Story
"Shade is single and ready to mingle. Truthfully, he cannot wait to be your shadow. He’s a lovable guy who wants to be wherever you are — leaning against you, across your lap, or lying on/near your feet. This sweet boy is smart and has brains to match his beauty. He is learning more every day that the world is not such a scary place. We suspect Shade might be an Australian Shepherd/Blue Lacy mix. He is very playful and eager to please. In just a week, Shade is already getting the hang of, “Sit,” “Drop,” “Crate,” “Wait,” “Get out,” which is a polite way for us humans to ask for some space, and is making good progress on his recall. Shade thinks toys, treats, people, dogs, walks and car rides are the BEST. If you’re looking for a cuddly companion who would love to work for you, Shade is might just be the guy for you." Penny is being fostered in Longmont, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs.* You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/shade/. Story
hi there! my name is Ara, I am a major lover of dogs. I love to play with toys and currently keep to myself. I could entertain myself for hours with toys. I enjoy sunbathing outside in the grass, the company of other dogs, and a quiet home I can enjoy. I am shy with people at first, I enjoy taking treats from my fosters hands but cuddling is not one of my favorite things yet (the humans think I will get there with time and patience). I am crate trained and 99% potty trained. I am a very quick learner, super food motivated, and SMART!!!! My foster feeds me most of my meals from her hand to help me learn that people are not as scary as I think they are, I have made sooooooo much progress!!Like said before, I am an independent woman, I prefer to play by myself and co-exist with people right now, dogs help my personality shine! My fosters think that I would do best in a home with: at least one other doggy friend (that can continue show me the world is a fun place), experience with my breed (once I warm up to you I am a typical Australian shepherd/working breed, I am high energy and LOVE having a job to do), a home where I can have daily enrichment and long walks once I am old enough, people that will show give me the time I need to learn that my surroundings are not as scary as I think, and give me the opportunity to have time with a trainer that can help us bond, give you tips, and help us both succeed to have a life together that will be good for the both of us!!!1 was found vish my mom ahes aler madle use my later kare, and my brother dan. We have allDo you think you lifestyle is a good fit for me?!I am in a foster home, if you are interested in meeting me, please submit an application on our website.Email adopt@souldog.org with questions.

I will cuddle up next to you while you are not paying attention buy once your arm reaches for me I run away. I love my foster doggy sibling so much. Story
Fenrir, nicknamed Fen, is an almost 4 year old border collie mix. He’s a very dependent boy and will let you know when he needs attention. He’s very active and loves to play with everyone. I have never seen him show any aggression to other dogs or people. He tends to jump up onto people especially new faces. My hopes for his new home is for one with active family members and someone with more time to give him and more love than he knows what to do with.
