Story
Name: Juniper Zoomie Queen of the Three-Legged Olympics Breed: Aussie/Husky Mix Sex: Spayed Female Age: 3.5 years Weight: 65 lbs Adores People, Friendly, Joyful Tripod with Endless Energy! Good with dogs? Juniper is selective with other dogs and will be happiest as an only dog. She has so much love to give and is ready to be your one, very best friend! Good with cats? No, she will chase cats and other small animals like squirrels, bunnies and birds. Good with kids? Yes, she loves kids and all humans but given her play style she may overwhelm small kids, so probably older kids would be best! Energy level: High! Juniper loves to run and play chase and tug of war, but will also relax and snuggle. She loves to hang out outside, and would also love to hang out on your couch and just be by you. She is a dynamo of enthusiastic energy from waking until snoozing. Behavioral needs: This active, fun loving girl is a tripod, but that does not slow her down! She may be reactive to other dogs on leash and needs training. She needs a home where she can be the only dog. Her adopter can work on training to help her build comfort and confidence. Animal Characteristics: Juniper is a wonderful pup who absolutely loves all people! She is super sweet, joyful and affectionate, with an enthusiastic spirit. She seeks out attention from her trusted person and other new people. She loves play as well as gentle, quiet cuddle time. She is very intelligent, fully potty trained, knows how to sit and shake, and is motivated by treats for her future training. She loves to be busy and might be a wiz at trick training! She gave birth to a beautiful litter of nine puppies, and is ready for her forever home where she can share her abundant love and zest for life! Please learn more about the adoption process and fill out an application at www.pawsco.org/adopt/adoption-process. My adoption fee is $50. You can also contact my friends at PawsCo at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org if you have questions. I look forward to meeting you!

Story
Meet Poncho, a remarkable 4.5-year-old Husky/Shepherd mix who’s searching for his forever home. Rescued from a high-kill shelter after his previous owner had to move and couldn’t take him along, Poncho is a unique and lovable companion with a heart of gold. Poncho is a good-natured and sweet dog who does well with middle to large dogs and is incredibly intelligent. He prefers to spend most of his time outside and doesn’t seek out cuddles or furniture, but he shows his affection in his own special ways. His high energy levels and need for mental stimulation mean he thrives with proper exercise and engaging activities. Ideal for someone who works from home, Poncho doesn’t like to be alone and may struggle with separation, especially at first. He can be a bit vocal, giving you an earful as huskies are known to do, but his charming personality and loving nature make him an exceptional companion. Poncho is a special dog who will bring joy and loyalty to the right home. If you’re looking for a unique and devoted friend who’s ready to become a cherished part of your life, Poncho is the one for you.

Story
Rescued on her last day after being placed on the euthanasia list due to overcrowding, Gracie was incredibly lucky to get her second chance just in time. Full of love, Gracie adores everyone she meets, kids, adults, and especially bigger dogs. She’s a true social butterfly and adventure seeker. Her favorite activities include roaming free at the dog park, going on long walks, and sticking her head out the window on car rides. She’s a total sweetheart who’s finally getting to experience life outside the tiny kennel she was confined to for months. She’s fully potty trained and will gently tap her collar with her nose to let you know when she needs to go out. She knows basic commands like sit, stay, and paw, and would thrive with a bit of continued training! Freedom looks so good on Miss Gracie, and now she’s ready to turn her second chance into a lifetime of love with her person.

Story
Meet Cayenne If joy had four legs and a wagging tail, it would be Cayenne. This beautiful Husky/Shepherd mix is still very much a puppy at heart. She's equal parts goofy, playful, and endlessly sweet, with a tail that rarely stops wagging. Whether she's galloping toward a favorite toy just to toss it around by herself or happily rolling around in the grass, Cayenne has an infectious zest for life that makes everyone around her smile. When Cayenne first came into rescue, she had every reason not to trust the world. She was found wandering the streets, severely malnourished, pregnant, and barely hanging on. The small scars on her face are quiet reminders of a difficult past—but they don't define her. What defines Cayenne is her resilience, her forgiving heart, and her incredible ability to love. She adores people and is wonderful with kids, dogs, and other animals. While she's incredibly loyal and loves being with her family, she's also wonderfully independent. She's perfectly content sleeping outside the bedroom and often chooses to spend time outside simply soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the grass. Like any young Husky mix, Cayenne has a playful stubborn streak and will thrive with a family committed to daily exercise, consistency, and continued training. She's smart, energetic, and eager to be part of an active home that embraces her puppy spirit. Simply put, Cayenne is a delight. She has completely stolen our hearts—so much so that my husband, Tim, has repeatedly suggested we keep her ourselves. (The only thing stopping us is knowing that if we did, we wouldn't have room to continue fostering pregnant moms like her.) Whoever adopts Cayenne won't just be rescuing a dog—they'll be gaining a loyal best friend, a daily source of laughter, and one of the sweetest souls we've ever had the privilege of fostering. ##2830590##
