Story
Meet Murphy (aka murph, moo, moomie, or moop) is a 1 y/o Australian Shepherd mix with an abundance of energy and love to give! Murphy came to All Aboard in May of 2023 and was adopted in June of 2023. He is now back with us in search of an active family that will give him the love and patience he needs in order to thrive! Murphy does fantastic with other dogs and would love a family with dogs who love to play as much as they love to snuggle. He has worked really hard on his leash manners and needs someone who will continue to work with him! While moo loves other dogs, sometimes on walks he gets so excited seeing them that he will sometimes lunge or bark so he will love a family that understands this and can help him to work through it. He is incredibly smart and loves to work on his training and loves to please his people. He knows how to sit, lay down and shake. Murph is as loyal as they come and will bring so much joy and laughter to his forever family! If they ever introduce fetch in the doggy Olympics, Moo is a SHOO IN for the gold medal! Murph also loves to play tug o war or spend time chewing on a bone! Murph has only been around kids a few times and is very alarmed by them as he has never seen such smol alien humans and so he would do best in a home without young children. He has been working through separation anxiety and he does best crated while his people are out and about. If left to free roam, he gets anxious and forgets what is his vs what isn't! Murphy is truly a wonderful boy and we adore him here at All Aboard. He needs someone who will continue to work through his separation anxiety and take the time to make him feel comfortable and safe as he deserves the best that life has to offer! ADOPTION FEE: $425 We are a foster-based rescue and generally do not have pups available to meet at our office except during adoption events on Saturdays. Not every dog attends every adoption event. Interested in this pup? The first step is to complete our online application by clicking the "Apply for Adoption" button. Please note that we are only able to finalize adoptions at events for approved adopters. The earlier you apply, the better as it takes time to review and approve applications. We host adoption events almost every Saturday from 10:00am to 1:00pm at our rescue office (1721 W Harmony, unit 102, Fort Collins, Co 80526)! Check our Instagram and/or Facebook page for info on where we will be hosting adoptions this weekend! All Aboard Animal Rescue saves dogs and puppies from high-kill shelters in other states. These pups are brought to Colorado, where they are required to be spayed or neutered - breaking the cycle of unwanted litters of puppies who end up as strays! Please consider supporting us in this mission by adopting, fostering, volunteering, or donating.

Story
Junie, Australian Shepherd/Heeler, 4.5 yrs., 40-45 lbs. Junie is a very loving and loyal dog. She is the boss and loves keeping Cooper in line. She likes to go on walks and explore with him. She gets along with other dogs great, but she will growl when she has had her fill. She will not nip or bite. She is a bit more relaxed and laid back than Cooper, but still loves to play around with him. She also is a bit of an attention hog. She will stare through your soul until you acknowledge her. She is very in tune with human emotion and will snuggle with you when you are sad. She’s a very sweet soul. She also may be more human than dog. Cooper, Blue Heeler, 4.5 yrs., 40-45 lbs. Cooper tends to be shy at first but warms up pretty quick. He has a lot of energy and loves playing with Junie going on walks and exploring with her. He LOVES attention. He is a very loving and loyal dog with the silliest personality. I think he may be more human than dog. He gets along with other dogs but does take a minute to acclimate to them. He loves to give kisses (I think he was a lizard in his past life…hahaha). They are a bonded pair. They have grown up together and I would hate to separate them. They are soulmates and I would love for them to stay together. I understand that this is a lot to ask, but they are so worth it! We are having to re-home them due to a move across the country. This means we will be living out of a small camper and traveling all over the southeast. I don’t feel that this is a fair life for my pups to live. They love to run and play and wouldn't get this freedom if they come with us.

Story
Hi I am Lacey! I am a 7 month old, mini aussie/border collie mix, tipping the scales at just 25 lbs! I love to play with other dogs and am still learning how to be confident around people - especially men. I am a bit shy and scared still but adjusting well out of the kennel life! I love to play with my foster mom and foster sibling! I am still learning to understand boundaries with other dogs. Sometimes I can be a little pushy but I tend to respond well when corrected. Once I come out of my shell you can really start to see my playful nature. I love to chase balls and play with toys. I am so good at self entertainment. I am also really good at settling down once I have run around and played a bit. I play hard and crash hard, ah the life of a puppy. I also love to cuddle, give kisses, and receive belly rubs. I am potty trained - I only had a couple of accidents my first day at my new foster home but that's just because I was nervous. I have not had a single accident inside, or in my kennel, since then. Speaking of the kennel, I am working on getting into my kennel on my own. It is still a little scary sometimes but once I am in it I do great and am happy to nap a a little during the day and I sleep great through the night! I would love to find someone who is patient so they can help me become the best dog that I can! I am still learning many new things. I would also thrive in a home with someone who lives an active lifestyle to ensure I am able to get all my energy out. **Due to her being skittish she will need another confident dog in the home. It has proven to help her come out of her shell quickly. Exception if you have scared/skittish dog experience and have other confident dogs in your life she can socialize with. ALL POSO DOGS COME FULLY VETTED AND WITH 2 FREE DOG TRAINING SESSIONS

Story
Hi my name is Hazel and I am pretty shy, but with the help of my foster mom I am coming out of my shell. I like to go for walks, but in a calm and quiet area. I like cats... but like to chase them. So I should probably be in a house without them. I like other dogs, and being around a confident dog would probably help me gain my own self-confidence. Small kids would probably be too much for me, but older kids that can respect my need for a calm environment, would be just fine with me. Please someone just give me a chance. This animal is in a foster home. If you would like to meet this animal, go to www.souldog.org to fill out an adoption application. When submitting your adoption application make sure to submit a good clear picture of your living room, kitchen, and yard. If you rent, you must provide proof animals are allowed. We will contact references. Once the application is reviewed our adoptions coordinator will send your information to the foster to set up a meet and greet. We ask that all members of the household come for a meet and greet to ensure there are no personality clashes. If you have other dogs in the home and are meeting a dog you must bring them for the meet and greet. Filling out an adoption application does not mean you will be adopting the animal. Doing a meet and greet with one of our animals does not guarantee you are adopting the animal. We will select the family we feel is the best choice for that animal after screening and meeting applicants.
