Nugget's Story Nugget's Story Nugget recently went through a big life change when her beloved elderly owner passed away. While her heart is healing, her capacity to love hasn't faded one bit. She spent her life being the loving companion of her owner and she is looking for a new home where she can be your best friend and enjoy her final years. Nugget is 9 years old, an indoor dog, house-trained, and shared a house with small and medium size dogs. Nugget is extremely calm, and was known as the keeper of peace in the house. She is currently still in the home with a neighbor taking care of her and her sister. Nugget has so much love left to give. She has lived a life full of kindness, and we want to make sure her golden years are just as bright. Story

Carly & Yuki's Story Meet two sweet 8 month old little bonded girls, Carly and Yuki, approx 20 pounds. Carly, black collar, came to foster 3 months ago, nearly paralyzed with fear, she still hides part of the day, usually squeezing under a chair. Yuki, pink collar, was included in the household a few weeks later to hopefully help with Carly's fears, she has helped greatly, and has blossomed herself. Both girls still hide with visitors. They lived the first few months outside in their previous lives, so a house was a new experience. They are 90% housebroken now, due to the help of a doggie door and a fence-in yard. Yuki walks with a harness and leash, but Carly has currently said that is not a skill she is interested in. They both came to us teething and foster mom Linda said chewing has been a definite challenge she has had to watch out for, but otherwise they have come a long way. Joe Cocker's Story Joe is an 8-year-old gentleman who has mastered the art of relaxation. He is a "velcro" dog who thrives on being near his humans, following you around to ensure you are safe, and then curling up for a long nap on a soft bed. He is not a fan of being confined, preferring to roam freely (and hes earned that trust!), but he is perfectly behaved, non-destructive, and house-trained. He is a wonderful gentleman who is good with children and people of all ages, dog friendly, house trained, and loves attention. A fenced-in yard would be a bonus , but its not a must have. He has a way of getting into everyones heart, and his tail never stops wagging. Meet Lady! I am a 3-year-old black lab. I am in Foster in Knoxville, Tennessee from Texoma Dog Ranch Rescue in Texas. I was stressed out at the Dog Ranch being in kennels all the time and around a lot of loud dogs so I was lucky enough to find a foster here in good old Tennessee. I am a really sweet 💕and smart girl. I am 54 lbs and I have been spayed and fully vetted. I know some basic commands and I am house and crate trained. I have been in my foster home for a little over a month and I have really started coming out of my shell... oh and by the way I am dog friendly as my foster has two little Daschunds. I would do well in just about any home but preferably without younger children since I am only 3 with energy and might accidentally bump into one. I would absolutely love a home that was active and could take me on lots of walks and have a nice fenced yard. 🏡 I promise I am a kind gentle soul and will love you forever. 🥰 I was rescued from a shelter a day before I was supposed to be euthanized 😳 due to space so I know I have a purpose for someone out there. 😇 For more information on me please email texomadogcoordinator@gmail.com.
