Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Louie the Labra-doodle: A Ball-Obsessed, Kid-Dodging, Male Diva of All Doodles!  Louie is a Doodle, but not just any doodle. Oh no, he’s a premium mix of two royally different dog breeds: a Labrador (the water-loving, hunting fiend who’s all about getting dirty and chasing things) and a Poodle (an exceptionally intelligent, slightly snobbish, and all-around canine diva). The result? One very opinionated, ball-obsessed, not-a-fan-of-kids, occasionally dramatic fluffball named Louie. &#226&#156&#168 At 6 years old and 30 pounds soaking wet, Louie is ready to grace a new home where the only humans are mature (or at least older kids who know better than to get in his personal space). He’s NOT about that chaos life—small humans? Too much noise, too many fast moves. Louie’s more of a “sit back, relax, and watch the world go by” kinda guy. Here’s what Louie really loves: Fetch: Louie is all about the ball—he’ll chase it, retrieve it, and look at you like you owe him for that perfect throw. Seriously, you could have a private tennis ball session with this guy all day, and he wouldn’t complain (as long as the ball keeps coming). Diva Vibes: Louie’s got the intelligence of a Poodle mixed with the charisma of a dog who knows he’s extra. Whether it’s napping on the couch or giving you the side-eye when things aren’t up to his standards, Louie’s not afraid to let you know when he’s not impressed. ‍&#226&#153&#130&#239&#184&#143 Lap hog: Your lap is his throne. Don’t even think about getting up without warning. If you’ve got a couch, prepare for Louie to claim it for himself. He’s a master of lap snuggling, so bring your blanket and prepare to have your personal space invaded. &#239&#184&#143 No Kids, Please: Louie’s not about that kid life. He prefers a calmer environment where no one’s chasing him or trying to pick him up without permission. If you’ve got older kids who know how to treat a dog with respect, maybe they’ll get a pass. But no promises. Dog Selective: Louie’s a little picky with other dogs. He’s got to be in the right mood and with the right canine companion to share his space. No drama allowed—just good vibes only. On top of all that, Louie is vaccinated, neutered, and ready to find his forever home, where he can be the center of attention (as he deserves). He’ll warm your lap, chase the ball, and share his thoughts on weather patterns—because, really, what’s more important than the forecast? So, if you're looking for a ball-chasing, couch-loving, ball-of-adorable, and occasionally diva-ish companion, Louie the Labradoodle is your guy! Apply to adopt Louie with United Doberman Rescue at www.uniteddobermanrescue.org. But remember—no kids (unless they understand the art of respecting a dog’s boundaries). If you can keep up with his fetch game and don’t mind a little doggie diva attitude, Louie is waiting for you to roll out the red carpet!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.United Doberman Rescue Adoption Process Application Submission: Complete the adoption application thoroughly. Incomplete applications may be denied.(uniteddobermanrescue.org) We are 100% volunteer, please read adoption requirements BEFORE reaching out to us.  Home Visit: A volunteer will schedule a home visit to assess the environment and discuss your expectations. Due to COVID-19 precautions, same-day adoptions are currently permitted.  Key Adoption Policies Age Requirement: Adopters must be at least 21 years old and reside in the home where the dog will live.(uniteddobermanrescue.org) WE do NOT ship our dogs ever!!! Story
Say HI to “ANA” whom we also call “Princess Ana”; you know the “Princess Anna of Arendelle” from the Disney’s movie “Frozen”? Sadly, Ana comes to us from a wonderful, loving couple who are experiencing the wife’s failing health. Ana is a beautiful black, Miniature Poodle who weighs a healthy 14 pounds, stands 13” tall (floor to withers) and was born November 26, 2022. Her sire is a CKC registered Champion, but Ana is not AKC or CKC registered. Not a problem as her high intelligence, outgoing personality and loving disposition certainly displays the characteristics of good breeding. Ana just LOVES attention. She loves men as well as women, will follow you around the house wanting to know what you’re doing and if she can help! Just sit down and she will immediately jump into your lap to give you kisses. Ana is a “Velcro” Poodle. But while I’m on the computer, she will lay patiently in a dog bed watching me. Doing the Poodle “zoomies”, playing with her toys or having you throw any toy/ball to play fetch (video) is also what this precious girl just loves to do. When friends or family come, she’s the first to meet and greet everyone so they will pick her up and love her. This is a quiet girl who rarely barks and is a perfect girl in our home (housetrained). While she has