Story
Meet Brick! The name pretty much sums up this little baby. He's a strong, sturdy pup with a heart of gold. Brick is friendly, affectionate, loyal, playful, smart, and curious - he's basically the perfect companion! He's also funny and loves giving kisses, so you'll never be bored with this little guy around. While he's still a baby, Brick has shown that he's already a brave little pup. He is great with other dogs, cats and kids! He is current on all his vaccines, microchipped and dewormed! Brick was rescued from a very bad feed store/flea market where he lived in a wire crate. He laid on wires day and night. His mom was a beautiful medium haired very large Great Pyrenees and his dad was a VERY large long haired Great Pyrenees. He is going to be a big boy! So anyone who decides to adopt this guy, just make sure your prepared for big wet slobbery kisses! If you're looking for a furry friend who will stick by your side through thick and thin, Brick is the one for you! Now just imagine all the adventures you could have with this adorable pup. So why wait? Apply for Brick today - he's just waiting for his forever home and can't wait to get his paws on you!

These pups lost their mom and have been bottle fed since birth. They are said to be Great Pyrenees/Rat Terrier mixes. They are beautiful, sweet and friendly! At this age, they are cat, dog and kid friendly. These pups have received their first two DHPP vaccines and were treated for puppy parasites so far. Story
Bailey is almost 1 years old, spayed and the best girl. When she was younger, living in an apartment was ok but as she continues to grow into her Pyrenees qualities, it is adamant that this girl needs lots of land or even better..a farm. She is up to date on all shots, she is groomed every 2 months and she loves life. She currently lived with her brother who is a lab/pit mix and gets along with every dog and human she's met so far. Cats have not been tested. She is smart, house trained and crate trained. She does have some anxiety but seems to calm down quicker than when she first arrived. She is stubborn for sure but an absolute LOVE and will listen to her owner. Please reach out with any questions.

Story
Is that Cloud 9 you’re floating on, or did you just meet Odin? This big Great Pyrenees boy is 83 pounds of fluff, love, and pure joy. Odin is 3-years-old and was rescued from Windsor, South Carolina. His long white coat highlights the touches of grey and tan on his ears and face. Odin is very fluffy and does love his visits to the groomer, and he’d love to live in a cooler climate where he can relax and enjoy life indoors and out. Don’t let those gorgeous, introspective eyes deceive—this boy can be a bit of a chatterbox and quite enjoys talking about his day. We think he’s an old soul who has a lot of life stories to tell. Odin would be great in a home with kids, and he does well with other big dogs. He is a large breed and would appreciate another big friend to hang out with. He gets short bouts of zoomies, but really, who actually wants to run when you can just nap? Odin is the cuddle bug of your dreams. When you aren’t busy binging the newest summer reality shows with him, Odin would be happy to accompany you on walks through the neighborhood or around town. He’s so handsome and fluffy that people are naturally drawn to him, so expect to draw some attention when you hang out with this stud. During his many naps, Odin dreams of a family who will give him the love and attention he deserves. Won’t you bring this gentle giant home and give him the world? Odin is neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and microchipped. **Please note: completing an "adoption inquiry" via Adopt-a-pet/Petfinder does not constitute an HFG Dog Rescue adoption application. All adoption applications must be completed on www.hfgdr.org** HFG Dog Rescue is a 100 percent foster-based rescue located in Berkeley Heights, NJ with a sister location, The Almost Home Wellness Center, in Aiken, SC. All of our dogs are rescued from kill shelters in SC + GA and once ready for adoption live in loving local NJ foster homes until they find forever families of their own. Our fosters begin basic training, housebreaking, and leash-walking skills to help pair you with the perfect pup for life! In order to apply for adoption and set up an individual meet and greet with one of our dogs, please visit us at www.hfgdr.org. Find us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/HomeForGoodDogRescue.
