Story
Lulu is a 3-year-old Colorado Mountain Dog or Great Pyrenees mix.  Lulu is a sweet, sensitive soul who loves to hang with her people. She is gentle and patient. House-trained, kennel-trained, good in the car, and well-behaved on leash.  Lulu would do great as an only dog or with an older companion. She tolerates but does not appreciate the antics of her puppy foster siblings. Lulu has a gentle yet big personality. She will “talk” to you with her little whines and occasional bark (if you’re not listening to her). She really enjoys walks, even though she has a big yard to play in and prefers to nap the day away on a soft bed. Her spay is scheduled. Put in an application at eapl.com Her adoption fee is $375 July 15, 2025, 8:59 am

Story
Meet Grizwold – A Loyal, Well-Trained Great Pyrenees Looking for a New Home Grizwold is a sweet, loyal, and affectionate Great Pyrenees who has been a big part of our family. He’s been professionally trained in two separate 8-week programs and responds very well to commands. He loves to cuddle, is always thrilled when you come home, and has a way of making you feel safe, protected, and loved. Grizwold can be leash reactive, especially with new dogs, but he improves with calm handling and time to adjust. He doesn't necessarily need a farm, but he would do best in a home with space, structure, and someone who understands large, protective breeds. He’s incredibly loving

Story
We adopted Abby from a shelter in Corpus Christi, Texas over a year ago and moved to Colorado in Dec. We have spent that time growing her hair back in as it was very thin when we adopted her, and giving her the best home possible. She is up to date on her vaccinations, microchipped etc. She is very calm sweet and relaxed around the house, She does get excitable when she knows its the time of day for her usual walk and even playful. She is great with people and kids. However, it is important to know as a guardian dog, they are very protective of the yard when it comes to other dogs. She is not great with other dogs until she has had plenty of time to get to know them. She is currently taking Apequel for an itch she is having per veterinary direction. She is a fantastic dog, if we had a work schedule and house/yard more suitable, we likely wouldn't even be considering this. Our goal is to find a home for her where she can get the attention/living situation she deserves.

Story
Milo and his Mum Monica (we're guessing) were found on the streets of the Rio Grande Valley with tons of other dogs. Milo is a playful puppy. They are both super sweet. They don’t fight over food or treats, and are completely in harmony with each other. They currently use a dog door and have no accidents in their kennel. Both are fully vaccinated, fixed and heartworm negative. Milo and Monica are currently in waiting in the RGV in Texas for a committed adopter or foster to call them up to Colorado for new lives! ##2451965##

The four puppies of the Junk Yard were living with other dogs in a junk yard outside of El Paso, Texas. They are 3.5-4 months old Great Pyrenees mixes, all very sweet and are very social with other dogs and people (workers at the junkyard, a person feeding them and her friend, several adult dogs living at the junkyard). New to rescue... more to come! The puppies have received 2 DHPP vaccines + rabies thus far. The pups are arriving in Colorado next Sunday, May 25 or Monday, May 26 and still need foster homes (along with many of the other litters we have). ##2404254##
