Story
Meet MaCherie Bonjour! Always admired the look of Great Danes but can't have a dog that large? MaCherie could be your gal! This young and playful mademoiselle is fully grown, about one year old, and weighs only 48 pounds. She is in perfect health, housebroken, good in a crate, and excellent riding in the car. She loves ALL her toys, going on walks, and sitting for treats. She balances her energetic side with her sweet snuggly side. MaCherie is always ready to cuddle with you on the floor or the couch, and gaze lovingly into your eyes. You can even "paint her like one of your French girls".* Well, maybe not, because she won't be able resist coming over to you for attention. You are her world! *That's for the fans of the movie Titanic. MaCherie is a quick learner who’s eager to please—especially if treats are involved! If you’re looking for a gorgeous, fun-loving, cuddle-craving companion, MaCherie is ready to meet you. Dog-friendly with a proper introduction. A little too rambunctious and powerful for young kiddos, but ages 6 and up would be fine! Not cat-tested. "Ma Cherie" means "My Darling" in French. She is all about connecting with you and being yours. Apply at www.rosierescue.org

Story
Meet Diesel, a one-of-a-kind, incredibly loving pup with a heart as big as his paws. He’s amazing with people and absolutely wonderful with children, greeting everyone he meets with gentle excitement and a wagging tail. Though he’s getting older, he still has a youthful spirit and never turns down a good adventure, whether it’s a car ride, a new trail, or simply exploring somewhere he hasn’t sniffed before. He’s a playful guy who enjoys his toys and knows how to entertain himself, but unlike most dogs, he could care less about squirrels or chasing critters, he’s got his own priorities. He is also impressively smart, picking up on routines, cues, and emotions with ease. Above all else, he’s affectionate, loyal, and full of love. Anyone who meets him can feel just how special and unique he truly is.

Story
Sebastian or Bash is 8 years, he has been with us since puppyhood. Hes a red Merle, super fluffy and cuddly. He is very active, needing a fenced-in yard and space to run and play. True to a shepherd, he loves to chase and jump. He doesnt nip at our heels but will try to correct you if you run off or leave the herd which can result in nipping-like behavior in certain occasions. He plays rough and shakes toys or his bed and wants to play tug of war. Bash is very sweet and overly excitable but can be too rambunctious for kids or some adults. He takes his protector job very seriously and will bark at noises, or people around the house or at the door. He knows many tricks and learns quickly when prompted with treats. He does well on leash but will try to chase squirrels. He is fine with some dogs but does not like others- its not clear why. Bash would do best in a home with older kids or adults that can give him daily exercise, play and love and keep up with consistent training

Crab Wonton is super sweet and loving. She gets excited with new people and could use some additional training as a puppy. She loves other dogs and calms with other dogs. She relaxes and is good sleeping on her own until you get up in the morning. Can be in a crate or left out. House trained.

Story
Hoping to find the perfect new home for our sweet puppy 🐾 We rescued Rooster about four months ago, and he’s been such a sweet addition to our family. Unfortunately, we don’t have the space that he needs to thrive. He’s an energetic, playful pup who would be happiest with a yard or an active family that can give him lots of exercise and attention. Name: Rooster Age: Approximately 7 months old Breed: Possibly Lab mixed with Whippet Size: Around 40 pounds Health: Up to date on vaccinations Training: Potty trained (mostly — except when he gets really excited 😆) and learning new commands quickly. He is crate trained and sleeps through the night. Personality: Rooster absolutely loves people and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He is playful, FULL of energy, and eager to please. He loves to run, go for walks, and picks up training quickly. Rooster has been such a great pup and we’re heartbroken to let him go, but we know he will be a great addition to a family!

Story
Kobe is a high-energy, classic Weimaraner—built for long walks, runs, fetch, and dog parks. He’s great with kids and loves mixing it up with other dogs. True to the breed, he’s vocal in a charming way, “talking” with a soft whine when he’s hungry or wants attention. He doesn’t enjoy being left alone and may bark if solo for long stretches. Otherwise, he’s a total lovebug who believes he’s a lap dog. Kobe would make an excellent addition to an active family—and an even better best friend to someone who needs one.
