He has done well with kids.He is a little more shy with men, but I think he would come around pretty quickly! Want a new happy best friend!? Apply to adopt him today on our website www.souldog.org. Story
Allow us to introduce you to the canine Paul Newman. He’s ever so aptly named. Paul is a 4.5-5 month-old Australian Shepherd mix. He has STUNNING blue eyes that look right into your soul. Paul spent the last couple months of his life in a very small, underfunded, shelter in Texas with his littermates. Since springing the clink, Paul has been settling into his foster home. He very much enjoys the company of other dogs and derives much confidence from them. We feel he will be most successful in a multi-dog home. Paul is very, very sweet and once he gets to know you, he enjoys all the snuggles. He is quite playful with a dash of a mischievous streak and has proven to be quite smart as he learned the doggie door in just a few days. Paul Newman is being fostered in Black Hawk, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs.* You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/paul-newman/. Story
Please meet Kora! Kora is a stunningly beautiful, 4-year-old, Aussie. She came to MHCR as an owner surrender due to the owner’s elderly parents moving into the home and their need to have fewer dogs around. Kora is a loyal, loving, dog-friendly girl. She’s well-mannered in a home and was raised with children and other dogs. She takes her food, treats and her crate very seriously so her new family should be equipped to handle feeding separately. Aside from that, she readily shares toys, couch time, her humans, and water bowls. Kora walks well on leash, too! She’s a delightful and easy girl that will thrive in a home as an only dog or with other dog friends. If you’re looking for a silly, snuggly, and loyal sidekick, Bonita is your girl." Kora is being fostered in Greeley, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs.* You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/kora/. Peggy a very sweet girl, who loves nothing more than to play and be with you once she settles in! She is a bit shy at first but warms up fast and is full of cuddles, play and love once she gets to know you!!! She does great with other dogs in her foster home, is non reactive around cats, and is doing great with crate training. Since she is just a youngster still, she will need a family with lots of patience and willingness to work with puppy training to help him gain some confidence and skills needed to become the best canine citizen she can be!
