Meet Duchess!Duchess is a very sweet girl who needs some time to warm up to people. She would do best in a home with no other pets. A low traffic, adult only home would be ideal for Duchess since it takes some time for her to open up to new people. If you`re interested in meeting Duchess, she is located at the Danville PSPCA on Bloom Rd. -- open daily from 12:00 - 6:00 (no appointment needed - all people in the home required to meet the dog before going forward with adoption, along with any dogs in the home with proof of Rabies Vaccine & DHPP Vaccine) If you have any questions about her, feel free to call the shelter at 570-275-0340 or email us at Danville@PSPCA.org

Story
Meet Toasty! This young cattle dog mix is looking for a family that can be understanding of his rough start, and provide consistency and training to help him build confidence. Toast is timid and has missed key puppy skills and socialization along they way. He is also a high drive, working breed, and requires a lot of exercise. The right home for Toast would include a fenced yard and previous experience with the Cattle Dog breed.Toast enjoys playing with toys, working on training(he`s food motivated), and cuddling. He has shown to be a little too nippy for young children, so we are recommending ages 13+ for this guy. He has done well with cats in his foster home but is showing reactivity towards dogs. He may be able to have dogs friends but would prefer to be the only dog in the home at this time.If you`re interested in meeting Toast, he is located at the Pennsylvania SPCA -- Danville Center on Bloom Rd. -- open daily from 12:00 - 6:00 (no appointment needed - all people in the home required to meet the dog before going forward with adoption). If you have any questions about him, feel free to call the shelter at 570-275-0340 or email us at danville@PSPCA.org.Pennsylvania SPCA Danville Center1467 Bloom Road Danville PA 17821Kennel# 2909

Story
Meet Joy!Joy is a very sweet girl who originally came to us as a stray in pretty rough shape back in September 2023. After some much needed TLC at the shelter, she found herself a wonderful home. Sadly, Joy has recently found her way back to us after her owner fell ill and could no longer properly care for her. Joy is an incredibly sweet pup, and we are hoping her stay back at the shelter this time is short! She is open to meeting other dogs, cats, and kids of all ages.If you`re interested in meeting Joy she is located at the Danville PSPCA on Bloom Rd.

Story
Meet Silas!Silas came to us in January after being found tied outside of another local rescue. Silas can be a little timid with unfamiliar people, but once he warms up to you he is a total sweetheart. He is an active, vocal boy who LOVES playing fetch with tennis balls. We believe Silas`s ideal home would be one with teens and up, and no cats. Silas is open to meeting other dogs, but does appear to be somewhat dog-selective.If you`re interested in meeting Silas, he is located at the PSPCA -- Danville Center on Bloom Rd. -- open daily from 12:00 - 6:00 (no appointment needed - all people in the home required to meet the dog before going forward with adoption) If you have any questions about him, feel free to call the shelter at 570-275-0340 or email us at Danville@PSPCA.org.Pennsylvania SPCA Danville Center1467 Bloom Road Danville PA 17821Kennel# 2909
