Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Mashed Tater — but everyone calls him TATER! Tater is a young Shiba Inu mix pup with a heart as big as his love for playtime. He came from an overcrowded household where he didn’t receive much one-on-one attention, so he can be a little shy when first meeting new people. Give him a little time, though, and his fun, affectionate personality comes shining through. This active, happy pup loves his toys and especially enjoys playing with the other dogs in his foster home. He’s doing very well with housetraining and is crate trained, making him a great candidate for a smooth transition into his forever home. Tater gets along wonderfully with other dogs in his foster home (cats are unknown), and he absolutely adores his foster brother Dexter, a small doxie. The two are inseparable, which is why Tater truly MUST HAVE a home with another friendly dog to help him feel secure and happy. After his neuter surgery, Tater showed off his best charm and earned a spot sleeping in bed with his foster mom — where he promptly snuggled in and went straight to sleep. It was a sweet glimpse of the loving companion he’s ready to be. Tater is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. He’s hoping the New Year brings him what he wants most of all — a permanent home filled with patience, play, and a canine buddy to call family. Could Tater be the missing piece to your pack? &#226&#156&#168Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ Click here for the ADOPTION APPLICATION if you are interested in adopting this pet. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Adam Wiggleton!UPDATE from ADAM's FOSTER MOM:  Meet Adam, my ridiculously energetic foster dog who's always game for a walk or hike, loves kids, dogs, and protecting his bird feeder from those pesky squirrels, while simultaneously being a deer-watching enthusiast, sunbathing pro, and if going for ice cream he's ready to go with his other furry siblings..oh, and he's trained to ask politely to go out, this scruffy guy is now looking for his forever home!! Santa didn't bring me a home for Christmas - but I'm hoping for my very own home in the New Year. Breed? Your guess is as good as ours — let’s just call him a “Certified Scruff Mix.” At about two years old, this handsome fellow is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and ready to wiggle right into your heart. Adam was found starving as a stray (we suspect he was abandoned), but he hasn’t let his past dim his spirit. He’s now thriving — full of joy, personality, and just the right amount of mischief.  If his demeanor doesn't suck you right in--his soulful eyes certainly will. He’s a total social butterfly: adores kids, adults, and every dog he’s met. He currently shares his home with two canine buddies and we are looking for a home for him with another friendly companion as he loves, loves, loves to play.  Adam is an outdoorsy guy who loves hiking, zooming around with friends, and attending local baseball games with his foster mom — he’s practically the team’s unofficial mascot! &#226&#154&#190 His only “flaw”? He’s a professional countersurfer. We blame his rough start in life… but he’s quick, clever, and very proud of his title. Adam is on monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention and is being lovingly fostered in the Selinsgrove area. If you’re looking for a loyal, funny, adventure-loving companion (with a PhD in snack detection), Adam Wiggleton is your guy! &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ Click here for the ADOPTION APPLICATION if you are interested in adopting this pet. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Rudy Joe Rudy Joe is a 3-year-old red miniature poodle who is just beginning to discover how wonderful life can be. Raised in a breeding facility, Rudy arrived to us matted and bedraggled, unsure of the world beyond his small kennel. But after a warm bath, a fresh groom, and lots of gentle love, his sweet personality truly came alive. Now Rudy is all about the good life! He loves cuddling in bed with his foster mom and her three canine companions—both big and small. He also lives peacefully with a cat and is doing very well with housetraining. Rudy Joe has been neutered, is up to date on vaccines (with one booster scheduled in two weeks), and is on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. He is currently being lovingly fostered in the Northumberland, PA community, where he continues to blossom more every day. Rudy Joe is ready for a home where he can keep learning what it means to be cherished—snuggles included. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Molly Kaye! Molly Kaye is a 3-year-old (best guess) spayed, French Bulldog with a big personality packed into her 25-pound frame.  Molly is a bundle of love wrapped up in wiggles, sweet kisses, and joy! This social butterfly absolutely adores every person she meets and loves being the center of attention. While she has lived peacefully with large dogs and cats, Molly has had issues with smaller dogs.  Therefore, we are recommending Molly be an ONLY dog where she can soak up ALL of the ATTENTION. She's proven to be a master bedwarmer and companion. Molly’s days are filled with her favorite things: snuggling, chewing on her toys, basking in the sunshine, and heading out for walks or adventures. She walks nicely on a harness and is always up for exploring the world by your side. Smart as can be, Molly has been working on her manners—like waiting at the door—and she’s making fantastic progress. She’s eager to please, quick to learn, and just wants to be the best girl she can be. Molly would thrive in a home with someone who understands the unique personality of Frenchies or bully breeds. With the right balance of love, structure, and guidance, she’ll be the most wonderful companion. If you’re looking for a snuggly, sunny, adventure-loving best friend, Mollie just might be the perfect addition to your family.  &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Molly is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and on monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Crystal Belle started her life on April 3, 2024, and spent her first 18 months living in a breeding situation with little socialization or human interaction.  Thankfully, she was never bred because after coming into rescue it was discovered that she had a serious heart murmur.  She has now received the medical intervention that saved her life and she is 100% good to go! Warning:  This is a puppy and as such is just full of her self.  She is a great walker and will go for as long and as far as you are willing.  She uses a doggie door and is treat motivated!  Crystal Belle is a wonderful traveler, bed-buddy extraordinaire, lover of reality TV, and toy connoisseur.  She has frisky attacks that have her running full speed indoors and outdoors, with or without another dog.  She is an easy going lass that gets along with other dogs, cats and kids.  A tad shy when first meeting new people, she quickly warms up.  Despite a less than stellar beginning, she is just the sweetest little girl around. A seventeen pound, apricot, miniature poodle, with the tight curls to prove it, Crystal Belle will need regular grooming appointments to keep her comfortable.  She has a cute little brown “beauty-mark” spot on her side. Some fun facts about this little mischief maker:   She likes to “help” do laundry.  Clean or dirty, she happily grabs a piece and trots off with it, never doing any damage, just proud to be doing her chores.  She also enjoys shredding paper and folders eliminating the need for a paper shredder :). Finally she will leap three feet in the air because she is just so darn happy to see her person. Spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, on heartworm/flea/tick meds, and given a clean bill of health, this little lady is ready to go home.  If you would like to be considered, please apply today at Haven to Home Canine Rescue.  Someone is going to be very lucky to be chosen for Crystal Belle’s forever home!  She is being lovingly fostered in Northumberland, PA. 17857Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ Click here for the ADOPTION APPLICATION if you are interested in adopting this pet. Shortbread—now known as Chili—is unfortunately looking for a new forever home, and she’s hoping it’s with you. &#239&#184&#143   Chili is 2.5 years old, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. She’s a big, beautiful girl at around 70 lbs with an even bigger personality! Chili adores people, is fantastic with young children, and soaks up attention like a pro. She’s a bit dog selective, so she’d shine best as the only dog in the home—more love and tennis balls just for her! Speaking of which, playing ball is her favorite sport, but she’d also be thrilled to join you on hikes and outdoor adventures. After a day of fun, Chili is perfectly happy to kick back and lounge by your side.   Good news for feline fans: Chili is OK with cats! &#226&#156&#168 This is a courtesy post, so approved applications will be sent directly to her owner, who will help choose Chili’s perfect match.
