Story
EuGe is a 9 year old Maltese Terrier cross. He came from a home where they couldn’t care for the dogs any longer. He gets along great with other dogs. He isn’t sure about cats and sometimes barks at mine. He’s a great companion dog, follows me and sits beside my chair. He is passive but playful when stimulated. He’s the perfect little laid back gentleman for a quieter home. He’s leash trained and will use pads. His Vetting is complete: neutered, all vaccinations, flea tick heartworm prevention, dewormed. He has medium length hair but has a shorter summer clip right now. Email arkofcleveland@aol.com or call 423-472-2744.

Story
Kevin might just be the kind of dog people write books about. According to his foster (who would adopt him in a heartbeat if they could), Kevin is one of the sweetest, happiest dogs to ever grace a couch. He's easy to care for, rarely barks, and truly just wants to be wherever his people are.Kevin has a great balance of energy: he'll bust out some joyful zoomies like a puppy, then happily settle down like the mature gentleman he is. He's smart and eager to learn-he picked up "sit" for treats quickly and enjoys having his brain engaged. When it comes to play, Kevin is gentle and polite. He loves toys but doesn't destroy them, may occasionally borrow a shoe (don't worry-no chewing), and even when he could absolutely dominate a game of tug, he graciously lets the smaller dog win. We love a humble king.Personality-wise, Kevin is what we'd call a confident "go-with-the-flow" type. He's not pushy or dominant, but he's also not shy-he's comfortable being himself and letting life unfold around him.Kevin has done wonderfully with every dog he's met and would likely thrive in a multi-dog home. He has met cats and is very curious about them-he may chase if they run, but it appears to be curiosity rather than aggression. With slow, supervised introductions and time, he could potentially live successfully with cats.He is crate trained, comfortable staying in his crate overnight and when his people are away, and keeps it clean. With a consistent routine of morning and evening walks plus regular potty breaks, he's well on his way to being fully housebroken. As always, introductions to existing family members should be done slowly and over time. Appointments are not required for adoptions!Kevin is in a loving foster home, email bspcafoster@gmail.com if you would like to meet him.
