🐾 Meet Lady! A Little Beagle Mix with a BIG Personality! 💕
Meet **Lady**, an adorable 2½-month-old Beagle mix with a curious nose, a playful spirit, and a whole lot of love to give! She's outgoing, adventurous, and everything you'd expect from a fun-loving puppy. But here's a bonus for her future family: **Lady is actually pretty quiet!** She doesn't do much of the typical Beagle howling or barking. She may give a little whine in the morning when she's ready to get out and start her day, but otherwise she's a fairly quiet little girl.
If there's one thing Lady absolutely LOVES, it's being outside! She enjoys exploring the yard, sniffing out interesting smells, playing with toys, and finding the biggest ball she can carry around. She even paws at the patio door sometimes to let you know she's ready for another outdoor adventure!
Lady loves toys of all kinds. One of her favorite activities is digging through the toy bin, picking out her favorites, and spreading them around so she can entertain herself. She's playful and full of puppy energy, but she also knows how to settle down for a nap after a busy day.
**Lady is blossoming into quite the little cuddle bug!** When she first arrived, she preferred watching everyone from a distance or relaxing on her dog bed. Now she's discovering that snuggling is pretty wonderful! She still loves her cozy bed but has also decided that taking naps on the couch next to her people is a pretty great way to spend the afternoon. She sleeps through the night, does well in her crate, and settles down quickly.
Lady is **wonderful with other dogs** and absolutely loves having canine friends to play with. She would make a great addition to a family with another friendly dog, but she'd also be happy as an only dog with a family willing to give her plenty of attention and playtime. She's great with children, too, although she's currently teething and can be a little mouthy. She responds well to redirection with toys, but younger children will need supervision.
She's still a young puppy, so potty training, basic manners, and all those important puppy lessons are a work in progress. She'll need a family ready to provide patience, consistency, and positive training as she grows.
🏡 Lady's Dream Home
Lady would love a family that enjoys spending time outdoors as much as she does! A fenced yard would be wonderful, but it's not a requirement as long as her family enjoys getting outside with her for safe playtime and exploring. She'd love another playful dog but would also be perfectly happy soaking up attention as your one and only.
Lady is an all-around wonderful puppy—playful, curious, affectionate, and just beginning to discover how much fun snuggling can be!

This dog is currently located in Chicago's southwest suburbs and can be seen by appointment once an adoption application is completed and approved by the rescue. Please note that we cannot hold dogs for any reason.
