If you would like a specific dog to be featured on our show, please email us at info@greatpyreneesrescuesociety.org. **  Sir Kingsley is a majestic, confident dog with all the loyalty and independence that make Great Pyrenees so special. Born around December 2022, he’s a devoted companion who bonds deeply with his people and takes pride in being their one-and-only. Sir Kingsley is looking for a home with Great Pyrenees experience—someone who understands the breed’s intelligence, guardian instincts, and need for thoughtful leadership. With the right guidance, he thrives and becomes an incredibly steady, trustworthy partner. He would do best as the only pet, allowing him to fully settle in, focus on his humans, and feel secure in his space. Sir Kingsley also needs active owners who enjoy regular exercise, outdoor time, and providing both physical and mental enrichment. In the right environment, Sir Kingsley is loyal, attentive, and a truly special dog who will stand by your side through everything. If you’re experienced with Great Pyrenees and looking for a devoted, one-pet companion, Sir Kingsley may be your perfect match. If you would like a specific dog to be featured on our show, please email us at info@greatpyreneesrescuesociety.org.** Meet Humphry—a sweet little lovebug with the soul of a poet. As the biggest pup in his litter, you might assume he would be the rowdy kid in the bunch, but Humphry’s the one quietly taking it all in—like a little philosopher in fur. While his siblings bounce and tumble, Humphry is often found taking in the world with curious eyes, as if he’s making sure he doesn’t miss a single detail. Born in May 2025, Humphry is the kind of pup who’d rather give you a soft puppy kiss than wrestle for the spotlight. He’s a certified snuggler, happiest when he’s curled up in your lap and soaking in every hug and kiss you’re willing to give. Calm, sweet, and irresistibly cuddly, Humphry is proof that the biggest paws can belong to the softest soul. Whoever scoops up this little cutie is in for a lifetime of puppy smooches and loyal companionship. Humphry will need obedience training as he gets older and mature. There is a lot for a puppy to learn and like all small puppies, he will need someone who can be home with him a lot and provide him with love, patience and boundaries to help him become a loyal companion. He loves the companionship of other animals and requires another dog in the home to act as his mentor as he continues to understand the rules of his new world. ADOPT HERE: Complete an Adoption Application for your Pyr-fect new family companion at https://gprs.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=6206. PUPPIES ARE ONLY PLACED IN HOMES WITH YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL RESIDENT DOGS WHO ARE AT LEAST 50 POUNDS. Our requirements for puppy adoptions are simple and necessary. Our puppies are not livestock guardians, they are family pets that live inside of the family home. Puppies must be placed in homes with a youthful, adult resident dog of similar size. This gives the puppy a mentor and a solid foundation for becoming part of the family. Puppies are only adopted to homes with someone at home at least part of the day. If no one is home for 6-8 hours at a time, please do not apply. Preference is always given to those with Great Pyrenees experience. Applicants must have secure, visible fencing and a socialization plan in place. The fastest way to be considered for a puppy is to fill out an application. Adoption is not first come, first served. GPRS and its fosters work diligently to find the right fit for each and every unique dog and puppy. Applicant’s personal pets must be current on vaccines & heartworm/flea prevention and be altered. Adoption fee: $450 (Adoption fee includes spay or neuter, distemper/parvo vaccines, flea preventative, deworming, and health certificate for travel). Adopters pay the cost of transport services outside of Texas area. Transport costs depend on location and company used. Northeast transport fee is $200. If you would like a specific dog to be featured on our show, please email us at info@greatpyreneesrescuesociety.org ** Meet Lady  Lady is a 7-year-old female Great Pyrenees with the gentlest soul and so much love left to give. After sadly losing her human mom, Lady found herself needing a new beginning when the family was unable to keep her. Her foster family say she is truly something special. Once she knows you, Lady will reward you with the sweetest little kisses and happily soak up all the pets and scritches you can offer. She was recently groomed and the groomer absolutely adored her, saying she was wonderful to work with from start to finish. Lady has settled in beautifully with the foster's dogs and has become especially good friends with GPRS alum Laura. She enjoys a couple of short play sessions each day. She also LOVES walks — though “power walking” is not exactly her style  She’s more of a slow-and-steady strolling companion, perfect for someone who enjoys peaceful walks and taking in the scenery. In the house, Lady is an absolute dream. She’s fully potty trained, non-destructive, respectful of furniture, and perfectly content relaxing nearby. She does bark occasionally, as Great Pyrenees do, but it’s not excessive. She simply likes to let you know when something catches her attention. Lady should be fed separately, which has been easy to manage. She takes treats very gently and shares water bowls without issue. She’s also quite smart and true to her breed — she’ll inspect fencing carefully to see if there’s any weak spots or wiggle room, though she hasn’t attempted jumping or climbing. She could thrive as an only dog or with a canine companion, big or small. She’d likely do best with dog-savvy or older children. Cats are still a question mark — she shows interest in chasing them on walks, so a cat-free home may be safest unless introductions are done very carefully and slowly. Lady is the kind of dog who forms deep bonds. She’s loyal, loving, calm, and quietly devoted. Whoever opens their heart and home to this beautiful girl is going to gain an incredibly special companion.
