Story
Hi my name is Hazel and I am pretty shy, but with the help of my foster mom I am coming out of my shell. I like to go for walks, but in a calm and quiet area. I like cats... but like to chase them. So I should probably be in a house without them. I like other dogs, and being around a confident dog would probably help me gain my own self-confidence. Small kids would probably be too much for me, but older kids that can respect my need for a calm environment, would be just fine with me. Please someone just give me a chance. This animal is in a foster home. If you would like to meet this animal, go to www.souldog.org to fill out an adoption application. When submitting your adoption application make sure to submit a good clear picture of your living room, kitchen, and yard. If you rent, you must provide proof animals are allowed. We will contact references. Once the application is reviewed our adoptions coordinator will send your information to the foster to set up a meet and greet. We ask that all members of the household come for a meet and greet to ensure there are no personality clashes. If you have other dogs in the home and are meeting a dog you must bring them for the meet and greet. Filling out an adoption application does not mean you will be adopting the animal. Doing a meet and greet with one of our animals does not guarantee you are adopting the animal. We will select the family we feel is the best choice for that animal after screening and meeting applicants.

Story
Cooper! Cooper is a friendly, outgoing, 8-10 month old, Aussie mix that’s made his way to CO from a small, underfunded shelter in rural Texas. Despite his upbringing, Cooper is happy and playful and see the world with a glass half full. He’s dog friendly, sleeps quietly in his crate at night, and is hard at work on his house-training skills. This is his first time in a home, so he’s learning all the ropes. Coop will make a great addition to an Aussie enthusiast home that enjoys dogs with beauty and brains. Activity and playtime is a must for this friendly boy. Cooper is being fostered in Mead, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/cooper-2/. You can apply for our wonderful dogs at https://www.milehighcanine.org/adopt/adoption-application/.

Story
Leo is a 10 week out Aussie mix weighing about 9lbs.  We are guessing he will be about 40-50lbs when full grown.  Leo and his 2 siblings are the only survivors after being dumped on the middle of no where.  Someone found Momma and the babies right when they were born and brought them to a shelter.  Unfortunately only 3 survived, but now they are happy, healthy, and ready to find their forever families.   Leo and his sister, Violet are both super adorable bundles of fluff and energy.  They show their aussie side with their happy, puppy energy.  They love to run around and play, play play.  They are incredibly smart and are learning quickly.  They have been with a wonderful foster who has done great with socializing and training them, so they are on their way to being the most amazing puppies.  Leo will need a home with an active family or a family who has another dog to play with.  Once he gets his energy out he is a super sweet, snuggly, loving pup, but he will absolutely need an outlet for his energy on a daily basis. If you are interested in adopting Leo or his sister Violet please fill out our adoption application at brighterdaysdogrescue.com ##2116435##

Story
Leia is such a little angel. She loves to be held and around her people. She is so snuggly and loving and fun! She enjoys adventuring outside and getting pets on the couch. She is a survivor and we are not completely sure what her breeds are, but she looks to be between 30-40 pounds full grown. There is definitely something smaller in there. And the fact that her ears have been up for so long means something shiba or husky usually. Leia is going to be a petite girl who will always show you her love and devotion, unless she gets sidetracked by something:). She enjoys being carried around and being a sidekick. Leia is a true sweetheart.

Story
Matilda, or Tilly as we call her, has such a gentle soul. She is so beautiful, inside and out, and is gaining confidence daily. She is the smallest of the litter, and you can tell when you watch her that she is a thinker. She loves getting snuggles more than anything, but is patient and waits her turn. She is gentle and kind and just wants love and affection more than anything else (except maybe food!). She is quiet and allows her siblings to take the lead, but the minute she sees her foster mom, she gets excited and enthusiastic about getting love. She is going to be an incredible addition to any family unit and will be an intelligent and mindful little girl.
