Read on to learn more about me:- I am guessed to be a 2 year old Jack Russell Terrier/Feist mix and I'm petite at only 27 lbs- I love to run! My foster mom tries to sprint with me sometimes, but she's not that fast. I'd love to have a yard where I can run around- I LOVE getting my head and belly scratched, and snuggling with my humans. To see me feeling some head-scratch bliss, click here!- I am GREAT at sitting and working to perfect "down"- I’m happy to sleep in my crate at night and when my family is at work, but I prefer to hang out with the people when they are home - I am potty trained but sometimes get so excited that I accidentally tinkle- I love bringing my toys into my crate to play. Watch me here!- I LOVE toys and FOOD! I'm food motivated so you can use food to teach me new tricks :)- Sometimes I like to chase my tail and my foster mom says it is really funny. See me being silly here!- I would do best in a home with no small children since I am still working on understanding personal space. In my foster home I like the kids 6 and over. Those little barely walking kids scare me.- Overall? I'm a very good and lovable boyFrom Ben's foster: Ben is a sweet boy with so much love to give, and it is clear that he just wants to be loved back. He has made so much progress in our time together. He will need an adopter who is patient and understands that it will take him some time to get settled in a new environment, but he promises to repay you with tons of kisses and snuggles.This dog tested positive for heartworm disease before arriving to the rescue. The disease was treated while in foster care. Heartworm disease is transmitted to a dog through a bite from an infected mosquito. With monthly preventatives, the disease is completely preventable. Jackie is a loving Jack Russel mix that loves to play with toys, cuddle, and enjoy sniffing the outdoors until she`s memorized every scent. She is approx. 12 years old and love to run when possible and has plenty of energy to destroy any toy you give her. Jackie is able to vocalize when she needs to go to the bathroom and will give you a serious stare and bark to let you know. She deserves a backyard where she can roam and keep her mind busy while enjoying the outdoors. Keeping Jackie locked up in a cage can lead to high anxiety levels and we have to give her anxiety medication while we are at work. She loves to walk outdoors and is very playful. Jackie needs someone who is around allot and able to keep her anxiety levels to a minimum with a backyard available for her to tire herself out. Open your heart to Jackie.

Winston is a good sweet old boy who has a lot of stress with other dogs, and has difficulty around kids and other animals. He has hip dysplasia, trouble with stairs, and doesn't like being picked up or held anymore. He has a tendency to snap if there is too much noise or hands in his face, so no kids. He would be best as a cherished and only pet in a quiet home with older adults. He can be a perfect companion for the right person. Loves watching Golden Girls and snuggling in a warm blanket. Crate trained and comes with all his favorite things. He used to be very active but slowed down recently. Happiest with short walks, but loves long ones in his stroller, sunning and fresh air. He prefers real food, like chicken and vegetables and will avoid plain kibble. He has been with my family for over 10 years and it breaks our hearts that we can't keep him, but we have a toddler starting to walk. He is easily startled and snaps and chases if kids run away, and nips at heels. Hates dog parks!
