Story
We’d love for you to meet our sweet, shy, Sammie! Sammie is a 1 year old, mini-Aussie. She’s 24.8 lbs but now that she’s finished whelping her litter, we think she will slowly inch up over the 25 lbs mark. Sammie is does best in a quiet home with other dogs and a 5-6 ft privacy fence. Before she came to MHCR she didn’t get to spend much time inside, however, she’s quickly grown accustomed to the luxuries home living brings like couch and bed snuggles! Sammie is shy of kiddos at first but she warms up quickly. She’s house trained, too! Sammie is in foster in Mead, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/sammie You can apply for our wonderful dogs at https://www.milehighcanine.org/adopt/adoption-application/.

Story
Magnum is looking for a fun-loving and patient forever home. Given his scary start of winding up in a high-intake shelter, he is cautious of new humans. Luckily, he's in a loving foster home and learning that the world isn't too bad! Magnum is still finding his confidence and will benefit from patient humans who understand that good things come to those who wait. When given time to learn the world and come out of his shell, we know that he is going to provide a lifetime of adorable antics and unconditional love. Magnum LOVES to play with the other dogs in his foster home and would greatly benefit from having a confident canine companion in his new home. Homes with smaller humans should be aware that he is very shy, as to not overwhelm him. He is working hard on housebreaking and seems to have kennel-training down to a tee. He loves to cuddle up, hide in a blanket, and sleep through the night once the lights have been turned out. Finally, this dude LOVES stinky food, golden-fish crackers, and noisy crinkle toys. Magnum is a 2-month-old mixed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog is current on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. This dog is good with other dogs, cats, and children. This puppy is working on kennel training, housebreaking, and house etiquette. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if it might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! Story
Ace is the royal flush in the game of puppy love. This guy is smart and full of energy. He is a serious Ace of hearts. True to his working/herding breed, Ace is highly intelligent, and energetic. He would do best in an active home, with a family willing to include him on their hikes or outings. Ace loves to romp around the yard, and chase/herd his foster siblings. Due to this, he will benefit from a fenced yard, and another playful canine sibling. Ace is a good boy who likes to retreat to his kennel for rest when needed. He is working on his house etiquette, potty training, and is starting to work on leash manners. This handsome boy is a true one of a kind and as sweet as getting a royal flush. Ace is a 4-month-old mixed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog is current on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. This dog is good with other dogs, cats, and children.
