Teddy loves water and plays in his pool. We are working on leash training and sitting on command. He’s smart and anxious to learn. He loves other dogs and wants to play hard but is also respectful of them. He’s got long thick hair so he will need professional grooming several times a year. Teddy must have a home with another young dog about his size and someone home most of the time. No cats. Teddy was a stray and extremely thin. Cowboy is a 6-month-old, Mini Aussie/Spaniel mix. He is a happy, high-energy pup weighing in at about 18 lbs and ready to take on the world. He’s incredibly friendly, loves everyone he meets, and absolutely thrives when he has other dogs to play with—wrestling, chasing, and romping are his favorite pastimes. Cowboy is crate trained and sleeps like a rock (seriously—like a bag of bricks!), which is how his foster discovered he’s likely deaf. But don’t let that fool you—his deafness doesn’t slow him down one bit. He navigates life just like any other puppy and is incredibly in tune with his people. This smart, human-focused boy is a quick learner and eager to please. He responds beautifully to visual cues and will do best with a family excited to continue positive, consistent training. He even loves car rides. Cowboy would thrive in a multi-dog home with a yard where he can burn energy and learn from his canine companions. He would likely also succeed as an only dog as long as human is active and looking for an exploring buddy. Meet EVA! This sweet mama arrived to us from CA back in February of this year. She arrived to us pregnant, and had 6 pups while in our care. All her pups have been adopted, and it is now sweet mama's turn! She is a little shy and can get spooked easily. But she is very sweet, and good with people and dogs, and walks well on leash.
