Story
Get ready to swoon when you meet Mr. Boone! This stunning Great Pyrenees/Labrador Retriever mix is 1.5 years old and a cuddly 56 pounds of love. Boone was rescued from a kill shelter in Swainsboro, Georgia, and he is so happy for his second chance at life thanks to HFGDR. Boone has the most unique and lovely tricolor brown, black, and white fur, but we are most fond of his two-toned face and perfectly kissable nose spots.
Boone fits the very classic definition of a gentle giant. He is a little shy at first but is very friendly and loving, and he quite enjoys being around others and making them smile. His kindness shows through his big soulful eyes and he loves so very hard. He longs to be loved in return by a forever home that will keep him safe and show him how joyous and happy life can be.
Boone is working on his leash walking skills and loves to go for walks where he can explore all the sights, sounds, and smells of the outside world. He would do well in a home with other dogs, cats, and kids, and he is just so happy to be around the safety and comfort of kindness. What are you waiting for? Boone is neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and microchipped.

HFG Dog Rescue is a 100 percent foster-based rescue located in Berkeley Heights, NJ with a sister location, The Almost Home Wellness Center, in Aiken, SC. All of our dogs are rescued from kill shelters in SC + GA and once ready for adoption live in loving local NJ foster homes until they find forever families of their own. Our fosters begin basic training, housebreaking, and leash-walking skills to help pair you with the perfect pup for life!
