He is 8–9 years old, a mixed breed with traits of rat terrier, husky, and border collie. Malone is a devoted companion who wants nothing more than to be near his human, enjoy peaceful walks, and settle into a predictable daily routine. Malone does best as the only pet in the home. He has a strong herding and working-style personality and prefers not to share his space with other dogs. He would truly thrive with someone who understands smart, sensitive dogs and can provide a structured but gentle home where he can relax. He is fully house-trained, knows basic commands, and settles beautifully once he feels secure. Lucy is 3 yrs old. She is house trained and has been fixed. Her owner (my dad) passed away May of this year. I am unable to keep her due to my living arrangements. She still lives in my dad's house and we make multiple trips daily to spend time and care for her til we find a good home. She needs to be the only pet and someone retired or working from home would be perfect. She has been through alot and has separation anxiety. She is lonely and would be a great pet. She doesn't do well with other animals. She has never been around young children so we don't know how she would do around them. She is sweet and just needs a loving and forever home. We didn't want to take her to the pound but that may be our only option. We would work with a new family as long as it takes to get Lucy comfortable and accustomed to a new environment. She is very loving and loyal.
