Story
Oakley has never bit anyone but can show aggression when In a scared situation, or being corrected. he was abused as a puppy. He is very active and energetic, house trained. .Loves being outside needs a lot of love, attention and outdoors. He would be good as an only dog. Our other dog and Oakley keep getting into fights especially when my husband is away. This isn’t fair to him and I don’t want it to continue around my 2 young kids putting them in potentially a harmful situation.

Story
Remi is an almsot 5 year old boy that is looking for a home where he can be alone with his people. He is stressed when it comes to kiddos, and has been with other dogs before but hasn’t in a while. Maybe with the right person he can live with other dogs but i’m not sure! He is the best boy and we have a little at home which is why we are looking for this guy a new home. We would love someone to love him just as mich as we do. :)

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Ryker is a handsome, friendly, silly pitbull mix.  He came to us through no fault of his own--his owner was no longer able to care for him. Full of puppy energy, Ryker needs an active owner or family who will channel his energy and keep him mentally stimulated.  A fence is not required, but would be preferred as he really needs a place to run.  He walks nicely on a leash.  Wiggly and happy, Ryker just loves attention and is good with other dogs and kids.  His energy may be a lot for little children, but older kids who will play ball and take him for walks would be awesome. Ryker is neutered and updated with vaccines and is on monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ Click here for the ADOPTION APPLICATION if you are interested in adopting this pet. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Peppercorn is a very sweet, loving dog who forms a very strong bond with his human. He wants to be with you, and would do best in an active household that can provide him with a higher than normal level of physical and mental activity typically needed by his breed types. He loves fetch, walks, and toys. He is very intelligent and responsive to training, curious and adventurous. He knows, sit, stay, lay down, and 'give me paw'. Peppercorn would do best in a household of older children (12+) who are able to read his body language and respect his boundaries, as well as provide him with firm instructions/boundaries and stop play if Peppercorn becomes too rough. His adult owners should be confident leaders and breed savvy about the temperament, needs, and stubbornness of Jack Russells and Miniature Pinschers.  Peppercorn is a very energetic puppy who is still learning manners when it comes to playing with other dogs. He generally does well with other dogs of all breeds and sizes if he is thoroughly exercised and engaged, however if bored/understimulated he will challenge both dominant and submissive dogs for play or their toys. His play style can become rough, and he should not be left unsupervised with other dogs until he has fully integrated into the household and understands/respects other dogs' thresholds. His foster continues to work with him on this, and his new home should be prepared to continue exercises to help reduce or eliminate this behavior. Any introductions to other dogs and children should be done slowly and carefully by adults. Peppercorn had a lot of instability in his short life, and also suffered from skin and digestive irritation due to suspected fleas/mites and/or allergens. Being constantly in pain made him reactive toward other dogs, and his humans when they tried to treat him. Now that he has established trust with his foster, he allows his human to easily give him baths, clean his paws, trim nails, and so on. For his first initial vet visits, the vet should apply a muzzle. His paws should be kept clean at the end of the day as the cause of irritation to his paws could still be related to allergies. This is a very easy routine that Peppercorn has now come to love, and he will fall asleep in his human's lap.  Because of the instability and level of constant pain/discomfort Peppercorn suffered, aversive training tools or techniques like shock/e collars, prong collars, etc. should NOT be used as that will make him anxious, insecure, and reactive.  Peppercorn should be kept in a crate when his humans are not at home, and should be fed separately from other dogs to prevent any food guarding/aggression while he is settling into the home and establishing his place. Peppercorn generally ignores cats, but will chase if one runs. Peppercorn is learning recall but his prey drive for wildlife is high, and so should never be allowed off leash unless in a secure area.'Peppercorn is up to date with vaccines, and on monthly heartworm/flea/tick meds.     Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ Click here for the ADOPTION APPLICATION if you are interested in adopting this pet. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.AVAILABLE  April 10, 2024April, May and June are 12-year old sisters who have never been apart.  They will need to be adopted together as they are very bonded and would be heartbroken to be separated. Their foster mom says they are easy to care for and get along with other dogs in the household.  All are up to date with vaccines, spayed, and will have had dentals before adoption.  Flea/Tick/Heartworm monthly preventatives are being given.  Get your application in soon for this sweet TRIO.   June has the cutest little underbite!  She is pretty friendly with strangers as long as they are gentle with her. She is very happy, active, agile and spry for a 12 year old. Every time her foster mom sits on the couch, June jumps on the couch, snuggles up close to her foster mom and makes a little grumbly sound until her mom pets her. If you didn't know her age, you certainly wouldn't guess her as 12! When a human isn't available, she snuggles with her sisters. They love to sit together on 'their chair'.   June is non-shedding, cat and dog friendly, pretty much house trained and sleeps quietly through the night in the kitchen with her sisters. Her ideal home will have a fenced in yard (she likes being outside - even in the snow!). She will definitely need practice leash walking.  June is the one on the left in the picture with 2 of them.  Due to  some spinal myelopathy June has some loss of bowel control and is unaware she may be leaving some 'gifts' as she walks outside to do her 'business'.      Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ Click here for the ADOPTION APPLICATION if you are interested in adopting this pet.
