Puppies who are available, but not listed on our weekly Facebook event, are considered "deposit only" puppies. These puppies will only attend the event IF they are reserved through a deposit. For this reason we use variable adoption pricing. By assigning higher adoption fees to high demand moms and puppies, we are able to rescue more families in need.The money raised through these adoptions acts as a benefactor to moms and puppies in our care who require expensive veterinary treatments, have behavioral issues, or need more time to find a home. We often reduce the adoption fees on these harder-to-place moms and puppies to help them find forever families. Adoption fees vary. Applications can be filled out at mamcorescue.org. Miss Jalapeno is just the most loving little pup. She is just as happy giving cuddles as she is playing with the young child and other dogs in her foster home. This sweet girl had a rougher start as she was hit by a car and sustained injuries to her hind end. Soon after arriving, the rescue had x rays done and they are currently waiting for a specialist to review. Don't let this info deter you though, she is able to live a wonderful and active life and is one of the happiest girls you could meet. Her favorite things include snuggles, treats, playing with her foster family and swiping stuffed animals from the 5 year old girl in the home. For potential adopters in those areas, we can do a virtual visit using FaceTime or another app. Just request an appointment using the same link, but note that you want the visit to be virtual. We will call you at the time of the visit once it is confirmed. For long distance transports to Colorado and Iowa, there is an additional $100 fee to cover the cost of the transport ($65) and a health certificate from a veterinarian ($35). For transports to St. Louis, the additional fee is $50 to help cover gas. Going that last mile home for our sweet pets!
