Story
Merlin, like his name, is a wizard when it comes to getting out of normal fences. He is used to living on a big plot of land with very high fences. He is very sweet and is a fantastic guard dog, monitoring the land for any visitors. He has been with his bonded pair, a Morgana his whole life (about 5 years) and they love to play together. The ideal home would have no other dogs, a secure fence with room to roam and room for his bonded pair Morgana as well. I’d really want them to stay together.

Story
Hi, I’m Mister! I’m a 2-year-old Great Pyrenees mix weighing about 62 pounds, and I’ve got a big heart to match my big personality. I get along wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and kids, and I’m known for being playful, confident, and gentle. I walk politely by your side on a leash and love toys, attention, and exploring new things. I’m curious and independent but always happy to be part of the action. I’m still working on my house training, but with a little patience and consistency, I’ll get there in no time. If you’re looking for a fun-loving companion with a confident personality, I might just be the perfect fit for you.

Story
Hi, I’m Pearl. I’m a 7 year-old Great Pyrenees mix with a calm, gentle nature and a heart full of love. I get along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and kids, and I’m already house trained and well behaved. I’m affectionate, quiet, and I walk beautifully beside you on a leash. I’m a true couch potato who enjoys peaceful days, soft places to nap, and steady companionship. I’m independent but loving, easygoing, and the perfect fit for an elderly couple or someone looking for a sweet, low-maintenance farm dog. I’m ready to bring comfort, loyalty, and calm to my forever home.

Story
Molly was found at around 8 weeks old on the side of the road and we took her in. She got along well with our other dogs but unfortunately my wife and I were expecting in the near future and we were unable to keep up with the energy of a puppy as well as keeping a newborn entertained. We want to find a loving home that she can run around and play like she deserves.

Story
Meet Pup! This handsome man is a two-year-old, 57 lbs Husky/Great Pyrenees mix. He was surrendered to a city shelter by his owner but fortunately, his foster family stepped up! He's now living the good life in a foster home until he's matched with his forever family.  Pup is housetrained and good with kids and other dogs. He's gentle, social and active. Pup is a very happy boy who is looking for his next adventure. Please apply online if you're interested in meeting him! legacyhumanesociety.org Pup is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and on heartworm prevention. We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in adopting from LHS, please complete an online application at http://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ and we will contact you asap about the status of your application. Story
Trip had to have his leg amputated as it healed improperly after it was broken while he was a growing puppy. However, he is one of the happiest, silliest boys you could hope to meet. He lives with many other dogs and is a favorite playmate for most of them. He loves all his canine buddies and is also fine around cats. Trip loves all humans he meets and would be a great addition to any home looking for a playful, outgoing dog. He is crate-trained primarily and will ask to go outside; however, he has not been able to stay up for longer than overnight without a potty break. He does not get many chances to go for car rides, but enjoys it when he can. Trip is fully vetted - current with all vaccines, on heartworm and flea/tick prevention, neutered and microchipped.
