Story

Theo is almost 5 years old. He is crazy, but lovable. He is nosey and will bark at anyone he sees outside, including little old ladies across the street. He also has no reservations about stealing food off tables, highchairs, and out of the trash. He is house broken, but will occasionally spite pee. He enjoys climbing into odd places and absolutely loves to snuggle. He is a bed hog, sleeping in between legs. He does not like carrides, but loves to run. He's great with kids, often just giving a little too much love. He jumps up when excited and will also jump up and lick your face if he knows you're upset. He will not let anyone touch his feet, so his nails have not been trimmed in years (vet also could not). Theo does have some serious separation anxiety and is constantly trying to run out the door, especially if it means a chance to run. He loves toys and treats and would thrive in a house with kids and other dogs, and where he has space to run. I just want him to be safe and happy.

Story

Eko is a sweet, lazy girl who loves to snuggle and nap. She is 5.5 years old and the only health problems she had experienced are a few ear infections over the course of her life. She was raised with her younger brother, Theo, from a different litter, and although they get along for the most part, she is not great with other dogs because she plays rough and could hurt them. She is also not great with small children because she doesn't entirely trust them and is protective of her food and space. She is house broken, but does have the occasional mess if she is not let out when she needs to be. She tends to eat and drink very fast and has made herself puke as a result on a few occasions. Eko would thrive in a single dog home where she has a corner of the bed to snuggle into and lots of quiet and love. I just want her to be in a place where she can be happy, healthy, safe, and loved.

She adores her people and has a soft spot for tennis balls - they’re her absolute favorite!Duchess is looking for a calm, low-traffic home where she can be the only pet. Meet Maverick!Maverick’s journey hasn’t been an easy one, but this resilient boy is ready to start his next chapter.He came to us as a stray, emaciated and with a severe leg injury. Despite every effort to save it, the leg couldn’t be healed, and it was amputated. But don’t worry, Maverick doesn’t let that slow him down one bit! This handsome tripod takes on life with heart and courage.Maverick can be a little shy at first, but once he warms up, he’s incredibly affectionate and loyal to his people. He’d do best with a family who understands that trust takes time and is willing to give him the love and patience he deserves. He’s open to meeting respectful, dog-savvy kids and could do well with another friendly dog companion. We think he may even do well with cats, with proper, slow introductions in the home.If you`re interested in meeting Maverick, he is located at the Pennsylvania SPCA Danville Center on Bloom Rd.
