I have been with one family for most of my life, but almost 2 years ago one of my humans passed away and my other one couldn't take care of me anymore. I have since been with my new family, but they have little children who make me really anxious and scared. I do best in a calm environment where I am the center of attention. Please no children, unless they are older (12 years +) and know how to be calm around me. I grew up with other pets, and can do well with other dogs, I just need to be slowly introduced. I do love cats and do great with them in the home. I am overall a really sweet girl, and will stick to you like glue once I get to know you! I take anxiety medication currently, and am on a special diet because I am overweight. I am up-to-date on all vaccines and will have a copy of my medical records upon adoption with me.

I received Gunner as a birthday gift from my kids! I was diagnosed with MS and thought I was able to take care of him! He's very spoiled and I think i'm doing him more harm than good seeing as how I'm in an apartment! He needs to have a yard or alot of acreage to run around! He's not an apartment dog! I care so much for him, I look at him when we are walking by ourselves and he loves it! I always have him on leash when there is no fences, because he or I think he has no recall! But when we go to the dog park he doesn't leave my side! It takes him a minute to warm up to others dogs mainly because he's afraid. When he was a puppy he was afraid of everything! He is leash aggressive and we are trying to work on that but he is too strong for me so I don't walk him on leash around other dogs! I have an electric shock collar for him, but I dont like to use it if I don't have to! I hope that his new owner would love him as much as I do!

Randomly goes for a swim in the pond. Affectionate but also independent. Currently about 30 lbs. Someone will be very lucky to bring her into their family. She is currently still in Oklahoma where she was rescued but she can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take her in or she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Alder is an extremely sweet, quiet, shy boy. He is the dog version of an introvert. He is gentle and sticks to himself and is great with other dogs of all sizes and with cats. He doesn't engage much with them thought as he prefers to do his own thing. He has to be the most low maintenance and chill dog I've ever had in the rescue out of hundreds of dogs. He is hesitant with people he doesn't know but never aggressive. Not an ounce of aggression. He was listed as a pit bull mix at the shelter when he was smaller and still a younger puppy but now that he is an older puppy (about a year) it's obvious that he is not a pittie but looks more like a border collie. He is currently still in Oklahoma where he was rescued but he can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well.
