Story
Daisy, great pyrenees, female, 9 yo, 95 lbSweet Daisy was surrendered by the breeder because she was not fit for breeding any more. She spent her life in a kennel with a dog run and was quite cautious at first to go cross country in our big yard. Now she enjoys the freedom to run and the smell of rain and grass. Good with dogs. She is super sweet, calm and a little shy at first. She would love to be part of a family at last. She is our favorite and brings lots of joy to everyone she meets! Daisy needs a fenced yard with least 5' tall fence as she can run very fast and far. Adoption fee $325. If interested, please submit an adoption or foster application at https://www.sanNicolaDogRescue.comJuly 8, 2024, 5:53 pm

Story
Meet Clyde - he is about 15 months old, he is a big, beautiful guy (140 pounds), with a calm demeanor and a gentle soul. While he was bred to be a livestock guardian dog, the owner's ended up not having livestock, and brought him to live inside but Clyde had his rein over a 35-acre farm during the day. As such, he's not a true farm dog but will want land/space to roam and protect during the day. He loves snuggles and cuddles and is great with kids, cats and most other dogs.  We are working on him NOT climbing into laps, but you can see from the pics that's a work in progress!   Clyde does NOT do well with another male dog in the house - so we recommend he goes to a home as a single dog or with another female ONLY. His desire is to be a calm, quiet alpha male. He is potty trained, recently neutered and ready to find his forever home. His owners were forced to give him up as they were moving to the city unexpectedly for medical treatment. Clyde is not meant to be a city dog. To learn more about Clyde, his foster parent is available to talk about this special guy.  Put in an application at eapl.com His adoption fee is $375July 18, 2024, 8:40 am

Story
October is a 1 year old Great Pyrenees. Her birthday is 3/18/2023. She is the sweetest dog and loves cuddles and any type of affection. She loves to play outside and always has the zoomies. It breaks my heart to have to post her, but she has recently started showing signs of treating my senior cat too aggressively and unfortunately we can't keep her in these conditions. She would do the best in a home with other dogs (she loves our dogs), but possibly no cats or with cats who like to play. She has never attacked our cat, but she has started darting after him in a manner that is a little too playful/aggressive for us and for him. Our rehoming fee is $400 OBO because we want her to go to a really good home that will treat her with all of the love she deserves. She comes with a large crate as well. She is crate trained and house broken. Please only reach out if you plan on keeping her living indoors. She is a big teddy bear and needs to be treated like a baby. Thank you!
