Story
I bought Flower at a breeder in February of 2022. She is currently 4 years old. I would like to rehome her in a stable living environment since I think rehoming her is the best option for her. I will be moving out and need to find her a good home. She's very sweet, silly, loves the snow, loves walks, loves cuddling, loves her squeaky toys and stuffed animals. She will need consistent times of being let outside, so she won't have accidents inside the home.

Story
PLEASE READ ENTIRE BIO TO THE BOTTOM Opie and Pearl are 2 gorgeous chi/terrier mix pups that are as sweet as can be. Opie is the male and he weighs approximately 14 lbs. Pearl is the female, and she weighs right at 9 lbs. We believe they were born around September 30th, which will put them around 4 months old. We do not believe they will get much bigger than they are now as they have already hit their growth spurt. They are siblings but they are not bonded. One of our volunteers was driving down the road in Texas, by the Mexico border, when these 2 puppies ran out in the road and almost got ran over. They were not street smart. Our volunteer followed the puppies and found the home they belonged to. We found out these 2 puppies (and the momma dog) belonged to a couple who had gotten them for their adult autistic son. The puppies and mom had never seen a veterinarian, and they did not have a fence to secure them, so they would just open the door and let the dogs out to go running the streets and neighborhood. Thankfully, they agreed to surrender the puppies to us, but unfortunately, they would not let us have the mom. The mom weighed around 18 lbs. These pups are very sweet, and very submissive. They act shy, but once you baby talk them, they become jello and just start wiggling their butts, rolling over for tummy rubs and just melt. Pearl is a little more outgoing than Opie, but they are both learning to love humans. They love other dogs and get along great with them! They have met cats and do fine with them. They have toys and enjoy playing with them, but they enjoy mischief a little bit more. When they are in their crate, they think the best game is which one can pull more stuff into the crate from outside of the crate. Pearl and Opie love sleeping on the bed/couch! They are crate trained, and working on full house training. We recommend kids 5+ years for these 2 as they may shy away from younger children. If you’re looking for a smaller dog that doesn’t shed too much, enjoy being held, will be the most loyal companions and follow you everywhere and cuddle when you let them, please look no further than Opie or Pearl. These babies are FIXED (spayed/neutered), current on parvo/distemper vaccinations, current on bordatella, current on annual rabies vaccine, current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention, current on dewormer, microchipped, fecal test, will receive a clean bill of health from a veterinarian. To apply to adopt you can go to our website at: www.pawsitive-Impact-animal-rescue.org This animal is currently located in Texas, but we do NOT adopt animals out in Texas due to the hundreds of animals being euthanized here daily. We do adopt in Central US and the East Coast. The adoption fee listed INCLUDES transport from Texas to the location where this animal is posted in. Story
Arizona is a 4-month-old female pup that weighs approximately 16 lbs and has not had an easy young life so far. She was dumped in the desert along the Texas/Mexico border, where she had to find her own food, water and shelter, all while protecting herself against the freezing weather and bigger dogs/predators. After some time, she got into a gated RV mobile home park and took refuge under a shed. The neighbors started feeding her, so she at least didn’t go hungry until one of the neighbors complained, and the RV park said to get rid of her (typical). Arizona was scared and wouldn’t go to anyone, so a good Samaritan with a dog trap had to go out there and trap her to get her to safety to ensure she didn’t fall into the wrong hands. February 1st is the first time we think she was handled by humans as she is so timid and fearful, but so submissive and gentle. The foster says she is super quiet and hasn’t made a peep since she got her on February 1st. She flinches with noises and we think everyone always yelled at her probably to go away or swung at her to move, if she was trying to get food to eat or shelter to sleep under. Arizona is going through a lot of her firsts, such as she learned recently what a dog bed is and she is loving it! She loves her toys, especially kongs and toys with squeakers. She will sit with a toy in her mouth and just keep squeaking it repeatedly, unsure of what else to do with it. We know with time, she will learn to properly play with all of her toys. Arizona is learning how to walk on a leash, and it’s a working progress but she is learning slowly! We strongly believe another dog in the home to help build her confidence is a must, or if there is no other dog, someone that is home more than not, that can take her to socialize, properly train and be patient with her as she learns how to be a puppy. Arizona loves her crate; it’s her safe place. She loves other dogs and to reiterate another confident dog in the home to help her learn to be a dog would truly help her. Arizona will be a medium sized dog and would be good in an apartment or in a house with a yard. She needs someone who is patient and understands she will need lots of love to get her out of her shell completely. Arizona will be spayed, she is current on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention, and will receive a clean bill of health from a veterinarian prior to adoption/transport. Story
