He’s a certified lap dog who loves to lean in for affection and soak up all the love you’re willing to give but is also down for a good walk or hike! He’s a social butterfly who enjoys meeting new people and does well with dogs and kids. This smart boy is housetrained and a quick learner. He’s affection motivated and responds well to gentle corrections. Basil already knows an impressive list of cues: sit, stay, down, roll over, spin (ballerina), and stand — he’ll happily show off his tricks for praise and pets! He rides well in the car and can comfortably be left alone for 4–6 hours and does not require a crate. Basil is looking for a cat-free home where he can continue being the star of the show.
