Crate trained: Yes, does well in the crate when left alone **requires another dog and a fenced yard in the home** Hello! Do you remember Georgie Porgie...kissed the girls and made them cry? Yep, that's me. I am a sweet, affectionate, goofy, mini poodle who loves and wants to please his people. When I wag my tail, my body shakes and it brings smiles and laughter to those around me. I enjoy toys, back rubs and cuddling. I'm usually a quiet, reserved guy who doesn’t cause trouble. Couches are great. I can be afraid of noises and new things but I am learning to understand and trust my world. I know the sit and come commands. This Minnesota weather has been a challenge for me and am looking forward to warmer weather. I would benefit from obedience training (I am still a puppy at heart). I am a good dog and will bring an abundance of smiles and happiness. P.S. I quickly learned where they kept the cookie jar Love, George Adoption fee: $695

Story
Hi, my name is Bianca and I am from Minnesota. From her foster: Bianca is a gentle, affectionate miniature poodle who truly shines once she feels safe. Her favorite place in the world is right by your side, especially if that includes a cozy lap, soft pets, and plenty of cuddles. She’s happiest simply being with her people and soaking up affection. Bianca can be shy at first, particularly with new men, but with patience and kindness she warms up and forms deep, loving bonds. In her foster home, she gets along well with an older dog and enjoys simple games like chasing tossed kibble. Treats are definitely the way to her heart! She’s still gaining confidence on leash and currently uses pee pads, though she does go outside at times as well. At bedtime, Bianca loves sleeping with her people but is also comfortable resting in a covered kennel, especially if she can keep the door open. Bianca would thrive in a calm, loving home where she can continue building confidence at her own pace. For the right family, she’ll be a devoted little companion who offers endless love and snuggles.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.    Rigel is a gentle, reserved Miniature Poodle who needs time, patience, and the right people to help him shine. He may start out skittish, but once he chooses his person, he becomes a loyal little shadow who wants nothing more than to be close. Rigel tends to feel more comfortable around women and can be unsure of men at first, sometimes barking or growling when he’s nervous. With consistency and calm reassurance, he settles and has even been known to curl up next to his foster dad once he feels safe. Now that he’s gaining confidence, Rigel is beginning to show his playful side. He loves small stuffed toys, nightly chew sessions with bully sticks or pig ears, and cuddling on the couch or in bed. He enjoys being out and about as long as his trusted person is right beside him, and he rides quietly in the car. Rigel does best with another dog in the home—preferably one similar in size—who can help him continue learning how to be a confident house dog. He has lived with cats and done well, and he gets along with most dogs, though he avoids pushy or cantankerous personalities. A fenced yard is important for him, as he loves the freedom to explore safely. Potty training is coming along nicely with a schedule, and he knows cues like “outside” and “go potty.” Crates are not his favorite and he takes time to settle, but he does well when riding in one in the car. Rigel is a sweet, intelligent little dog who blossoms with patience. Once he bonds, he is affectionate, cuddly, and devoted. He will thrive in a calm home with considerate older kids or adults, a gentle canine companion, and someone willing to give him the time he needs to trust. With the right family, Rigel will become the loving, loyal companion he’s meant to be. Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter’s expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog whose bio states those needs and do not currently have them, please understand that your home might not be the right fit. Please use the filter on our Adoptable Dogs page to find the perfect match for your home.   ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there*** Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com> ADOPTION EVENTS:      Adoption events are updated at the top of each dogs animals' as their foster home signs up. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.      Max is a 13&#226&#128&#145pound Yorkie/Poodle mix with a huge personality and an even bigger love for life. He’s goofy, joyful, and excited about everything — attention, toys, treats, other dogs, snuggles, you name it. If it’s fun or involves his people, Max is all in. He’s still young and full of puppy enthusiasm, which means he loves to play, chase toys, and show off his hilarious zoomies. Ropes are his favorite toys, and he’s especially silly when he’s chasing after a ball. After he’s burned off his energy, he’s happiest curled up in your lap giving gentle kisses. Max is smart, eager to please, and already has a great start on training. He knows sit, come, and kennel, has excellent recall, and is quiet and patient in his crate. He hasn’t had accidents in his kennel and waits politely for the door to open — and then the fun begins. He’s close to being fully potty trained with a consistent schedule. He loves walks and, while he can pull when he’s excited, he listens well and slows down when asked. He can be vocal when he sees something outside he wants to investigate, but he’s easily redirected. Max gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would love a similarly sized playmate with matching energy, though it’s not required. He’s friendly with kids, adults, and newcomers of all kinds. Max is affectionate, playful, intelligent, and incredibly loving — the kind of dog who makes everyone he meets smile. If you’re looking for a fun, goofy, snuggly companion who brings joy and laughter to every day, Max is ready to be your new best friend. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.    Hendrix is a sweet, gentle 16&#226&#128&#145pound Poodle experiencing life in a home for the very first time after coming from a breeder—and he’s blossoming beautifully. During his first week, he was quiet and cautious, taking everything in. Now that he feels safe, his personality is shining through: curious, friendly, playful, and eager to explore. He loves going for walks (even in snow and ice!) and enjoys meeting adults, kids, and friendly dogs of all sizes. He has a high energy level and a puppy&#226&#128&#145like enthusiasm for the world, making him a great match for an active home. He especially enjoys tug games with ropes or rags and loves interacting with people and other dogs. He hasn’t fully discovered toys yet, but he’s starting to show interest. Hendrix is mostly paper trained and also goes potty outside. He’s still learning a consistent routine, but with three daily walks he’s doing well. He’s crate trained, walks nicely on leash, and knows “come” and “wait.” He’s intelligent, eager to please, and very adaptable as he learns what home life is all about. He does have one unique quirk—his right front leg was fractured at some point in his past and healed out of alignment. It doesn’t stop him from enjoying life, but he’s nervous about jumping down from furniture or going down stairs on his own. He’ll need a patient adopter who can help him build confidence and keep him safe. Hendrix is affectionate, even&#226&#128&#145tempered, gentle, and wonderfully sweet. He loves snuggling on the sofa, thrives on attention, and would do well in a home with children and other friendly dogs. He’s a loving, joyful companion who is discovering the world with fresh eyes—and he’s ready to share that journey with his forever family.