Theo is a gorgeous red and white boy that is a gentle giant. He is approximately 2 years old and weighs 72 lbs. Shockingly, Theo has been owned since a puppy, but his owner left on a “vacation” and never came back. The owner’s mom took over his care, but the gentle giant Theo is so submissive, all of the other dogs were bullying him to the point they were ganging up on him and attacking him. The new owner contacted us for help as her dogs attacked him so badly, he needed veterinary care as he was covered in blood and limping. We got him to the veterinarian where he received the care he needed, and we knew we could not put him back in that home, or death was imminent for him. So now, Theo is in a foster home, fully healed and now he is ready for his forever home! Theo is so submissive, gentle, kind and loving. He does not have a mean bone in his body. He would be wonderful with children of all ages because of how sweet he is. He is fostered with other dogs, and even though he was bullied and attacked, he still loves being around other dogs! He gets along with the smallest and biggest dogs. Please just make sure your dog or dogs are not bullies when considering adoption, as we do not want Theo to go through history again. Theo has met his current fosters kitties, and he does great with them. If anything, he is afraid of the kitties! He is house and crate trained. He is not a big fan of the crate, and you must give him a push to get in it, but once he is in, he sleeps through the night. We think even without a crate, he would do wonderfully sleeping on the couch or even your bed! Theo does amazing on a leash and would be great in a home that is calmer to medium active. He is not an overly active dog and is content with neighborhood walks or even just hanging out in the backyard. If you’re looking for a smart, loyal, calm, loving, and all around perfect boy, please consider adopting Theo. Theo will be neutered, he is heart worm negative, current on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention and will receive a clean bill of health from a veterinarian prior to adoption. Story
Aria, Bastian and Bailey are 12.5-week-old (est DOB 10/29/25) , beautiful shep mixes pups that were born in a drainage pipe in Texas. Thanks to some good Samaritans, these babies were able to safely be retrieved. Unfortunately, a wrecker yard owner nearby claimed mom and refused to let us help her too, but they did agree to let us take the puppies. The laws of Texas are unfair on animals. The mom appeared to be a sheepdog mix; dad is the milkman. We believe they will stay under 60 lbs once fully grown as their paws are not super big. We do not know if there were more puppies or what happened to them. The 3 pups that the good Samaritans were able to find, have been to the vet and are quite healthy! Aria -Female – Brindle/Black – 14 lbs as of 1/31/26 Bailey – Female – Brown/Black – 14.5 lbs as of 1/31/26 Bastian – Male – Black/Brindle – 19 lbs as of 1/31/26 These pups are fun, full of life and looking for their future adventure partners. They absolutely love their toys! They would love a whole toy basket of their own. They LOVE other dogs and are very sociable. They have the best personalities and are all around love bugs. They would make ideal dogs to go to dog parks, doggy daycare and just be around all sorts of dogs with no issues! Once they’re done playing, they love to cuddle. Working on house training and will master it with time. They are VERY smart dogs, be careful! They’ll outwit the best. These furbabies are quite active and would do best in a more active home. They would be WONDERFUL with children. SUPER Playful Gentle Very Happy Loves everyone and everything Curious Smart Affectionate Adventurous If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, friendly, gentle, super playful, adventure buddy, please consider adopting one of these babies. These 3 pups are FIXED (spayed/neutered), current on bordatella, have 3 sets of parvo/distemper vaccinations, current on the annual rabies vaccine, current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention, dewormed, microchipped, negative fecal, will have a clean bill of health from the veterinarian prior to adoption and includes transport cost from Texas to the East Coast.
