Rocket - Chief Mischief Officer
If there's a party happening, Rocket didn't just get the invite... he planned it.
Rocket is the social butterfly (or should we say social rocket) of the crew. He was the first to explore his new world and hasn't looked back since always ready to make new friends, greet new humans, and turn any moment into playtime. He's bold, confident, and just a little bit too smart for his own good.
This clever boy is the ringleader of puppy shenanigans, constantly inventing new games-and yes, occasionally teaching his siblings some questionable life skills. Whether he's plotting a great puppy pen escape or sneakily backing up his wiggly butt before launching into a surprise pounce, Rocket brings laughter wherever he goes.
Rocket would thrive in a home ready for an active, curious pup who keeps life exciting. He'll need structure, playtime, and lots of love-but in return, you'll get a hilarious, affectionate best friend who keeps you on your toes.
Rocket is a 2-month-old mixed breed who was rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $800 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, and neuter. Rockt is also tested with other dogs, cats, and children. He is working on potty and kennel training in foster care. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if he might be a good fit for your home.
The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals.
We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!)
Please note, adoption applications are processed within 1–2 business days. Adoption applications cannot be processed onsite at adoption events.
Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).
For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772 or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned.
Thank you for choosing adoption! If you would like more information about our organization, please visit our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org.
