Story
We are absolutely smitten with this sweet boy! Edward is 11 weeks old, weighs 14.14 lbs, and is expected to be between 46–77 lbs when fully grown. According to Wisdom Panel, he is a mix of seven different breeds, with the top two being 42% Great Pyrenees and 33% American Pit Bull. Edward already knows how to sit on command, is kennel trained and is doing very well with potty training. He loves everyone he meets and does great with other dogs. He enjoys his toys and is wonderful at entertaining himself, but he’s also incredibly affectionate and never misses a chance to give kisses. If you are interested in adding Edward to your family, please submit an adoption application at www.rescuerowinc.org. Due to his breed makeup, he will not be placed in an apartment. *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee  Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee  Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##2626102##

Story
Clarence is a 4 year old, 100 lb Great Pyrenees who is ready for his forever home. When he first came to the rescue, he was in rough shape and very shy, but he has since grown into a confident, affectionate, and handsome boy. Clarence enjoys being around people and forms strong bonds with his humans. He is fully potty trained, well-mannered in the home, and does not require a kennel when left alone. He knows how to sit and shake on command and enjoys daily walks and walks well on a leash. He does well with other dogs after a slow introduction and would be best matched with someone familiar with large breeds or Great Pyrenees traits. Clarence needs a home where someone is around for part or most of the day. No apartments and no cats, please. If you’re interested in adopting Clarence, please apply at www.rescuerowinc.org. Story
Our daughter and son adopted this dog two years ago on New Year’s Eve. They did not ask the right questions, and we did not know he would be so big. He needs a good place to run around and enjoy being outside. We love him, but we cannot keep him in our home. Not to mention, our daughter has gone away to college, and is about to move into an apartment where she cannot take a large dog, and our son is about to go away to college. Unfortunately, with mine and my husband‘s busy schedule, we cannot continue to take care of the dog. He is very sweet and loving, just needs a nice yard to run around in. Any family will be lucky to have him.

Story
***DFW area only-No Exceptions***     Flurry is a 3 months  old (as of 2/1 /26) possibly Great Pyrenees/Australian cattle dog mix puppy. His litter was left at the back door of a local shelter at just one week of age.  His foster mom saw a plea and brought him in to the Legacy Humane fold! Since then, the pups have progressed from bottle feeding to solid food and are now ready for adoption! Flurry  loves to be played with, is attentive to his person, sweet and fun. He likes to climb in his foster mom’s lap for a snuggle. He also enjoys cozy dog beds for a good nap. He has one blue eye and one gray eye and his nose is multicolored. He is generally gentle and calm. He can be a bit shy in new situations but warms up faster if a nice doggy friend is around. Puppies at this age will require patience and training to become the best pup they can be. Flurry is working on potty training and, given a potty schedule, he does very well for his young age. Flurry does well with kids old enough to understand puppy behavior (~8ys and up). So far he does well with other dogs and cats. Flurry responds well to corrections from dogs and curtails his behavior accordingly. He would do best in a home with a yard.    Current weight: 22 lbs Projected weight 70+ lbs Crate trained    We are requesting a donation of $325 for the adoption which includes his neuter, three rounds of puppy vaccines, a rabies vaccine, microchip with registration, dewormer and a single dose of heartworm preventative.  If you're interested in meeting or adopting him, please complete an application on our website and someone will reach out to you within 48 hours.  https://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ Adopter will take puppy to an LHS approved vet to be neutered in July of 2025 per the spay/neuter agreement and in accordance to Chapter 828, Texas Health and Safety Code.  *Due to the high volume of applications and inquires for puppies as well as vetting needs, we will not be able to respond to or consider interest from those outside of the Dallas/Fort Worth Area.    We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in adopting from LHS, please complete an online application at http://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ and we will contact you asap about the status of your application. Since then, the pups have progressed from bottle feeding to solid food and are now ready for adoption! Frost loves to be played with, is observant, sweet and adventurous. She is very smart and catches on to routines quickly. She is a very pretty puppy with pink highlights and even a pinkish nose. She enjoys playing fetch and romping in the yard. Story
Trip had to have his leg amputated as it healed improperly after it was broken while he was a growing puppy. However, he is one of the happiest, silliest boys you could hope to meet. He lives with many other dogs and is a favorite playmate for most of them. He loves all his canine buddies and is also fine around cats. Trip loves all humans he meets and would be a great addition to any home looking for a playful, outgoing dog. He is crate-trained primarily and will ask to go outside; however, he has not been able to stay up for longer than overnight without a potty break. He does not get many chances to go for car rides, but enjoys it when he can. Trip is fully vetted - current with all vaccines, on heartworm and flea/tick prevention, neutered and microchipped.
