoys outside time with other dogs around and with staff and volunteers.
