Story

This handsome fellow and his siblings came in to rescue last winter after they were dumped on a back country road. Their mother was found deceased, so we took the puppies in to try to save them. They were very sick initially but are very healthy now. Big boy is a gentle boy but does love to run and play with other dogs. Big boy was the largest of the puppies, but his siblings have caught up to him. He has done amazing with his house and crate training. He is so deserving of a wonderful home to call his own. He is fostered in East TN, but transportation is included in the adoption fee and provided by Rescue Riders LLC. Please let me know if you have any questions. Gizmo is the very definition of bravery, resilience, and second chances. At just 18 months old and a tiny 10 pounds, this Miniature Aussie mix carries a story far bigger than his size. He is a breathtaking tri-color boy with a fluffy tail and the most unforgettable face — one deep chocolate brown eye and one sparkling blue eye that seems to hold an entire journey inside it. Gizmo came from a heartbreaking situation — over 200 dogs crammed into a tiny home and outdoor kennels by a backyard breeder. He was just a number there. Overlooked. Under-loved. His natural shyness became his shield, keeping him safe but also keeping love at a distance. But then everything changed. His foster family patiently worked their way into his guarded little heart, and once he realized he was safe, he opened up in the most beautiful way.
