Story
I adopted Lafayette and Kiki 2 years ago. They are from the same litter and amazing with each other and love to meet friends or run on the beach. Kiki is very shy and docile. Laffy is very sweet and curious. They play fight on walks and at home. They love their kennel and are house broken but take a couple weeks to get used to a new location. They are very quiet, Kiki is near silent. They are beagles and amazing with kids and curious and playful with cats. Kiki follows me around when I'm at the house, but Lafayette is very independent and will go find the sunniest room to catch some rays. Kiki is not very good at jumping on couches or bed, so I help her. But she's fine sleeping in her bed. They both take treats gentility or toys, and do not chew if I get them bones once or twice a week and walk them. Laffy is super cuddly and will stop at nothing to sleep next to/on you. Kiki is happy just being near you, but they both are very affectionate.

NOT 1 APPLICATION... How? Please share to help Joe. Someone wneeds to give him a chance. They will see this loving, goofy boy who is just scared to be hurt again. Imagine being Joe... Once in a home then the next minute in a highly rural shelter. Then almost a year later, yes a year, you are still in foster care!! Unfortunately a few foster homes since no one ever plans on fostering for that long...so you go where you are asked to go. Not 1 application. Not 1 click on petfinder. Still searching for love & his human A YEAR LATER. at the photos!!!!! Joe is who he is. He would rather sunbathe for hours and tan his golden skin than do any type of crazy leash activity, like walking!! Joe is just that dog who is amazing in a house, and one with a backyard. He's just unsure of the world when he goes outside (and in a way we can't blame him). He's a homebody. He's good with dogs. He will flinch if you pet him sometimes. He is who he is which is a big cuddle bear with a tongue that hangs out every chance it can. He's crate trained. He just is leash reactive but with a patient home, that could change. Who is a good match? - A retiree - A stay at home couple - A person who needs a companion to be home with - A home with a fenced in yard Apply to adopt rosierescue.org

Story
This puppy like 1-year-old girl was spared a horrific ending to her short life when a heroic person stepped up to drive to Columbia Animal Services and saved her life, 30 minutes before she would have been out down. Lilly Mae: Living with cats and other dogs (wants to ply with the cat) and loves them Living with kids all ages Smart and wants to please Is fearful at first but warms up very quick Needs to work on her jumpy / mouthy behaviors but again is more puppy like than anything Will follow you around the house and be your bestest side kick When it is time to go in her crate, she does so happily, and doesn't mind being in there. She absolutely loves to snuggle, when we sleep, she wants to lay her head right on my chest and be next to me. Lilly is definitely all puppy and a giant one at that. She definitely needs some obedience training. She has absolutely no spatial awareness and she just doesn't understand her size and strength. She barks at people or pretty much anything but settles down pretty quickly due to being fearful. She needs to know it's OK. She's very deep bark, and it sounds very vicious, but it truly isn't. Basic command reinforcement will be needed
