Story
Trip had to have his leg amputated as it healed improperly after it was broken while he was a growing puppy. However, he is one of the happiest, silliest boys you could hope to meet. He lives with lots of other dogs and is a favorite playmate for most of them - he loves all his canine buddies and is fine around cats. Trip loves all humans he meets and would be a great addition to any home looking for a playful, outgoing dog. He is mostly crate trained and will ask to go outside, however he has not been up longer than overnight without a potty break. He does not get many chances to go for car rides but enjoys it when he can. Trip is fully vetted - current with all vaccines, on heartworm and flea/tick prevention, neutered and microchipped.

Story
From the moment we met Hank, he stole our hearts by flopping onto his back for belly rubs. His gentle eyes and wagging tail tell you everything you need to know about this lovable boy. Two years later, he's still that same affectionate sweetheart who lives for ear scratches and cuddles! He's the perfect balance of playful and relaxed. After his daily walk and tug-of-war session (his favorite!), he's happy to spend the rest of the day by your side. Hank is incredibly well-trained, mastering heel, sit, stay, place command, perfect leash manners, and never getting on furniture. He’s wonderfully quiet, doesn't chew, and has impeccable house manners. Since he hasn’t been socialized much with other dogs, he’d do best as an only pet in a calm adult home where he can feel secure. Looking for a loving home where Hank can get the love and attention he deserves!

Story
Meet the “Trailblazer” Litter Found abandoned in a box on a quiet country road, these tiny fighters were barely weeks old, their eyes just beginning to open to the world. With no mother in sight, they were cold, hungry, and in desperate need of care. But despite their rough start, they’ve already shown resilience, strength, and a spark of hope—just like the iconic Black women they’re named after in honor of Black History Month. These pups have a long road ahead, but with love and care, they’ll soon be ready to find their forever homes. Each one carries the legacy of strength and perseverance, proving that even the smallest can make the biggest impact. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application, please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.

Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. According to Wisdom Panel, Axel is primarily Great Pyrenees (44%) and Australian Cattle Dog (33%), with a mix of Maremma Sheepdog, Greyhound, Labrador Retriever, Kuvasz, Komondor, and American Eskimo Dog. Axel is one year old and weighs 74 lbs. He is potty traine and kennel trained—though he needs a little encouragement to go in, but he settles in comfortably once inside. He is shy when he is in a new situation or when he meets new people, but it does not take him long to get comfortable. He is good with other dogs, but has not been introduced to cats. If you are interested in adopting, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org  *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 3 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows paid by cash, a check made out to Rescue Row, Venmo: @Rescue-Row or at Zelle: info@rescuerowinc.org Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee Meet Axel and Diesel! These two boys were found wandering alone in Oklahoma, where a Good Samaritan spent over three weeks feeding them and earning their trust. Despite efforts to find their owners, no one came forward. Wanting to give them a better future, the Good Samaritan’s parents made the trip to bring them to North Texas. A vet visit confirmed that Axel and Diesel are about a year old, not microchipped, heartworm negative, and now up to date on vaccinations. They’re scheduled for neuters on Monday, and a DNA test is underway to learn more about their breed mix. Axel currently weighs 71 lbs, while Diesel is 56 lbs. After a week in their foster home, here’s what we’ve learned: Axel – Friendly, playful, loves belly rubs, enjoys companionship, sweet-natured, and smart. Diesel – More reserved, quiet, gentle, and intelligent with a sweet disposition. We’re excited to watch these two settle in and will keep everyone updated on their journey! Story
Axel is a 4 year old super loyal cuddly boy. He likes to make friends with animals outside- like birds and squirrels. Axel enjoys walks and balls that he can chase. His favorite time of day is dinner time, or when you come home. We love Axel and wish we could keep him, but unfortunately he won’t get what he deserves in our new home. We would like to find him a loving home.
