Story
Oba has been with me since he was 10-weeks old. He is a very good boy and the mellowest and sweetest dog ever. He is in good health and shape for his age. His rear haunches are getting stiffer as he is 10yrs old. He is on Cosequin for the past year. He still bounces around and likes to play like a puppy. Oba loves to go on hikes and play in the stream and rivers. He is cool with humans, always curious, then a bit afraid. I call him the best fake guard dog ever, as he barks like a fool, looking over his shoulder, running the other way. That said, he is NOT good with other medium and large breed dogs. Old, long-haired Goldens he may be ok with, but he gets somewhere between snarky and outright nasty with other dogs - especially German Shepherds, Huskies and any other breed that kills animals. He is good with cats, so long as the cat is good with dogs. He will want to play and is curious with them. Small dogs he is fine with, so long as they are neutered. Foster to adoption ideal

Story
Sweet Phoebe.  She so desperately wants to be brave and is making great progress in her foster home in Colorado Springs.  We know that her inquisitive spirit will win in the end, she just needs a litte more time to find her courage.  Phoebe gets along well with other dogs and is just about house trained.  She loves to chew on bones and can often be found snuggling with her foster mom's socks.  "Pheebs" doesn't mind hanging out in her crate for a little while but really prefers to be near the human of her choice.  Phoebe is looking for a quiet adult only household, preferably someone working from home who will allow her the time to come out of her shell.  We promise it will be worth it! ##2084023##

Events are held each Saturday from 12 pm to 5 pm at our office: 2721 W Oxford Ave., Suite 6 Englewood, CO 80110 *In order to protect our puppies, we do not allow puppies to attend open events until they have a minimum of two vaccinations. Puppies who are available, but not listed on our weekly Facebook event, are considered "deposit only" puppies. These puppies will only attend the event IF they are reserved through a deposit. You can check the list of puppies attending the open event by checking the event: https://www.facebook.com/MAMCORescue  At MAMCO we understand that in order to continue rescuing moms and babies, we must stretch our finances as far as we are able. For this reason we use variable adoption pricing. By assigning higher adoption fees to high demand moms and puppies, we are able to rescue more families in need. The money raised through these adoptions acts as a benefactor to moms and puppies in our care who require expensive veterinary treatments, have behavioral issues, or need more time to find a home. We often reduce the adoption fees on these harder-to-place moms and puppies to help them find forever families. Adoption fees vary. Applications can be filled out at mamcorescue.org. Unless otherwise stated, all of our dogs are mixed breeds. We never guarantee the size, breed, or temperment of any of our puppies.  ##2078374##

Story
My name is Josie. I am a 103#, spayed, 2 yr old female Pyrenees. I’m so excited to find my perfect forever family! I came into the shelter in TX when my owners moved into an apartment and couldn’t take me with them. I was lucky to make it out and land a foster family here in CO! My foster parents call me “cuddle bug”. My favorite activities include going for walks to sniff all the things, roaming the backyard, and snuggling with my family! My foster mom is helping me to learn I can snuggle but still respect the personal space of everyone. I just get so excited! I enjoy hanging out with my other foster siblings. I like both the cats (although one doesn’t like me so I avoid her). The other dogs are super tiny next to me (chihuahuas) but I’m gentle and like lying with them and eating treats! And I loved my Pyr foster brother but he has been adopted. I would really love another friendly playful big dog in my new home so preference will be given to a home with another playful dog! I am still true to my Pyrenees traits of being stubborn, independent, and I take careful watch over all my home! I am housebroken, utd on vaccines, chipped, and HW-. I require a 6’ wooden enclosed fence. I have not been tested with kids but an older respectful child should be ok. If you are interested in meeting me, the first step is to complete the meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. My adoption fee is $375 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado.  June 23, 2024, 8:03 pm
