Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Rocky Road! This one-year-old pittie mix is as sweet as his name and always ready for his next adventure! Rocky loves heading out for walks where he can put his nose to work—especially when there are squirrels to investigate. &#239&#184&#143 He’s a friendly guy who enjoys meeting new people and makes fast friends wherever he goes. Rocky weighs about 40 lbs, making him the perfect medium-sized sidekick for hikes, road trips, and couch snuggles. He’s a big fan of car rides, games of fetch, and long naps after a good play session. When the fun is over, he’s more than happy to curl up and cuddle. He does well with respectful dogs and is crate trained (though he’s only been crated for short periods—about 3–4 hours on rare occasions). Rocky would do best in a home without cats or small children. He could also use a little polishing on his leash manners, but he’s a smart boy who will learn quickly! If you’re looking for a loyal adventure buddy who’s equal parts playful explorer and professional snuggler, Rocky Road might just be your perfect match. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ Click here for the ADOPTION APPLICATION if you are interested in adopting this pet. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Mashed Tater — but everyone calls him TATER! Tater hasn’t had the kind of start any dog deserves. He came to us in November as part of our “Thanksgiving Crew,” rescued from a home where he lived with nearly 16 other dogs. We were only able to bring six of the younger dogs to safety, leaving others behind—a reality that still weighs heavily on us. These dogs had never felt grass under their paws. They didn’t know what a collar or leash was. Their world was overcrowded, chaotic, and built on survival. There was no structure, no security—only a pack mentality where the strongest got by. Out of all of them, Tater carries the deepest emotional scars. He is not a bad dog—he is a scared one. When he feels overwhelmed or threatened, he can react out of fear. What he needs isn’t punishment—it’s patience, understanding, and someone willing to help him feel safe in a world that has never been kind to him. Tater is crate trained and house trained. He does well with other dogs and genuinely enjoys playing, though his style can be a bit rough due to his past. He would do best with a confident dog who can tolerate him while he learns appropriate play. He will need a home without children, and we are unsure how he would do with cats. ⭐️What Tater needs most right now is someone experienced—either a trainer or a dedicated handler—who understands fearful dogs and is willing to invest the time to help him grow. ⭐️He needs exposure to new experiences at his own pace, guidance to build confidence, and reassurance that he is safe. An in-home environment would be ideal, as a kennel setting may only increase his fear. ⭐️We are searching for someone truly special. Someone patient. Someone compassionate. Someone who sees past the fear and believes in the dog underneath it. Tater deserves a chance—not just to exist, but to feel safe, to trust, and to be happy. With the right person, we truly believe he can get there. Please don't wait.....if you have the experience and the heart to help him, please reach out. He needs you.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ Click here for the ADOPTION APPLICATION if you are interested in adopting this pet. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.UPDATE:  Ruby is making great progress -- she wasjoyfully running and playing with another canine companion this weekend.  Meet Ruby Jean ❤️ Ruby Jean is a 5-year-old, 16-pound red Cockapoo with the softest coat and the sweetest soul. After spending her life as a retired puppy mill breeder, Ruby is now searching for a patient and dedicated family willing to give her the love and security she’s always deserved. Ruby is quiet, gentle, and naturally cautious. She takes time to trust new people and situations, so her ideal home will understand the importance of moving slowly and allowing her to build confidence at her own pace. But once you earn her trust, Ruby truly shines. This little gem enjoys walking nicely on a leash and curling up in bed with her people at night. She is dog and cat friendly and will REQUIRE a calm, confident canine companion in her new home to help guide and reassure her. Older, respectful children would also be fine for Ruby. Ruby Jean may be a diamond in the rough, but for the family willing to invest their patience and love, the reward will be immeasurable. Beneath her timid exterior is a loyal, loving companion just waiting to blossom. Are you the special person Ruby has been waiting for? ❤️   Ruby is spayed, up to date on all of her vetting, and on monthly flea/heartworm prevention.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ Click here for the ADOPTION APPLICATION if you are interested in adopting this pet. Story
I raised Sasha from birth and she is a great dog! She's very affectionate and loves to be right there with you! It takes her awhile to get to know new people, but when she does she's normally fine. She is 6.5 years old, but still has so much energy! She plays fetch perfectly, knows how to sit, and is pretty much crate trained. She loves walks and swimming in any water she can find. ACA registered.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Snoopy (13) and Libby (14) are a bonded pair of senior sweethearts who recently lost their beloved mom, a dedicated member of our Haven to Home foster family. While they are being lovingly cared for, what they truly need now is a quiet, permanent home where they can spend their golden years together, surrounded by love. Despite their ages, both are in good health and remain fairly active. Snoopy still has a playful spark and often acts much younger than his 13 years. Libby, a gentle little soul, stays close by his side. They take comfort in one another, and it’s clear their bond brings them a sense of security during this transition. They are not fully house-trained, and Libby is currently wearing a diaper, but with a consistent schedule and regular trips outside, they are doing very well. Their caretaker has seen great progress with routine and patience. Both dogs are fully vetted—up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered, have had recent dentals, and are on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. If you have a soft spot for senior dogs, Snoopy and Libby will reward you with quiet companionship, gentle affection, and grateful hearts. Opening your home to them is not only giving them the comfort they deserve—it’s also a beautiful way to honor the memory of the foster who loved them so much.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ Click here for the ADOPTION APPLICATION if you are interested in adopting this pet.
