He enjoys spending time with people and soaking up attention, though he can be a little shy at first. He has done wonderfully with kids and gets along well with other dogs. My name is Tessa, and I am a 9 year old pure-bred mini Australian Shepherd. I have been with one family for most of my life, but almost 2 years ago one of my humans passed away and my other one couldn't take care of me anymore. I have since been with my new family, but they have little children who make me really anxious and scared. I do best in a calm environment where I am the center of attention. Please no children, unless they are older (12 years +) and know how to be calm around me. I grew up with other pets, and can do well with other dogs, I just need to be slowly introduced. I do love cats and do great with them in the home. I am overall a really sweet girl, and will stick to you like glue once I get to know you! I take anxiety medication currently, and am on a special diet because I am overweight. I am up-to-date on all vaccines and will have a copy of my medical records upon adoption with me.

She's a very sweet girl she just has a lot of energy and I'm not home very often I just feel bad because she needs to get out more and be able to be with someone who can keep up with her energy level. She is really good with other dogs and she is good with kids she does need some additional training with learning how to heel and learning how not to jump on people so it just basic manners but overall she's a very good girl.
