Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Denver!  This gorgeous blue eyed boy is in need of a new home to call his very own.  Denver has been very loved since he was a baby.  Denver has a very high prey drive so he is not doing well with the other dogs, cats and farm animals in his current home.  Denver loves people and children.  He currently lives with a 5 year old and a 16 year old.  He loves to snuggle with his people and be covered with blankets :) We would prefer that Denver go to a home with a fenced yard but would consider a family that is very active and could keep him exercised.   If you would be interested in giving this beauty a home, please fill out an application today! Denver will be up to date on vaccines, microchipped, neutered and on monthly heartworm and flea preventitives. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ Click here for the ADOPTION APPLICATION if you are interested in adopting this pet. Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs.  We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions. We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.  Thank you!May 26, 2023, 9:28 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Raven is 3 months old, the last of his litter of 5 puppies, lovingly raised in a foster home with other dogs and a variety of people and experiences.  Mom was a Jack Russell Terrier, dad unknown, but something fluffy. He is presently almost 14 pounds and at 4 weeks he weighed 4 pounds.  (Google puppy adult size calculator and do your best guessing at his adult size.)While we don't know what his adult size will be, his foster mom shared what she does know about him:He is very sweet, sticks close and likes to make sure she is in his sight. He has learned 'sit' and is not much of a barker.Pays no attention to the cats in the foster home. Friendly to anyone who vists and LOVES to cuddleUses the doggie door, but is more consistent with the puppy pads for housetraining, they're working on 'going' outside. Not a fan of the crate, but goes in when humans must leave the house. Very respectful of the older dog in his foster home.  Loves to roughhouse and play with the younger one.  Both are larger than he is. Typical puppy, likes to chew and will remind you that you should put your shoes away and don't leave the Amazon box or paper towel roll within reach. Get your application in for this great pup, the foster mom says if she was looking for a 3rd dog, he would be a keeper!     PLEASE READ THE INFORMATION BELOW CAREFULLY BEFORE APPLYING FOR A PUPPY.   BREED:  WE do not know DNA on these pups.  Mom is a Jack Russell/mix and Dad we presume was a 'Love and Leave'em Kind of Guy'.  SIZE:   We can NOT predict the size of these dogs.  Please don’t apply if size is a factor in your decision.  Our goal is to never have to re-home our dogs—especially because they didn’t grow to expectations. THEY POOP AND PEE A LOT:  Be prepared.  Typically, a puppy can control their bladder one hour for every month of age. So if your puppy is 2 months old, they can hold it for about two hours. Don't go longer than this between bathroom breaks or they're likely to have an accident. THEY WILL SHED; DO YOU HAVE A GOOD SWEEPER? IF you work away from home—you will need a patient care giver for your new addition during your absence. THESE PUPS absolutely need training, exercise, and a lifetime commitment.  It is the responsibility of puppy adopters to continue and complete the puppy shot and maintenance protocols.  These pups have had their first puppy shot and are dewormed. They will need to be dewormed as needed. Puppies will need at least two more boosters and a rabies vaccine in the coming weeks with boosters again yearly.  Your vet may recommend other vaccines in the future; such as lyme, influenza etc.   You MUST sign a contract agreeing to have your puppy spayed/neutered at an age recommended by your veterinarian.  You must provide Haven to Home with proof of SPAY/NEUTER at an agreed upon date in the future.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ Click here for the ADOPTION APPLICATION if you are interested in adopting this pet. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.ATTENTION All Wrinkly Face Lovers.....Honey is a shar pei mix who came to us with severe dermatitis and eyelashes that were turned inward - irritating her eyes. Her skin was red and she had a lot of hair loss.  We immediately took her to our vet and ran diagnositics to find out what was causing Honey's severe skin issues.  Allergy tests were run, and it was determined that Honey's BEST FRIENDS were making her ill.  CATS!  Honey is allergic to cat dander and there were lots of friendly cats in Honey's previous home--Cats that played with and cuddled with Honey on a daily basis. Thanks to her dedicated foster Mom, who made sure that Honey was given the prescribed medications and baths, Honey's skin is back in good condition and she is no longer suffering. Honey also  had surgery to correct the entropian (eyelids). She is currently happy and comfortable.  Sadly,  - no kitty friends for Honey.Honey loves her foster's grandchildren and other dogs in the household.  She is friendly and sweet.  We signed Honey up for Housetraining 102 (the refresher course), and she is now doing well in that subject, also. If you love wrinkly dogs - you will adore Honey.  Honey is spayed, up to date with vaccines, and on flea/tick/heartworm monthly preventatives.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ Click here for the ADOPTION APPLICATION if you are interested in adopting this pet. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Mature lady looking for a committed relationship. Enjoys cuddles while watching TV and going for neighborhood strolls.Margo is a senior who came to us when her owner passed away.  She apparently had not been having a great life recently.  Margo was kept in a basement, was flea ridden, and was not fed and watered consistently.  Margo is in good health given her previous care.  She is now up to date with vaccines and is on flea/tick/heartworm preventative.  Margo is enjoying her cozy foster home, loving attention from her foster mom and going for brisk walks in the neighborhood. Margo is a velcro dog who has quickly attached herself to her kind caretaker. Margo becomes playful in the afternoons; rolling around on the floor.  She loves car rides and has been accompanying her foster mom on errands and visits.  Won't you consider adding Margo to your family so that she can continue to bask in the kindness of humans. She looks so much better since coming into our care.  The last photo was her curled up, sad and alone after her owner died. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ Click here for the ADOPTION APPLICATION if you are interested in adopting this pet.
