Story
Rather has a wonderful personality and is happy to lay on the couch with his people and quick to roll on his back to receive belly rubs. He likes playing with balls and stuffed toys in the house and will eagerly go for as many walks as possible. Rather is fully house trained and knows how to use a dog door. He is also capable of being home alone without using a crate and he rides well in a car. Rather is very food motivated, making for easy training to expand his basic commands. Rather likes other dogs, but an overly energetic dog needs to be introduced a little slower. He will need continued socialization to reinforce calm greetings with other dogs while on walks. We require an application, phone interview and home visit prior to adoption. We will not discuss a specific dog with an applicant until the adoption process is completed. Our adoption fee for dogs under 9 months is $400, dogs between 9 months and 8 years is $350. Please visit our website for more information. Thank you!

Story
This excellent companion dog is Worthy! He adores his people and loves to cuddle. He also loves to exercise, so he would be great for someone who is looking for a running buddy and a play buddy for another active dog. He can be shy when first meeting someone new and needs someone who knows how to make him feel safe in those situations, but once he is shown everything is ok, he does so much better. Worthy's foster mom says he is very smart and knows lots of tricks! He is also crate trained and house-trained and is working on leash training. He would be a great fit for anyone who is looking for a running and cuddling buddy. Worthy is so ready to find a family of his own to love! We require an application, phone interview and home visit prior to adoption. We will not discuss a specific dog with an applicant until the adoption process is completed.
