* Thank you for your interest in adopting a dog from Little Dog Rescue. Our dogs come from a variety of sources and backgrounds. They are all in need of adopters that have patience, an understanding of where these dogs have come from, and that there will be an adjustment time when they transition into their forever home. This can include learning basic commands, walking on leash and potty training. Some dogs will pick up on your routine and expectations faster than others. Potty accidents will happen. We find that positive reinforcement, consistency, and routine from the adopter achieves the best results. We are a small, all volunteers team and give 100% of our efforts towards doing right by these pups. We are often juggling many responsibilities at the same time and do our very best to process inquiries and applications in a timely manner. We do prioritize inquiries that have a submitted application on file through the Little Dog Rescue website. We do our best to accurately assign breed designations, however we are unable to guarantee 100% accuracy. Sometimes we only have the dogs appearance to go on. Our adoption fees are thoughtfully considered. The adoption fee is not a purchase price for the dog. It is a fee that is designed to support the overall work of our rescue. Highly desirable dogs and puppies are intentionally listed with a higher adoption fee. This is done to help offset the enormous medical expenses we incur when taking in older pups and special needs medical dogs whose adoption fees do not come close to covering their expenses. In addition, the vast majority of our dogs are brought in from out of state and incur transport fees along with their medical and acquisition costs. We ask that you take all of these things into consideration, and we look forward to finding a great match for your family. *Please note that adoptions for our adult dogs will occur after their scheduled Spay/Neuter surgeries.

Oki is a goofy 10 year old French Bulldog who is looking for his forever partner to cuddle up next to. He is a laid back guy and loves to relax with his human pretty much around the clock. Oki’s world revolves around his person and we want nothing more than to find someone who can give him the love and attention he deserves. Oki had a rough early life and came to us as a rescue with pretty severe separation anxiety - because of this, his perfect home would be someone who is retired or works from home. He loves car rides and wants to be by your side anytime possible. Oki loves people, but needs to be an only child (in a home with no other dogs or young children) – he resource guards and has gotten aggressive with other dogs in the past. She will be 3 in June so still has some puppy energy, but she is a very good listener. All Delta wants is her people, she loves being petted and will let you know when she needs that attention. She is a clinger; she will follow you everywhere. She is potty trained and will use the doggy door, so she has the freedom to go when she needs to. She is also crate trained, she sleeps in her crate and will reluctantly go in when you need to leave her. She is very treat focused so treats are used when she listens, going in her crate for the night and any other time. Also, for fun, since she will sit and run for them as prompted. No health issues at this time, she came in with a rectal polyp that was removed and tested. She was also fixed at that time. She gets along with other dogs, more like she isn't bothered by them she does her own thing, will play once in a while but really all she is about is you. Delta would do great in a home where people are around, she sleeps and will play most of her day. There are toys everywhere so if she wants, she can play and take them to bed or lie next to you and squeak away! Hello, we got our puppy in Japan in 2018. He was born in October 30, 2017. Short walks are recommended because he does run out of breath. We had him get the surgery to expand his nostrils and help with breathing. All the essentials will be provided.

She is currently healing from some pretty severe urine staining, which we can only assume she spent most of her life in a crate and most likely used to breed. Those days are over, sweet girl! It didn't take long for her to win the hearts of a handful of Bulldog Haven NW volunteers and her foster family. She is just the most gentle and loving dog. She is quickly picking up her new routine from her foster fur siblings. It's a life of lots of walks, snuggles and love. Due to her skin infection, we will need to wait for her skin to heal to proceed with spaying her. She will also need to be evaluated for soft palate and nares surgery to help her strained breathing. Thanks to your kind and generous donations, we will be able to get her the treatment she needs.

Charlie Mistermeanor is a French Bulldog/ShihTzu mix. DOB 10/2/2022. He is a sweet boy who is compact but heavy like a tank (25ish lbs) and is unintentionally a little too rough for my littlest 5yr old 8lbs & 11lbs chihuahuas Rex & Ruex. Charlie loves to snuggle but also can have a lot of energy especially around other dogs. It might be best he be an only dog for awhile. He has a funny personality and will probably bootie bump you for some back scratches, just above the tail is his favorite. He loves kids but again needs to learn his size and to be gentle. He doesn’t bite but does love to nibble and lick fingers and sometimes toes too 🤣 Charlie is not neutered, as I try to wait till they are at least 2 years old. we tried for over a year but the adjustment period never went away and I realize I love Charlie but a different environment would be better for him, my 3 other dogs and myself. He has the cutest face and the oddest coat I have ever seen on a dog. 🙏
