She is a sweet, playful, cuddly dog who gets scared easily and prefers to stay close to her people. She is fully crate trained—her crate is her “bedroom.” She goes in with the command “bedroom” and waits for “release” before coming out. She sleeps in her crate at night and stays there when we’re gone. She’s great with kids and friendly with other animals. She wants to play with cats but doesn’t always know how, so she needs supervision. She sometimes tries to herd our kids, which is natural for her breed. She may nip when excited, and we are working on that. She knows “wait” for her food and won’t eat until we say “eat it.” She is still learning manners around doors (may try to run out) and people food (needs reminders to lie down during meals). She is very loving, goofy, and thrives on being close to her family.

Meet Samuel - the chillest, softest, cuddliest polar bear you have ever met! He has a wonderfully calm demeanor and is most happy relaxing on the couch with his people or another dog.Samuel is very easy on the leash and never pulls, although he does need a little encouragement every once in a while. He wants to be curious and brave, but sometimes the world can still be a little much for him. While he can be a little shy at first, he warms up quickly and is a fantastic lap dog and sweet kiss-giver. He sleeps perfectly through the night and is mostly potty-trained, just has the occasional accident if not let out soon/often enough.
