Story
Located in NJ - we are currently looking for a foster or preferably adopter for these 2 gorgeous 5 month old brothers. They get along but since young can find loving homes separate or together. They are friendly with people and if introduced properly fine with other dogs and cats. They will lick the cats they have been with but the cats aren't interested in making friends. They are about 32 lbs now but are great pyrenees mix, so they will most likely be close to if not over 100 lbs once full grown. The breed is known for their intelligence and needs mental stimulation, play time and exercise daily. They will require brushing to keep their coats healthy and glowing. They can be a bit stubborn so ongoing training a must, once older known for their calm and patient dispositions. They are up to date with vaccines, microchipped, on heartworm and flea preventative, house trained and crate trained. Since they are puppies they are trained to sleep in their crates and are very good boys. They share their toys, there is no resource guarding. They will eat treats gently out of your hands. Hades - brown ears - better of the 2 on leash walks but needs more guidance. Loves to be bathed and dried. Zues - black stripe mask on face - learning to walk on leash needs a bit more practice. Not so thrilled with baths but doesn't mind the dryer! His fur is a bit longer and beginning to curl some. If you are interested in adopting or fostering please fill out application below. Pet Adopter Form (We are having technical issues with our dog form still so using cat form below until resolved) https://form.jotform.com/242335064937156 Foster Form https://form.jotform.com/242611029596155

Story
Meet Thunder – Your Gentle Giant! Thunder is a majestic 2 year old, 97 pound Great Pyrenees with a heart as big as his paws. Calm, loving, and playful, he’s the perfect mix of independence and affection. He enjoys having his own space to snooze in but is always ready for a cuddle with his foster mom or a game of chase with his foster dad. Thunder is potty trained, walks nicely on a leash, and is a quick learner especially if treats are involved! He loves his daily walks and exploring the yard watching the birds. While he’s generally chill, some basic training would help him keep growing into the amazing companion he’s meant to be. He’s been around reactive dogs and handled it like a pro, so we think he might enjoy having a calm furry sibling to hang out with. Thunder would do best in a home with a fenced yard where he can roam freely, relax, and share life with his humans. Thunder is currently being fostered in Milltown, NJ. His adoption fee $475. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
