She has been patient and has been loving towards kids as young as 3 years old, She loves learning new things and going on adventures. She is crate trained for bedtime and mealtimes, and will stay patiently in a sit/stay until released with an "okay!" to eat. She lets you know if someone is at the door but has otherwise been quiet while inside. She has shown to understand basic commands including; sit, down, wait (to be called), stay, touch, watch me, and leave it. She has been fairly leash-polite, and is overall happiest when with her people. She can be assertive, and has shown to get along best with dogs that are laid back and non-reactive. She has chased cats, but has not shown aggression towards them while in her foster care. She would love an active family that enjoys hiking, and that will continue to challenge her with new commands and training. Her adoption donation is $300 Most dogs require a fenced yard. Story
Sweetheart rescue is house broken, crate trained, loves (often demands) attention, and will be your shadow all day. She is odorless with a beautiful coat. We did a lot of training when I adopted her three years ago at age 2. While she is very excited and distracted, she knows verbal commands for sit, lay down, stay (30-60 sec), crate, toy, off, and find it as well as hand signals for sit, lay down, and stop/wait/stay. A family of people and dogs at home to interact with really calms her, as I see during holidays with extended family. Rover boarders love her playing with their dogs, cats and kids. She is relaxed around young kids if they are dog confident. Soothes with bully sticks and soft toys she can mouth and squish. It’s just me at home and she needs a family. She has typical anxious energy of a German Shephard but has never chewed things up. She counter surfs and nosy w/ garbage. She races (lunges on leash!) to meet new friends and then fawns. She is always anxious to be greeted.

PLEASE DIRECT INQUIRIES AND APPLICATIONS FOR ADOPTABLE DOGS TO OUR FACEBOOK. WE ARE CURRENTLY UNABLE TO PROCESS APPLICATIONS VIA EMAIL DUE TO LIMITED STAFF. OUR CONTACT IS THROUGH FACEBOOK MESSENGER. https://www.facebook.com/REDRescueEveryDog/ Meet Snickers! This big, handsome boy came to RED from a high kill shelter at the request of shelter staff who loved this amazing boy. Snickers is believed to be a Dane x Shepherd mix with a DOB in 2020 or 2021. Snickers is a big boy standing at 26" tall at the shoulder. Despite his size, he is incredibly kind and wants to please. He walks well on lead, and is learning all about basic obedience such as sit, lay down, etc. In foster care Snickers has met other dogs and done fine with them. He has shown to be house broken while with us. Snickers is looking for a home with a fully fenced yard with tall fencing. He also is looking for a home where either he will be the only pet, or he would share with another dog. Snickers would do best in a home that is looking to invest the time to help him become the amazing dog we know he can be. He is smart and would love to learn all about being a good boy for his people, as he seems to not have been gifted with much training in his previous life. He wants to please and be someone’s best friend. Despite his kind nature, due to his size we are looking for a home with older children or an adult only home. This great boy is ready to find his person, or persons that will adore him as we do. Snickers adoption donation is $400 to help cover his transport, vetting, health certificate, etc. Most dogs require a fenced yard. We seek fully fenced yards with a physical, visible fence.
