Story
"Meet Olive — a happy little Aussie who lives life with her whole heart. At around an year old, Olive is the perfect blend of exuberant energy and affectionate cuddle bug. She’ll happily zoom around the yard, bounce through a game of chase with her dog friends, and then settle right in next to you on the couch like she’s been yours forever. Olive truly loves people. She greets new friends with a wagging tail, a wiggly body, and the occasional face kiss. She enjoys other dogs and would love a home with a playful canine companion, though she can also do well with an active family ready to include her in daily life. She’s a smart girl (as many Aussies are!) and is already learning her manners. Olive does beautifully in a crate, is learning the art of the leash and enjoys walks, and is working on basics like sit. She’s eager to please and responds well to gentle guidance and positive reinforcement. She’s still mastering housetraining and will succeed in a home that can continue to provide safety and structure for her. This sweet tri-color girl is the kind of dog who brings joy wherever she goes — a playful shadow during the day and a cozy snuggle buddy at night. If you’re looking for a loving, loyal young dog to grow up alongside you, Olive may be your perfect match." Olive is being fostered in Longmont, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs.* You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/olive/. Story
"Shade is single and ready to mingle. Truthfully, he cannot wait to be your shadow. He’s a lovable guy who wants to be wherever you are — leaning against you, across your lap, or lying on/near your feet. This sweet boy is smart and has brains to match his beauty. He is learning more every day that the world is not such a scary place. We suspect Shade might be an Australian Shepherd/Blue Lacy mix. He is very playful and eager to please. In just a week, Shade is already getting the hang of, “Sit,” “Drop,” “Crate,” “Wait,” “Get out,” which is a polite way for us humans to ask for some space, and is making good progress on his recall. Shade thinks toys, treats, people, dogs, walks and car rides are the BEST. If you’re looking for a cuddly companion who would love to work for you, Shade is might just be the guy for you." Story
Mac is a handsome, playful pup who’s ready for an active home that will take him along on life’s adventures. He absolutely loves the company of other dogs and can’t resist a good game of backyard chase. In his foster home, Mac has been working hard on basic obedience, house manners, and kennel training and he’s making wonderful progress. He’s fully potty trained, confidently uses the dog door, and is as sweet as can be. Mac is an 8-month-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $400 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and neuter. Mac is also tested with other dogs, children, and potty trained. He is not tested with cats and is working on kennel training in foster care. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if he might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! Story
Meet Monsoon! This Australian Shepherd has a heart as big as his beautiful smile. This sweet and gentle boy is the total package—affectionate, well-mannered, and ready to be someone’s loyal best friend. Monsoon is great with other dogs and has done wonderfully with the dog-savvy cat in his foster home. He’s also good with kids—he doesn’t jump and isn’t overly rowdy, making him a lovely companion for a family looking for a calm but happy presence. He absolutely loves people and will happily soak up all the pets you’re willing to give—especially belly rubs! Monsoon is very people-pleasing and thrives on affection and connection. If you’re looking for a dog who wants nothing more than to love and be loved, he’s your guy. Monsoon walks well on a leash, is house-trained, and kennel-trained. He may give a little protest when he first goes into his crate, but he settles in nicely and relaxes once he’s inside. He is a gentle soul with so much love to give. Monsoon is ready to find a forever home where he can share his sweetness, loyalty, and endless belly rub requests. Could that home be yours?
