Story
Deacon is a loyal, intelligent, and deeply devoted, 6 y/o, English/American, Choc/ Silver Labrador who forms strong bonds with his people. When comfortable and secure, he is affectionate, enjoys being close to those he loves, and is content to spend much of the day relaxing nearby.Deacon thrives with routine, structure, and clear leadership. He is not a first-time dog and needs an experienced owner who understands focused, assertive dogs. He has a strong prey drive, can become overstimulated in busy environments, and does not do well with children or teens. Because of this, we are seeking a calm adult-only home with limited visitors. He has known allergies that require a controlled diet and is prone to yeast-related skin issues, but his overall health is excellent when managed properly.Due to significant health changes, I am no longer physically able to provide the level of care Deacon deserves. Our priority is finding the right home where he can thrive and enjoy the best life possible.

Story
Looking to find a loving home for my sweet girl, Remi. ❤️ Remi is an absolute doll who loves cuddles, blankets, and being as close to her people as possible. She’s a big ball of energy and love and has no idea just how big she is! She has a goofy personality, loves attention, and will quickly become your best friend. Unfortunately, I recently moved, and was unable to bring her with me. The person who was going to keep her for me until I got settled is no longer able to do so. Rather than having her bounce from house to house, I would love to find her a stable, loving home where she can get the time, attention, and care she deserves. Remi is spayed and up to date on all of her vaccines. This is a very difficult decision, and my only goal is to find the right home for her. If you or someone you know may be interested, please reach out so we can talk and see if it would be a good fit.

What Makes Me So Special Millie Jo is a ball full of energy and could use a fenced in yard or lots of walks. She is quite well trained for her crate and runs in it after going out. She enjoys balls but men not so much. In fact, we don't recommend men to be around Millie. She obviously was mistreated by a man. She would be most comfortable with a Mama only, someone who lives a quiet life with not much company. Millie could be your company!   The Basics Age: approximately 2.5 yr Weight: 19 lb. Story
Hello, my name is Barbie Anne, or as my foster mom affectionately calls me, Barbie Girl. My favorite thing in the world is belly rubs. I’ll happily lie there for hours if you give me a good belly rub. My foster brother, Rudy, is my best friend. He’s my size, and we’re inseparable. However, my other fur siblings are much larger than me. My foster dad calls me “baby girl,” and that makes my heart swell with joy. I’m protective of my territory and my foster family. I may bark and growl, but don’t let that fool you; I’m a gentle soul. I require slow introductions to people, as I have a lot of energy and love to run and play. My mom gives me medication to help manage my anxiety, and I’m doing very well on it. However, I would do better in a home with fewer people coming and going. I get very nervous and react by barking, urinating, and growling. It takes me a minute to warm up to humans. My life took a sudden turn when my owner passed away, and they didn’t find us for a few days. We were then placed in the Memphis Animal Shelter, where we stayed for two weeks before being rescued by a rescue organization. When I get overstimulated, I need to be in my crate in a quiet, dark room. I’m a fluffy toy destroyer, so I love chewing on my super chewer toys.  Please give me a place to call my forever home.  Biography BiographyName: Barbie AnneAge: 2 1/2 years oldWeight: 22Spayed / Neuterd: yesMicrochipped: yesVaccine up to date: yesOn Heartworm prevention: yesOn flea and tick prevention: yesHouse trained: I do have little accidents. Crate trained: yes, however I like to pee when I’m excited. And I get excited every time my foster parents come home from work. Leash skills: does well on a leash but gets excitedMedical: N/ALikes/Dislikes: belly rubs are her favorite. Barbie loves car rides. She dislikes chaos and people approaching her fast. Toys: she loves toys of all sorts. She is a stuffy destroyer. Other animals: does ok with dogs her same size. She is standoffish with big dogs. People / kids: scared of new people. You have to approach her slowly. Car rides: loves to ride in the car. Separation: does well in a crate. May cry at first but settles quickly. Contact Application: Questions: foster mom - Teresa Andrews931-539-6244andrews.t1973@gmail.comCurrent Location: Erin, TNAdoption fee: $265Ready to apply to adopt: Visit www.bostonterriertn.org           ##2202321##

Story
Lilo is a beautiful female 2 yr old Boston Terrier with a gentle heart and an old soul. She is the kind of companion who simply wants to be by your side through every part of the day. Whether you're relaxing at home, doing chores, or taking a walk, Lilo is happiest when she is with her people. Lilo has a loving, loyal temperament and forms strong bonds with those she trusts. She enjoys quietly following beside you and keeping you company wherever you go. Her calm and affectionate nature makes her a wonderful companion for someone looking for a devoted best friend. In addition to her sweet personality, Lilo is a confident little lady who takes life's challenges in stride.  She handles thunderstorms well and doesn't let loud weather shake her calm demeanor. Her steady, easygoing nature makes her a reassuring presence and a joy to have around.  Lilo needs the home body that wants the constant companion. She needs to be an only dog due to wanting to have all the attention and be the one and only. An older retired couple or someone working from home would be a good home for her. Lilo being mushy face means summer walks for her would not be recommended. Lilo is ready to find her forever home and share her gentle spirit with a home who will cherish her as much as she will cherish them. The BasicsAge: 2 Weight: 17.6Spayed/Neutered: yesMicrochipped: yesVaccines Up-to-Date: YesOn Heartworm Prevention: YesOn Flea/Tick Prevention: YesHouse-Trained: YesCrate-Trained: YesLeash Skills: SomeMedical: AllergiesLikes/Dislikes: Like being right beside her people.  Likes to eat.   Toys: Not interested.Other Animals: only Dog is best. Story
Captain Blue Eye, affectionately known as Capo, is a purebred Boston terrier male with one blue eye. He weighs 29 lb. and is 7 years old. He is a sweet boy and loves people He was first rescued from a shelter with his breeding partner by some nice people who have a Boston male. Captain ignored the resident Boston except  to steal his toys:) The female of the pair picked fights with him and he defended himself, but he did not start it.  Capo is presently in foster care and we would love for him to have a home of his own.  Perhaps one or two other dogs would be fine, but Capo would need some alone time to decompress before introducing him slowly to his doggy housemates.  Capo does like to run when it is cool (6:30 am and just before dark) he has issues breathing in the heat. He loves to play and he gets along with the two male dogs in the foster home that are about his size and they are submissive. He does not get along with small dogs. He loves a kiddy pool with water and he loves a water hose and sprinkler.  Captain is neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines and is on heartworm prevention. He did have heartworm disease when he first came to us, but has been treated and is now heartworm negative. He has seen a cardiologist and has no heart damage from the infection. He is house-trained, but marks, so he has to wear a belly band while inside.  Captain Blue Eye is presently in Milledgeville, GA. For questions, call his foster mom, Dana, at 478-232-2882. His adoption fee is $450 which includes microchip registration.. ##2536700##
