Story
Please contact Adoptions (adoptions@thalppc.com) for more information about this pet. Natalie is an 8 month old lab hound cross arriving to us as an owner surrender due to housing issues and sadly, Natalie was the one who was forced to part ways with her home and family. Sweet Natalie arrived to us a little too thin and a bit too submissive for such a young pup. We were happy to welcome her as she had never received any vet care or vaccines in her previous home.  It took Natalie a couple of days to acclimate to her new surroundings but this little lady has the time of her life all day, every day! She loves shelter life! Natalie has made friends with a couple of our other dogs and they play from the moment we let them out in the morning until it’s time to settle in for the evening. She is a social butterfly and ADORES the company of other canines! Natalie is also a lover of all humans, children included, and is curious of cats but in a non aggressive, non confrontational way. She is a bundle of energy and an abundance of nonstop joy. This girl has made the sweetest lemonade out of lemons and can handle any curveballs!  Her favorite things are squeaky toys, Nyla bones, and any and all treats. She has also gone on hikes with volunteers and everything was brand new to her - all of the sights, all of the sounds, she did wonderfully and loves car rides too.  Natalie is the happiest dog on the planet and we love her infectious and spirited demeanor. She would thrive with an active person or family that will show her a life full of adventures and activities. She possesses a lot of puppy behaviors that we are working through such as jumping to greet people and energy diversion when introducing herself to people and dogs but she is making up for a lot of lost time she spent cooped in an apartment where she did not receive much attention and exercise.  Natalie will stay on the petite side weighing 35-40 lbs and she would love a home with another dog she could learn the ropes from and become best friends with. She has brought us daily smiles and laughs but she is missing out on the good life with her own people who will embrace her and treat her as the companion she so desperately wants to be.  Natalie is vaccinated, has filled out beautifully, and will be spayed and home ready soon. She is heartworm negative and up to date on preventatives. Who is ready to make this sensational, freckle faced cutie their new bestie?   The adoption fee is $125which includes a free veterinary exam within 2 weeks of adoption at local participating vets, up to date vaccinations, test for heartworms & heartworm preventative medication, dewormer, flea preventative, microchip, & spay or neuter. We're open Wednesday - Sunday 12 - 5 p.m but doing adoptions and meet & greets by appointment only.  If you are seriously interested in adopting please fill our our online application here: https://bit.ly/3HN4Tqq Check out our website at https://www.petplacementcenter.com/    December 20, 2022, 12:13 am

Story
Please contact Adoptions (adoptions@thalppc.com) for more information about this pet. Bruce is a 5 year old German Shepherd/Husky mix relinquished to our care as his owner was moving and could not obtain housing that would allow her dog. He was adopted from a local animal control facility 4 years ago and was an amazing companion over the last few years. His owner kept him up to date on vet care and preventatives so Bruce is in great health and is turn key ready for his next adventure. Bruce has done exceedingly well under our care and impressed us as well as our dog trainers in his obedience and commands. He sits, shakes, knows down, and does not jump on his humans. While large at 80 lbs, he gets along amazingly well with both large and small dogs and has been socialized with both. He is a “dog park dog” and would do well with social outings in his next home. Bruce is 100% housebroken and kennel trained. He will enter his kennel with the command “house” and keeps his kennel spotless. He loves toys, playing tug of war, and just being around people and other dogs. He has not shown any aggression towards cats but did not reside with cats so a careful introduction would be required. Bruce adores children of all ages and has proven to be a wonderful, loyal, and adaptable boy. He has handled the stress associated with an abrupt life change like a champ and we absolutely adore him! Bruce has a beautiful coat and a unique blue spot in one of his eyes. He is an all around “good boy” and he is ready to live his best life with a person/family who will commit to him for the long haul. He requires no training, possesses no bad habits, and is patiently waiting for his freedom ride!   The adoption fee is $125 which includes a free veterinary exam within 2 weeks of adoption at local participating vets, up to date vaccinations, test for heartworms & heartworm preventative medication, dewormer, flea preventative, microchip, & spay or neuter.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Lean and low Butterscotch is gentle by nature, but is a surprisingly fast runner. She will run at full speed around the yard and veer away from you at the last minute. Butterscotch is a bit shy at first and seems to prefers humans to other dogs; Would do best in a home where she is the only dog. Once her energy is out, Butterscotch likes some quiet time and a gently ear and chest scratch. She would probably love to watch TV with you at the end of a busy day. Who wouldn't?
