Meet Carmella! 💛🐾 Carmella is a spayed, microchipped, playful girl who’s house-trained, kennel-trained, and knows several basic commands. She loves frozen peas before bedtime, squeaky toys, jerky treats, and ice cubes! She has a sweet, lively personality and thrives on interaction and play. She’s perfect with other dogs, enjoys a yard to run and play, and is good with kids and cats. Carmella is still in her excited jumping stage, but she has never shown aggression. She’s affectionate, loyal, and loves being close to her people, always ready to brighten your day. Carmella would do best in a home that can match her energy, give her plenty of love and attention, and help guide her playful enthusiasm. If you’re looking for a fun, loving companion, Carmella would love to meet you! 💛🐾

Story
Bailey is an 8 and a half year old Australian Shepard who loves her walks and big open spaces! Shes great at playing fetch as well and loves to play! Bailey is a timid pup but very friendly and good with other dogs. Baileys ideal hone would be in a house with a yard for her to be able to roam and explore. While she does like to explore at home she does have some anxiety while driving and would ideally need a home where she isn't moved around often as well.

Here's what you need to know about me:I'm an active dog! I would love to go home with a family who can help me burn off energy with exercise, playtime, and outdoor adventures. It's recommended I meet any dogs or kids living in my new home before I'm adopted. I just want to make sure we all get along.I need a home without cats. We just don't get along - even if they don't mind me, I can't be in the same home with them. Story
Rosalita and her sister Marietta were dumped in the country. A lady contacted me and brought them to me. Rosalita is the sweetest girl. She is happy, confident, and spunky. She weighs about 20 lbs and has two different colored eyes. She is great with dogs of all sizes and with cats. She is the perfect pocket-sized doggie friend. She is currently still in Oklahoma where she was rescued but she can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take her in or she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Note: No dogs are advertised as potty-trained because most dogs need at least some re-training in a new environment and after being in a shelter/rescue environment/strays. www.facebook.com/desideratarescue (copy and paste into a new browser window) Transport locations: - Washington State (Kennewick, Spokane, Tumwater, Tacoma, Tukwila, Lynnwood/Edmonds, Bellingham) - Oregon (Portland and Springfield) - Colorado (Ft Lupton) - Idaho (Heyburn and Boise/Meridian) - Utah (Ogden) - Wyoming (Evanston, Rock Springs, Laramie) - Montana (Missoula) - Illinois (Vandalia, Springfield, Chicago) - Indiana (Spiceland, Burn Harbor) - Michigan (St Joseph, Battle Creek, Ann Arbor) - Wisconsin (Madison, Wausau, Eau Claire, Appleton, Milwaukee) - Minnesota (Minneapolis/St Paul) - Iowa (Des Moines) - Ohio (Columbus and London) - Pennsylvania (Erie, Pittsburgh and Harrisburg) - New York (Buffalo and Albany) - Connecticut (Enfield) - New Jersey (Bedminster) - Nevada (Las Vegas) - Arizona (Flagstaff) Vetting: spayed, microchipped, rabies vaccine, bordetella vaccine, dhpp vaccine x 3, lepto vaccine x 2, dewormed several times, on monthly flea and tick prevention, on monthly heartworm protection, heartworm tested (negative) Adoption fee: $600 (includes the $250 cost of transport from Oklahoma and all vetting listed above) Adoption application (copy and paste into a new browser window): https://form.jotform.com/82677586784176 FAQs (copy and paste into a new browser window): https://docs.google.com/document/d/12eb_SRtk1AzaBl87UltcLJ24MjH9UhQm_LE77iWZEQA/edit?tab=t.0 Desiderata Rescue is Oklahoma Licensed Rescue #95

Story
Willow is an incredibly sweet, intelligent, and devoted dog. She joined our family in 2020 after her original owner needed to find a new home for her due to personal health issues. She attached to us quickly, strongly desires to please us, and loves to be near her humans. She has been a special part of our family for the last five years. She will do well in a household that welcomes a lot of attention from her. She responds to verbal cues well and learns quickly. She understands basic commands and will spin on her hind legs for a treat. Willow struggles with some reactivity towards other dogs and needs distance from them on walks. We believe that she needs to be in a home without children or other pets. However, she is highly trainable so we are certain she will respond well to training! Willow loves to go on walks and to the beach. She enjoys playing with balls and ropes. She has a playful personality and particularly enjoys playing with a human!

Story
Meet Moose, he’s a four year old Aussie Doodle (hypoallergenic, no shedding!). We purchased from a breeder in PDX when he was a puppy, he’s looking for a kid free home with space to roam if possible (not a deal breaker!) He’s use to having acres to survey and enjoy but overall a lazy dog that doesn’t care for fetch or a walk in the park. He’d rather be on the couch with you taking a nap, looking out the window at outside, or going on a car ride. He’d prefer no small children in the home as we just had an incident where our toddler’s grabbed each side of Moose’s face, shaking his head and Moose bit our toddler’s cheek (this is why we’re re-homing him - we have two small children - we will gladly share with you all the details. He’s a sweet boy though, aiming to please and always ready to work for treats.. he loves it when the neighbor dogs wander over, and he visits with them - he’s gentle with smaller dogs