always been an only dog, she does enjoy playing with other dogs who want to play with her. Ana will come immediately when she is called, loves her toys, food, treats and greatly enjoys her daily 1-mile walk as then she can see more SQUIRRELS! *A SECURLY FENCED YARD will be required as Ana has always had one and will not relieve herself on a leash. *Preference will be given to a family with Poodle experience. BUT PLEASE: *NO aggressive or assertive dogs (they scare her and me). *NO young children. *Like most rescue groups, we do NOT adopt our Poodles to homes more than 1 day’s drive (round trip) from our location here in central Minnesota. Ana has been Veterinary checked healthy. She was recently spayed, teeth cleaned along with the removal of some baby teeth by our Vet. She is up to date on all of her vaccinations, worming and has been microchipped and registered. Her heartworm/Lymes/Ehrlich/ Anaplasmosis (4DX) test was negative. As with all the other cute Poodles we have adopted, Ana’s adoption fee is 1 million, trillion, zillion dollars. However, for the right family her adoption fee is $600.00 which includes $41.00 for our 7.375% Minnesota state sales tax and helps pay for some of her Veterinary expenses. Also included is her leash, collar, dog coat, a bag of quality dog food, dog food container, dog dishes, treats, various toys, a cute toy box, her wire crate, a soft dog bed with a blanket and lots of good information to help your Poodle’s adoption move forward on the right paw! Again, Ana is a very nice, smart and loving Poodle girl who wants and truly deserves a loving “forevermore” home. Currently seeking a foster or forever home Poodlix | Neutered Male | ~1 year old | 8 lbsTurnip is a sweet, affectionate pup who’s all about his favorite human — if you’re looking for a loyal shadow, Turnip is your guy! He bonds closely with one person and becomes anxious when separated, so he’d do best with someone who's home most of the day or can include him in daily activities. Ideal Home:A calm household where he can be the center of attentionPreferably an only dog or with a very low-energy dog. Someone home more often than not (remote worker, retiree, etc. ) Patient, understanding adopter willing to continue potty training and build his confidence Social & Playful:Gets along well with other dogs and cats. Can be a little possessive over toys or treats with other dogs, but has never bitten. Enjoys dog parks and meeting new people Loves cuddling, following his person around, and even watching TV!  Health: Had FHO surgery on his rear left leg; occasional limping or hopping is normal and expected — he's not in pain Requires regular grooming to prevent matting  Other Notes: Sleeps well overnight in his crate Crating for long hours during the day is not ideal — he needs companionship  Learning “sit” and has pretty good recall Eats better when someone keeps him company Can be barky at times (including barking at the TV!) Turnip is a loving, quirky little companion who would thrive in a calm, caring home where he gets the attention and reassurance he craves. If you’re looking for a sweet, snuggly sidekick who will adore you endlessly — Turnip may be your perfect match.  Interested in fostering or adopting Turnip? Story
Ms. Coco is a breeder release that is loving the home life and all the wonderful things it has to offer. Coco is 10 lbs of pure silly poodle. She is coming out of her shell and discovering all things good, like couches, tennis balls, and a loving touch from humans. She did have all BUT 5 teeth pulled but that doesn't stop her from eating crunchy food or chewing on doggie toys. She has a cataract in one of her eyes but that isn't any issue for her, she sees all the leaves outside and chases them when they blow in the wind ( like I said she's silly). Coco is fine with cats and really would prefer another dog in the house to show her the routine, however, the more I spend time with her, I realize that if she were an only dog she would be ok as long as her human was near so she can check in on them. Coco with going potty is rather easy, if she hops off the couch, she should probably go out to potty. Really that is her cue, just getting off the couch, she really loves the couch that much,  I can only assume it's because it is way better than the kennel she spent all of her 8 yrs in before coming into rescue. Coco is very sweet; however, she is shy until she gets comfortable with a new person but that is typical of dogs in new places and new people. Coco loves chin scratches and head rubs and will almost climb in your lap if you start, so be prepared that if you start, you may never be able to stop because she loves it that much.           Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, dental, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee:  $450.00Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 15, 2025, 12:27 pm
