Story
Hey Hey!! Look at ME!!   My name is Pappy!! I’m a sweet little Jack Russell Terrier guy that would love to have a warm cozy home again. For some reason my last family had to move away and forgot me. They must have had too much on their mind. ‍&#226&#153&#128&#239&#184&#143 Right now I’m in a foster home getting lots of attention and love! They tell me I’m the BESTEST boy! I am 3 years old, 18 pounds, crate trained, house trained, and I love other doggie friends.  Make note, those fuzzy kitties are strange to me and I don’t care for them too much.  I’m ready to finally find my one and only family that will love me forever and always! Are you that family? Are you ready for the BESTEST boy ?!!&#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com       PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comDecember 9, 2023, 4:52 pm

Story
Lucky Lionel is a most “LUCKY” dog since he was snatched out of the middle of a highway in rural Tennessee and avoided being run over by one of many cars and trucks.  His life was changed right there in the middle of the highway when a rescue angel loaded him in her car and carried him home to safety.  Noone ever came forward to claim this boy on social media and we are happy to offer this special 4-5 year old, 15 pound boy to a special Jack Russell loving family.  He is a boy that likes mature adult dogs and tolerates puppies.  He is good with the chickens and cats at the foster home and just basically ignores them. Lucky Lionel is the little guy that wants to be the center of attention.  He is pretty good on leash and is almost potty trained but has an occasional accident every now and then. Lionel will bark at new people for a minute and then is fine with them.  He is being socialized and good with a 4 year old busy toddler boy and all the adults in the home.  This boy is smart and adorable and loves to sit next to you or in your lap.  He is not needy for love but does ask for it. True to form he is a JRT who is an independent spirit but one that gives back over and over with fun and love. If you are interested in this boy please know that he is best in a fenced yard and he could go for nice long walks with you daily to get off the energy.  Email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.December 9, 2023, 4:52 pm

Story
Moco is outgoing and sweet with people he's met. He likes to go on car rides and walks, especially hikes. Both he and his brother Oreo love to be outdoors and go on adventures. Moco came into the rescue with his brother Oreo. Oreo is a bit shy and insecure. He's sweet with people he's met but can take a while to warm up to people. Oreo does have some resource guarding, but we're working through that. Oreo came into the rescue with his brother Moco. Both have high prey drives and like to chase anything from bees to cars so they can not go to a home with small animals or children. Neither has had much as far as training goes, but both are pretty quick learners. They are crate trained, although they prefer not to be in them, the foster parent has left both in crates while at work and they do well. They both pull while on leash, but do well with gentle lead head collars. They have been on hikes and enjoy those! They love to be outdoors and to explore. They know sit, but do not stay very well. The foster has been working with both with basic manners, although we think they'd learn quicker in separate homes. They feed off each other, not in a good way. Most of us wish the dogs that come into our care could stay together, but sometimes it's better for the dogs to be separated in order to live a happier, healthier life. If these two where adopted together, adopter would need to be very experienced. Together or separate, they'll need some continued basic obedience training. With their physical and personality traits, we believe these boys are a Jack Russell, Corgi and Bully mix. We adopt within 100 miles of Waldorf, MD. If interested please fill out an adoption application www.rescueangelssomd.com. All dogs receive vet care before adoption, including spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, Heartworm/Lyme/Ehrlichia 4DX snap test, deworming, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and microchip. Indoor homes only and we expect all dogs to be family members. Adoption fee applies and adoption application required.

Story
My name is Maxx, and one day, I was traveling solo in the streets of Louisiana and trotted into the street and got hit by a car. A kind person saw the accident and whisked me to safety before I could get hit a second time. My paw was hurt but not seriously injured, so my guardian angel sought help from New Rattitude to find me a forever family to love me and keep me safe from the streets that seem to be filled with things that want to roll over me! I enthusiastically endorse that idea! Recently, I took a plane ride recently, and I am now in Maryland - I am a traveling kind of guy!   I'm about 4 years old with a family tree probably containing rat terriers and lots of dachshunds. Now that I'm healed up, I weigh just over 13 lbs. I will sometimes sing and dance for my food- because I just want to make sure that I am not forgotten, but I am respectful of the resident dog’s bowls. I do check them all out when they are done just to make sure they finished it all! Next to eating, my favorite pastime is being close to my person. I'll follow you everywhere and want to be snuggled on your lap, next to you, or on your chest; I'm not fussy as long as I'm close and I do get along with the other pups in my foster home. I am good on a leash and harness- and we go for walks in the neighborhood morning and night (with a daytime potty break), walking over 2 miles a day! I love all the people I meet and try to give everyone lots of tail wags and kisses, and my foster mom says I have done well meeting some of the bigger dogs in the neighborhood too!   I've almost mastered house-training, so my foster mom is working on a set schedule for potty breaks to help me. I have been crate trained, but I would prefer an invitation to sleep in your bed with you. I also prefer my person to be with me as much as possible, so I might bark and sing if you have to leave, but I will settle down on the sofa and wait to sing to you again when you arrive back home! I also like car rides and am very well behaved while driving. So now, I'm ready to travel to my forever home. You can see more of me in my online photo album at  https://imageevent.com/newrattitude/travismax  . Our adoption fee is $200 for adult dogs or $250 for puppies under 6 months old. If you are interested in adopting this dog, PLEASE READ THE DETAILED ADOPTION PROCESS information on our website at www. NewRattitude.org/adopt/  From there, you can access our adoption application or contact our Adoption Team for more info. December 9, 2023, 1:35 pm
