Story
Ariel is the star of the show, and has been dubbed a "cat-dog" more than once- she is not a fan of baths or water, only wants to cuddle if she initiates, and loves a tummy rub. She is a very sweet pup that was very high energy in her prime but she is now 8 years old and has since settled down in her golden years and has shifted from a "runner" to a "foodie" :) unfortunately with a new baby, even though Ariel is excellent around her we just don't have the capacity to give her the time and attention she deserves and its causing some puppy blues 😔... its been a very difficult decision but we just want to do whats best for her and hoping to place her in a loving home thats able to be more involved and devote the time to her we weren't able to

Story
Roscoe is the biggest cuddle bug you will ever meet. Very versatile in his activities, he will be a couch potato when you are binge watching your favorite shows, but will go outside for hours at the drop of a hat- he loves hiking, running through any body of water he can find, and will play fetch with a ball until your arm falls off. He is a super chill fella (with the occasional zoomies) and is the sweetest most gentle and loving pupper you'll ever meet. We are hoping to find a loving home for our sweet boy he has been great with the new baby but we haven’t been able to devote the time and attention to him since we both had to go back to work 😔its been a very difficult decision but he deserves to be with a family where he can thrive

Story
Adopted Daisy May 6 weeks ago from shelter. She was emaciated and needed good nutrition and Vet care. She got this from us and now she is healthy and fit. However, due to our advanced ages and my health issues, we can not keep her. She is too much dog for us. She is 53 lbs, microchipped, spayed and up on shots. She walks on a leash and enjoys hiking. She knows a few tricks. Good appetite. Is a pretty girl.

Story
Miss Molly Mae is ready to find her forever home. Molly is a beautiful 6 1/2 year old red tri Australian Shepherd with a full tail. She is being fostered in Soddy Daisy, TN. Molly found herself in need of a new home due to her previous owner's declining health. It was a very hard decision for him but he knew that it was in Molly's best interest. ASF was contacted and immediately stepped up for Molly. Unfortunately, once Molly came into rescue, it was determined that she was heartworm positive. A treatment plan was set into place and she has now completed her treatment and has a clean bill of health. Yay Molly! Molly is a very laid back girl and the ideal home for her would be one very similar to what she had with her previous owner... quiet and comforting. She is content spending her days right at home. A fenced in yard and a porch are definitely a plus! She enjoys roaming around the yard watching the wildlife and then will lay on the porch taking it all in. While inside, she will lay in her bed (or on the couch if allowed) next to you and be perfectly happy! She is totally fine being an only dog, but would also be ok with another laid back furry friend. She is such a good girl and so eager to please. Molly is spayed, current on all vaccinations, on heartworm prevention and microchipped. If you are looking for a new companion and feel your home would be a wonderful place for Molly to land, please complete our adoption application with the link provided. https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to her new furever family.

Story
Maple is a 2.5-year-old French Brittany who packs a whole lot of charm into her perfect 25-pound frame. Her foster family lovingly calls her “Meatball,” and honestly…it fits. She’s adorable, goofy, snuggly, and absolutely devoted to her people. Maple LOVES car rides, plush toys, and curling up next to you for belly rubs. She didn’t get much freedom or enrichment in her early life and likely spent most of her time in a kennel, so she came to us needing a refresher on potty training and some basic house habits. She’s made steady progress but still needs a patient family willing to keep her routine consistent. She can be a bit curious and may check out items that aren’t technically “hers,” so keeping tempting things out of reach and offering plenty of dog-safe toys will set her up for success. Maple does well in her kennel when her people are out of the house. She may give a little protest bark at first (she just has to make sure you know she has notes), but she settles down and rests quietly once she realizes she’s safe. Maple is not a dog that can live with or closely interact with other dogs. Through training, she has made progress in calmly seeing dogs at a distance with positive reinforcement, but pushing those interactions too quickly can cause anxiety for her. For her comfort and safety, she must be an only dog, and a fenced-in yard (ideally privacy fenced) would suit her best so she can explore and enjoy the outdoors stress-free. She’s playful, affectionate, and incredibly people-oriented. Maple has mastered “sit", and is working on more tricks, but needs a little patience since she isn’t very food motivated. Maple is spayed, current on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Now she’s just waiting for a family who sees how special she is and can give her the structure, love, and dog-free home she deserves. Maple is currently in foster care in Wisconsin and has an adoption donation fee of $400.  If you are interested in adopting her and have been approved to adopt, let your state coordinator know you are interested in her.  If you haven’t yet done so, please go to: https://www.nbran.org/adopt/adoption-application to fill out an application.  Your state coordinator will contact you and take you through the approval process.  If your application looks like a possible fit for her, your coordinator will contact Maple’s coordinator and continue the screening process. Maple’s state coordinator is Hallie Barbara. She can be reached at Minnesotabrittany@gmail.com for questions or inquires.   Thank you for considering this sweet girl.  December 15, 2025, 9:27 am

Story
Hi there! My name is Nugget, and yes… I’m just as adorable as my name suggests. I may be small in name, but my heart is BIG and full of love I am a healthy 43 lb 4 yr old orange/white neutered male. UTD on vaccines, heartworm and tick neg, and on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. Crate trained, rides well in the car, and I want to be your loving companion. I have a tail to wag for you to show you how happy I am. I’m a happy, affectionate pup who loves being near my people. Whether it’s following you around the house, soaking up belly rubs, or wagging my tail just because you looked at me, I’m all in. I enjoy playtime, sniffing around the yard, and then curling up for some well-earned cuddle time.  I’m learning what it means to feel safe and loved, and I’m doing a great job! I just need a forever family who will be patient, kind, and ready to spoil me with toys, treats, and lots of affection. A fenced yard would be amazing so I can zoom, explore, and keep an eye on any suspicious squirrels &#239&#184&#143 If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal best friend who will love you with their whole heart, I might just be your perfect little Nugget Love, Nugget &#226&#156&#168 The adoption fee for OK/Nugget, who lives in Tulsa, OK  is $400,  which helps to offset our vetting and allows NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful family members.  If you are interested in making OK/Nugget part of your family, please complete the online application by visiting www.nbran.org .  Please let your state coordinator know so we can get the ball rolling.  Also, please email the state coordinator of OK/Nugget-Melinde Waddle @ macgammy@gmail.com  Once approved by your state coordinator, I will setup talking to the foster of Nugget. Transportation can be arranged up  to 1400 miles with the adopter being responsible for at least the last 100 miles.  February 7, 2026, 11:46 am
