Meet Roscoe, a delightful fellow picked as a stray on 5/8 to the Mesquite Animal Shelter. Roscoe weighs 80 lbs and is approx 4 years old. He is listed as a Great Pyrenees mix. I ran his pictures through my Dog Scanner app and the possible breeds in his mix are Mountain Cur, Kangal Shepherd, English Pointer, American Staffordshire Terrier. Whatever is in his breed mix, he has the best personality! He walks OK on a leash. He was absolutely thrilled to be released from his kennel and run about in the shelter yard. He ran, romped and lept around the yard! It was fun to see him enjoying the sunshine and grass beneath his feet! Roscoe likes to be petted. He is confident and outgoing. He would be thrilled to pieces to find himself a second chance in life with people who would stay committed to him and allow him to be an integral part of their lives. That can best happen by allowing him to live indoors and interact and socialize on a daily basis with his peeps.

Hi! I'm Helen! I'm an approximately 1 year old, 60 Lbs., female, Great Pyr/Lab mix. I was found with a friend on Clark Street in Rockwall on 04/22/2025 and never reclaimed. I am learning to walk on a leash and am working on crate training. I am looking for a family who has plenty of time to train me on all things it means to be a loved, family companion. I enjoy the company of other dogs and love to run and play. I love spending time with people! I especially enjoy snuggling up on a big, comfy couch with my loved ones. If you have another pet in the home, a meet and greet is encouraged to make sure we get along. My adoption fee is $125. I am spayed, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination, basic boosters, and I'm heart worm negative! If you are interested in adopting me, please submit an online adoption application at https://rockwalladoptions.com/adopt.../adoption-application/ Once submitted, RAC will be in touch with next steps.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX.
