Sweet Phoebe. She so desperately wants to be brave and is making great progress in her foster home in Colorado Springs. We know that her inquisitive spirit will win in the end, she just needs a litte more time to find her courage. Phoebe gets along well with other dogs and is house trained. She loves to chew on bones and can often be found "snuggling" with her foster mom's socks or shoes. She sleeps quietly on her dog bed at night and is leash trained. Pheebs doesn't mind hanging out in her crate for a little while but really prefers to be near the human of her choice. Phoebe is looking for a quiet adult only (older teenagers ok) household, preferably someone working from home who will allow her the time to come out of her shell. Events are held each Saturday from 12 pm to 5 pm at our office: 2721 W Oxford Ave., Suite 6 Englewood, CO 80110 *In order to protect our puppies, we do not allow puppies to attend open events until they have a minimum of two vaccinations. Puppies who are available, but not listed on our weekly Facebook event, are considered "deposit only" puppies. These puppies will only attend the event IF they are reserved through a deposit. For this reason we use variable adoption pricing. By assigning higher adoption fees to high demand moms and puppies, we are able to rescue more families in need.The money raised through these adoptions acts as a benefactor to moms and puppies in our care who require expensive veterinary treatments, have behavioral issues, or need more time to find a home. We often reduce the adoption fees on these harder-to-place moms and puppies to help them find forever families. Adoption fees vary. Applications can be filled out at mamcorescue.org.
