THIS IS A COURTESY POST - NOT A PET RESQ DOG. PLEASE CONTACT OWNER FOR MORE INFORMATION. Romeo is a five year old Australian Shepard. He’s a happy boy, healthy, and up to date on all his vaccines. He loves to play fetch and run around. He is good with other dogs and kids. He has not been around cats so unsure of that. He is very smart (As Australia Shepherds are) and listens to commands like ‘Paw’ ‘Sit’ and he turns 360 degrees if you motion a turn. He loves frozen peas and also enjoys eggs very much. He’s not much of a barker, but once in a while when he does, he understands and listens if you tell him not to bark if someone is sleeping. He’s super playful and is very happy when people come over. He’s also content on his own, and doesn’t have any type of separation anxiety. He’s a beautiful dog, weighs about 50 pounds. Romeo has one blue eye, and one brown eye. Mocha is an energetic, young, friendly, healthy, playful beautiful girl. Sadly, she lived her life on a chain in a trailer court, prior to being rescued. She has now been fully vetted and is ready for a home that will work with her and be patient with her as she continues to learn good habits. She may be initially shy but then will be exuberantly friendly. She definitely has the energy to play and interact with her dog buddies. She would be better with someone her size or larger. She was with a couple that had a child. Not sure how much interaction they had with her other than to put food and water in her bowls. She is definitely deserving of a wonderful home! Tink’s story didn’t begin the way any young dog’s should — but we believe her best chapter is still waiting to be written very soon now that she is in the care of Critter Cavalry Rescue. At just two years old, this striking blue-eyed Australian Shepherd girl has already experienced motherhood and heartbreak. She gave birth to a litter of puppies on Thanksgiving Day, nurturing them with devotion. But by Valentine’s weekend, her own world changed. When her owner suffered a stroke and was hospitalized in ICU, Tink was left confined inside a camper for four long days, alone and unsure. It would be understandable if that experience made her fearful or withdrawn. Instead, Tink emerged gentle, loving, and incredibly devoted to people. Currently weighing 38 pounds (and needing about five more to reach her ideal weight), Tink is a petite Aussie with a soft and gentle temperament and a playful streak. She absolutely adores children and has a naturally sweet, careful way about her. She loves playing fetch, going on walks, and burning off her energy in a securely fenced yard — which is a must for this active, intelligent breed. Tink is mostly housebroken and simply needs the consistency of a routine. She does well in a crate and walks nicely on leash. We are currently evaluating her with other submissive dogs, as a recent attempt to pair her with a strong alpha female was not a good fit — which is understandable after all she’s been through. She may truly shine as the center of someone’s world. Tink has proven she is resilient. She has proven she is loving. Now she just needs someone who will prove to her that she will never be left behind again. From the very beginning, Rooney stood out as something special. Born the week after Thanksgiving as one of eleven puppies, there was just something about this little guy that made everyone pause and smile. He is already crate trained and mostly housebroken, which is quite impressive for such a young boy. While Rooney can be a calm and thoughtful little soul at times, he absolutely lights up when he’s around other young dogs. That’s when the zoomies come out and the fun begins. He truly loves company and thrives on being part of the action. Rooney is expected to grow into a perfect medium-sized companion at around 35 pounds one day. He is the kind of dog who will grow alongside his family, sharing adventures, quiet moments, and years of unconditional love. Stella is a friendly and intelligent dog with plenty of energy. We want her to be happy and have a space where she can run around and play with other dogs. Previously, Stella lived in the mountains of Colorado, where she enjoyed a large fenced yard and had lots of friends to play with. Now, she is living in a townhouse without a yard, which has been challenging for her. As a very active young lady, she is currently feeling unhappy. Stella is a mix of Australian Cattle Dog, Husky, German Shepherd, and Golden Retriever, and she is expected to weigh around 30 pounds. She is a loving and eager-to-learn dog who picks up new skills quickly. Stella would be an amazing agility dog, as this would engage both her mind and her need for physical activity. If agility training isn't your interest, she would also thrive in an active lifestyle with an avid walker, hiker, or runner. Stella is a very quick learner and was immediately fully potty trained. To ensure the best for Stella, her new owners should have a yard or live on a farm, and it would be great if they have another dog and children. Stella has plenty of energy to add playing at home to her list of activities. Stella has been spayed and is current on all her shots until May 2026.
