They call me Exuberant, Handsome and Sweet but you can choose a new name for me when we adopt each other. I don’t care what you call me, as long as you call me. I’m a happy dog who loves people more than anything else in the world. I’m a 6 year old mix, with a 22” collar and am very big and strong. The Vet said I weigh 73 pounds. Don’t let that scare you because I am just a mushy ball of love. I like to let everyone know how happy I am to see them by twirling around and wagging my tail as fast as it will go. This is usually when they call me Exuberant. I like to have fun. I’m such a good boy and I have good potty manners. I prefer being inside with people at night especially. Since I have a lot of energy and need exercise, your large fenced yard will be well-used. My foster peeps say I need a family, not a job. They know that I’m a quick learner and will be someone’s best dog ever. Because I’m big and young at heart, my new humans should have some experience with dogs and be able to work with someone of my stature. I promise I will try to do everything you ask enthusiastically. I don’t like loud booming noises (fireworks or dynamite) or gunfire but neither do most of my friends. Health wise, I am terrific; up to date on shots and tested negative for heartworms. Foster peeps say it means I will get my forever home very soon! Maybe it’s yours! FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. FOCCAS does not DNA test or guarantee breed. My adoption fee (if picked up locally in Crossville, Tennessee) is $225. This is Vinny he is a really good boy. My father (his owner) recently passed away and I am unable to keep him because I will be moving into an apartment and already have another dog. He just wants attention and cuddles but we are gone at work a lot and he has separation anxiety. He needs a home where he will get a lot of attention. He also needs a high fenced back yard because he is a climber. His mom was pitbull and his dad a shepherd/huskie.

Paddington is such a teddy bear with his cool brindle coat and soft eyes!   He was found as a local stray and never claimed. He is approximately 1-1.5 years old and weighs between 55-60lbs.   Foster Update: Paddington is a nice boy that is crate trained and seems to be house broke too. He can be a little shy at first but as soon as he knows you're ok, he is a lover! He is quiet and walks well on a leash, eats well, takes treats in a proper manner and knows a few commands like give paw and even tries to sit up! He is good with other dogs that do not get into his face, so proper introductions are needed but no cats for this guy.    We recommend obedience training for all dogs!  **Breed or size (once fully grown) is a 'best guess' and is not guaranteed since they arrived into rescue without either parent. **Magnificent Mutts is an all foster home based rescue and meets are held by appointment with the entire family in attendance. If you don't see a dog currently with Players for Pits that interests you, please consider fostering. There are over 300 amazing dogs at Chicago Animal Care and Control (the shelter most our adoptable dogs come from) and we can match you with a good fit. The rescue covers the cost of all vetting and supplies needed for fostering and we will connect you with a support system of team members/volunteers from our rescue so you are not alone in the process. Fostering saves lives! When you decide to foster, you are temporarily opening your home up to a dog in need who may otherwise have been euthanized. We have many teirs of fosters. The first is "revolving fosters" meaning they take on one or two dogs at a time and when that dog or dog(s) get adopted, they get ready for a new foster to keep to cycle of saving lives going! Another large part of our rescue is Vacation Fosters who do short term fostering. To foster for us, we currently require you be within an hour of Roselle, Illinois where our main vet is located. Dorothea came to us as an owner request to euthanize with 12 other dogs. While we do not know exactly what happened in her past life, she’s blossomed into a pup who enjoys life playing with toys, the resident dogs in her foster home, and the couch for snuggles of all kinds. Thea is a sweet energetic brown and white puppy and is around 1.5 years old. She’s tall and lean with big adorable ears. Dorothea will make a great addition to any family with another dog. She thrives with other confident, non territorial, dog friendly dogs. The slower you move with her the faster you will see her blossom into trusting her new surroundings. Dorothea trusts kids easily as they’re close to her level. She likes them to be playmates and need positive reinforced guidance on how to be a good kid playmate. Dorothea would thrive best in a home with another dog friend to help build trust and manners with her new family. She is incredibly submissive and playful with dogs ranging in ages from 1.5-9 years old. Dorothea loves having a toddler around for face level kisses and all the snacks. She’s continuing to work on her manners. She has a high energy level and loves outside- rain, sun, or snow. She lives to: chase her foster siblings in the yard, for toys, and tug. A family that likes to be outside, and/or has a quiet fenced in yard is a must for her. She also needs a family that has a consistent dependable schedule as she thrives in reliable schedules. Dorothea loves her crate and is doing great with potty training. She is a playful silly goose who just wants to be friends with all the dogs and humans she meets. What else could you ask for?
